where would be a good place to start for someone who is interested in hacking but has little to no prior knowledge?
Literally YouTube and ebooks. Nowadays, we have a lot of less skiddie content and way more good content. Check out liveoferflow and other content creators, this will give you a good start.
hi, im a new guy in hacking too, we could be friends and help eachother. what do u think?
My advice is go to libgen, grab a 2023 book on the topic you are interested about and read & implement. Theres literally lots of stuff you can cover, but for starters go for linux and bash scripting, then basic networking, os adiministration and web stuff, then pick an scripting language like py so you learn automation. Finally go for domain specific stuff, like distributed computing (ddos), encryption, reverse engineering, web security, osint, frameworks, etc. Don't skim through the basics and good luck.
