As an obvious point, you'd expect an early script to contain larger ideas for obviously rushed concepts like the illusion enemies. The final product is clearly a case of rushing, not intended malproportion.
However this is clearly already based on what they expect they can do, Infinite's maybe not-Null Space definitely doesn't exist by this point.
The green hill concept art isn't around.
though that ones more of a crapshoot, at least not null space has leftovers Classic sonic has been shoved in even if not all the tie in elements have been implemented yet.

The final is clearly a gutted version of this with the tie in done fully.
Say now that i think about it, didn't this script have some comments to go with it? Like comments that clearly pointed at issues with the script.
and that they ignored
2014-2015 forces really seems like an interesting topic in regards to a lot of things, probably before they knew what they were limited to and no shoved in tie in.
I wouldn't be shocked if little of the actual game existed by that point, but from a concept view it seems that Forces probably went through a lot.
I remember Lizuka mentioning that at one point Buddy was considered too much of a main character and was given less importance in the final. Notably despite being mentioned in that script the death egg/eggmanland lack any concept art thinking about it.
Wonder what kind of concept art got held back.
of course i could just be overestimating how much was made for early forces.
