Where’s the strangest place your waifu has ever been, and why did she go there? 16crystals 10/08/2022 (Sat) 01:53:36 No. 71118
Has your waifu ever been to a place that is really out of the ordinary? A place with unreal scenery? A world with strange magic or unusual laws of physics? A society with bizarre customs and culture? A civilisation with amazingly advanced technology? Let us know!

I feel the strangest place Flandre has ever been is the Hell of Blood Pools during the events of Touhou Gouyoku Ibun. Petroleum was starting to massively gush out of the ground in Gensokyo, causing great trouble to Gensokyo’s inhabitant who didn’t even know what it was, calling it "black water". It was discovered that the one responsible for this was Yuuma Toutetsu, the leader of the Gouyoku Alliance, who was trying to liberate Iraq dig it up out of greed. Many tried to stop her, but all failed. Actually, it’s revealed that Okina Matara was the one who voluntarily polluted the surface world with oil, in order to frame Toutetsu and make people want to defeat her. Okina Matara knew that only Flandre could bypast Toutetsu’s ability to absorb others’ power, and so she recruited her so she could defeat Toutetsu. Flandre went deep down into the depth of the Earth, until she reached the Sea of petroleum where Toutetsu was doing her activities. After a first battle, the Sea of petroleum revealed its true form (or I should say, it’s "spiritual" form): the Hell of Blood Pools. Petroleum being made of the decomposition of death living organisms, it retains all their fear, pleasure, grief, loathing, and resentment. The result is a nightmarish ocean of blood, with the arms of the deceased extending into the air, and huge flames burning into the distance under a hellish red sky (see pictures posted above). Flandre then fought Toutetsu, up to her very last grotesque form, and then defeated her. She was so brave to go all the way into this nightmare of a world and I’m very proud of her.

Ann has spent time in a lot of different countries due to her parents' jobs in the fashion industry, but the most unusual places she's been are the worlds inspired by the minds of other people in Tokyo. There, she uses her persona, Carmen, which is a manifestation of a part of her own psyche, to fight against Jungian shadows which take the form of demons. The areas she explores come in two types: first is the area that is shared by the collective minds of all the people of Tokyo. This manifests as an endless series of subway tunnels. They lack any individuality or distinction because this is the environment and sight that is most common to all people of Tokyo. The other type of area she explores is a version of the world that is defined by the powerful way that certain people view it. When someone becomes too delusional, their normally subdued Jungian shadow begins to overtake their normal personality, and establishes its own world on its perceptions. Inside this warped world, you can see how their delusions have caused them to perceive the real world. For example, a shut-in might view the world as a barren and inhospitable desert, or a con artist might view everyone as a walking ATM for them to empty at will. These worlds might also include people whom the creator knows, which means Ann or someone else infiltrating it might see the way in which others really view them. Ann and her friends explore these worlds in order to try and change the hearts of their owners who have become corrupted, trying to "steal" their hearts by stealing a precious treasure which represents the source of the owner's distorted views.

THE DREAMING the dream world is her brother's domain everything that "IS" the dreaming "IS NOT" The Dreaming is a metaphysical plane of symbol, belief, and imagination that is ever-changing. The inhabitants of the Dreaming are called dreams and nightmares, often they are gods, myths, and even ordinary human beings who later became dreams. why did she go there? to talk with her brother how can YOU get there? at the end of the day close your eyes and put your head on your pillow, you will be there just before you wake up

The weirdest locale that Zima has canonically been to would be the castle Calais-Blason from the "Phantom & Crimson Solitaire" game type. She has a monthly squad of herself with fellow ursus Absinthe and the former general Hellagur where they have some cute dialogue. The actual castle is a pretty weird area, even by Arknights' cyberpunkish setting. It's filled with strange renaissance theatrics and stage props. It's a very mystical and fantasical setting which clashes heavily with the rest of the world design, leaving a lasting impression.

My waifu, Amane, was once stranded in a forest with her classmates and went through a very Lord-of-the-Flies-esque situation. The setup is actually very similar to a manga called "Limit." For this reason, a similar in design to Kamiya (one of the main characters), and the fact that serialization began only a few years before Grisaia no Kajitsu's release, I believe initial inspiration for Amane's route largely came from this manga. Kamiya is also similar in personality to a different character in Grisaia, Kazami Kazuki, and I just realized all of them have the same first syllable. Coincidence?
