But to play "devil's advocate" the demand to have homosexual marriage accepted same as heterosexual marriage arises from the fact that some people do live homosexually (no matter the reason) and thus it's good to have this formally recognized and aknowledged because legal, moral and social problems can be better addressed in such a framework.
