Well, Nina herself was a huge menhera. Like I remember, before she graduated, she was STILL complaining about her debut being "scuffed", how it was way too long in comparison to Millie and Enna's, how management didn't allow her to pre-record it, how nobody could help her to do it, how she said honey too much and people mocked her over it etc. Complaining about your own debut being shit 2 years in after it had happened is some huge impostor syndrom, considering Elira and Finana didn't have any fancy editing/lore video either and just debuted with barebones background with zero imput, meanwhile Nina had comissioned tons of art and her own BGM. The company isn't perfect by any means, but throwing jabs at it because "they didn't make lore video and recorded the debut for me" is just ridiculous. I think this is the huge issue with Nina: she always aimed at a bigger thing than she could possibly chew, and when she couldn't chew, she would become depressed and felt like a failure. Her "I'll do 6 songs per year" ambition is a prime example of that. Her being jealous over her genmates and not being able to connect to them is partially her fault. If only she wasn't such a huge numberfag in the beginning and just had been laid back and chilly streamed for fun and not for "le content", I bet everything turned out to be much different. Still, I can't excuse all the ridiculous hate she got over pretty much nothing, no matter how menhera she was.

I feel like Yugo was too naive for his own sake. Like he genuinely couldn't read the room and didn't get why all those things he said in Japanese were considered offensive or bad, and people attacking him for simply collabing with his JP senpais hurt him bad. And yeah, Yugo was, despite all his scuff, a really entertaining streamer, be it solo or in collabs. Him pretty much abandoning regular streaming hurts, because he had so much potential up his sleeve. Well, at least he's happy now.
