Some info about the birthday clown, Tocci. He's an alien who came to earth and became a clown. Besides games and weeb stuff, he also likes singing and KPop. Besides Chinese, he understands a bit of English. But he sings songs in Chinese, Japanese, English and Korean. He's a fan of Kuzuha. Has a pretty popular ship with Yog, a fellow male liver in VR. The series of unofficial dub-over / voice acting he did of a Chinese drama is pretty popular, ranging from 1-4ish million views each. Just to spark a bit of discussion ITT, How is the mainland vtubing scene, does VirtualReal hold on it's own there, is there a big corpo that is native over there competing with them, and how many indies do they have there.

There are other vtuber companies on there that are impressive, not just the ones that have been there a while but also the newly created ones. They all seem to have incredible resources, nice tech and hiring impressive individuals. I think it's because of how much emphasis they put on music, idol stuff in their vtuber scene. Pretty early on, some idol-related people got into vtubing there. Now everyone ŵants to hire singers. Bilibili like to hold stage performances. Some of the best indies have good musical background. There is definitely a lot of good indies and there is room for indies. The other companies on there and some big indie probably has strong backing somehow. Maybe they see the potential of vtubing. Foreign vtuber content is also very popular on the platform though. The niji/holo stuff. It probably does help somewhat that VR is attached to Nijisanji. Somewhat related, there is a singing competition being held by this other company. Chiharu and Leo from VR are also competing in that.
