Our objective at /icup/ is to provide sports oriented competitions for all boards of the Webring (as well as any other IB who's willing to pitch in) of various sports. >>4585 As a viewer I personally wouldn't mind to see new teams into the cup, though I would go removing the more derivative teams that have nothing to do with 8ch (e.g. /fschan/) and try to revive teams that are more thematically interesting (/tg/, /fit/, /tech/, /bane/). For example, the zzz/fit/ BO has expressed his interest in repurposing the 2016 /fit/ team to be used in a future cup, which, if done correctly, would be a more interesting contender than perhaps half of the teams that are competing in the current one.

I'll have time to read through this and think about it later, but I will not be able to manage dozens of teams by myself again. We saw how it turned out in the stream, and I know how it turned out as a huge time sink. At this point in time, and this is open to feedback, it seems like the two options are either: - we start getting managers involved, so people who are able to download PES can help to handle the construction and submission of their teams - we downsize the cup significantly Any invitations between now and me manually declaring invitations open will be outright ignored.
