Despite being written for the shojo demographic, I've found it quite a comfy show to watch as a man. A kind-hearted woman doing her best to help others is a wonderful escape from the bitchiness of some women IRL. Some of them are great, but none I've met are Tohru-tier. Have any anons met girls/women like Tohru IRL? I've met some kind women, but none quite like her. That may be because she's an exaggerated anime character, and no real person can completely fill her archetype.

Tohru I believe classifies as bakadere. Yeah, you won't find many women that act exactly like her IRL. Only the 2d world can provide you with such women.
