Let's say Sira was magically abducted. I get to her and we escape but we're far from home. This will be hard but raw physical talent should be enough to get us back.

This is where I become the Big Damn Hero that saves the kingdom. Magic users can't get under the volcano but someone like me who uses brawn can. With putting petty grudges aside, Vera and her Spymaster will help me determine what's under it, Jorn can help me devise a plan and I can go and stop it.
Then I go back to guarding Sira and the politics begin anew…
