Did any of you found out something horrible about your waifu that you didn't know before? Anonymous 10/08/2024 (Tue) 18:12:24 No. 71993
As the subject said. Did any of you found out something horrible about your waifu that you didn't know about before? Is it even possible to still love your waifu after? Have any of you coped and made new head canon about your waifu, since there is barely any official lore about her? I'm struggling with this. I found out something horrible about my waifu, even though it's not mention in any official canon, it's just that my waifu is based off Japanese mythology and there are discoveries/links to this mythology and links to non-Japanese influence. Then again maybe it's karma for sins? I never dreamed about my waifu and I fantasized about others since they are fictional characters (unfortunately).
>>71993 I can't exactly tell since you're not being specific, but does her doing something bad mean you're no longer able to love her/move past it and love her? Is it truly that bad?
>>71994 She didn't commit any war crimes. It's just something horrible by association, especially when you read up on Japanese mythology, considering my own affiliations. I'm just asking if anyone experienced something similar, like if the waifu has done something horrible in canon or there was something bad about her that was hidden, but discovered through research (even if it wasn't the creator's intention). How did people here cope with it?
You have to ask yourself honestly if it's a dealbreaker for you. Only you can answer that. My waifu has done some things I don't like. But pretty much any relationship, fictional or not, has things like this.
My waifu was implied to have killed people so she could prepare them as meals for her master. It kinda bummed me out to hear about that (talk about understatements), but if it's not a dealbreaker the only advice I can probably give is just cope.
What if I'm really racist (I am from /pol/) and I hate the fact that my waifu might have been a jew all along? That really broke my heart, even though my waifu doesn't have a jew nose or acts like a jew.
i was absolutely devastated with what they did to my late waifu. after making a fool of myself and sperging about it. it lead me into a depression. where i started looking fore a new waifu, i think i have a better relationship with my current waifu then i did with raven
I absolutely despise any sort of NSFW or lewd content of her, but I can understand that rule 34 will always be a thing and that she isn't special, it happens to every character regardless of where they came from. But seeing her get used for "fan service" in her official source material all of a sudden? Even if it was just one small scene it was enough for me to never wanna watch it again in fear of seeing her creators whoring her out more, even now I still can't believe they would do something like that, it just felt so unexpected and I was so enraged by it. I still love her regardless, I'd like to imagine she didn't like it either and it was unintentional on her part, which it kinda was but still, it felt so out of place. In a way I have moved on but the wound is still fresh and it's easy for it to open up again.
>>72001 Which waifu is this?

>>72003 >Hatsune Miku fan service in official material Creators selling out for a cheap jew shekel instead of staying true to what the character is suppose to be. It happens all the time, but it still ain't right. My condolences.

>Did any of you found out something horrible about your waifu that you didn't know before? Funny that you asked, but yes. You see, a big cornerstone in her route is that she falls in love with MC (who is supposed to be (You) ) and that only if you get her to love you back by being very honest and transparent with her will she understand how much you mean for her, to the point that she will reconsider the idea of relocating abroad (far far away, to the UK specifically), thus going against her powerful parents' wishes. This is how the route reads per se. There is, however, one problem. Someone made me notice less not long ago that when she starts accepting your (MC's) feelings, to the point of dating you in a quasi-official way (and getting physically intimate, too), she is already aware that she is going to relocate abroad soon. Whereas you are led to believe that she was informed of this order further down the line, this is not really the case. In other words, she is dating (You) while fully aware that she will say goodbye two months later, until who knows when. This is realistic in a weird way, a lot of teenage romance ends abruptly because one side turns out to be less dedicated than the other one. But it still feels dirty, especially because it's never openly addressed, despite her story being all about the value of honesty and straightforwardness. I don't know whether this was all intentional or not, I would need to ask the author behind her route
>>72008 Which game? I've seen this posted before on cuckchan, but I never knew where it was from.

>>72009 It's called Katawa Shoujo. Dating sim
>>72010 Oh that. Shit, I didn't recognize it, since I've heard of it, but never played it.
>>72008 I think this conflict could be more about strength of feeling versus consequences than it would be honesty. If Lilly is already uncertain that she can argue against leaving, then adding to that uncertainty is if staying is worth it. It would be pretty embarrassing for her to call off the trip on behalf of Hisao and then break up a week later over dumb teenager shit. She needs to know the relationship is worth the commitment, which isn't so much about honesty as it is just people verbally making a commitment and not assuming they can read each others' minds.

>>72012 I am seeing multiple issues here. First of all, the trip was clearly not reasonably timed, since she has yet to finish high school (the Japanese academic year ends in March, whereas the game's story ends in August), and she is being summoned at a time that is too early for her to graduate from her school and too late to do her final HS year in some Scottish school. That alone is enough to protest the decision, which she does not appear to have done to any appreciable extent, as far as we are aware. Secondly, assuming that she might have broken up with Hisao at a later date anyway is not a mature thing to do, and in fact suits the idea that she views dating as a mere hobby and not as the serious emotional commitment it is supposed to be. And by deciding to leave, she is clearly sending the message that whatever her parents say has priority over Hisao's wishes. If this is so, and it seems to be, it means that, at best, she actually fell in love with him long after they started dating, supposedly by the final chapter; that's assuming she is now genuinely in love with him and does not merely feel guilt-tripped, or that she understands the timing of that relocation was awful and that it is indeed reasonable to delay it. Relationships are ALL about trust and transparency. The less trustworthy and transparent you act, the less you deserve to be in a relationship (which is not the same as saying you are less likely to find yourself in one). I think what happened here is that the writer over-extended himself in his attempt to create a touching love drama, and he paid more attention to detail than to the story as a whole, that's why the implications of the latter half of Lilly's route were probably lost on his very creator. To be fair, I believe he was younger than 20 when he wrote the thing. But I'm also quite sure the other authors had a say on everyone else's route, so it's a bit weird that nobody made a comment in this direction
>>72013 I wouldn't say that assuming a relationship might end is immature. After all, most relationships DO end before marriage. The average person has had many more girlfriends than they have wives. And if someone has even had a wife, divorced, and remarried, that should tell them enough that they can't trust that a marriage will last forever. To be honest I think it would be displaying a wisdom beyond a teenager's years to assume that a teenage relationship would last forever, especially because it very well may be the first they have ever had.
>>71999 Lean into it, redpill her, and fire up that kinky raceplay
>>72017 A person in love doesn't consult statistics on how many relationships ultimately evolve into marriage. They just feel in love. Except for when they don't
>>72020 I think you are assuming everyone thinks like you do.
>>72017 >The average person has had many more girlfriends than they have wives. Assuming thats a good thing, lol, lmao even. Leaving the little joke/statement to the side, while it's certainly not common it does happen the whole "childhood sweetheart" (thats the expression most use, right?) is stadistically rare but not inexistent, and I would say relationships are all about communication and trust, so if you're thinking about such things (the relationship ending) then you should either try to avoid that or simply be honest and upfront, unspoken fears have destroyed enough relationships.
>>72030 I'm a bit confused here. I didn't imply one should conceal that they are aware that the relationship will probably fail. I think it's best for both people to think this way, and ironically will lead to a healthier relationship. Both people will either work harder to maintain the relationship because they're aware that it's not something super special that lasts forever just because they love each other (no relationship is this way).
>>72031 It can be "something super special", if anything not trying this hard fucks many relationships, if we see relationships in such a cold hearted way nothing good will come out of it, maybe romanticism truly is dead and buried nowadays, people just go trough relationships because "I can just try another one if this fails", you should treat each shot as a super special one if you actually care about your partner. And to quote you "I think you are assuming everyone thinks like you do" and "no relationship is this way:", arent you assuming too ? Because not everyone thinks the way you do, personally I will spend the rest of my life with my waifu, and no 2D or 3D girl will stop me, this is special, if people decide to treat others like disposable things or jewelry to put on then so be it.
>>72034 To be clear, I'm not saying the relationships aren't special because I believe them to be so. I'm stating, objectively, that they aren't special, even though I treat them as if they are. I don't see it as a matter of opinion. Me loving someone doesn't make them or the relationship special. Nobody and nothing is objectively special.

>>71993 >Did any of you found out something horrible about your waifu that you didn't know about before? Well, sort of… There is indeed something horrible that I found out about Flandre that I didn’t know before falling in love with her, but I found it early in our relationship. ZUN basically said that since Flandre has always been fed with cooked dishes, she doesn't know how to properly attack a human for feeding on their blood. So he claimed that whenever she tries to attack a human, she can't control herself and blows them away without leaving a spot of blood. The idea of Flandre obliterating innocent people to oblivion is horrifying, at least to me. To better cope with this statement from ZUN, I basically told myself that: 1-Touhou has contradictions and incoherences. In this situation, I’m wondering why Flandre would come across humans she could feed upon (i.e. one that doesn’t live in Gensokyo and therefore isn’t protected by the contract) if she mostly always remains inside of her room where cooked food is always brought to her. Also, canon manga Cheating Detective Satori has shown that Flandre can display a very good amount of self-control in battle, so that would be strange if she was to lose all this self-control during feeding. Finaly, Flandre told Reimu, during their first encounter, that she had only ever seen humans in the form of drink, but as she definitely had seen Sakuya before, I’ve always imagined that Flandre was only trying to provoke Reimu by saying that. So for those reasons, I have doubt that what Zun said is even true in the first place, and I prefer to consider this statement untrue. 2-If it is indeed true, well, at least it seems that blowing those humans was not done on purpose, but was rather an accident due to the lack of training when it comes to feeding on live humans. 3-I also tell myself that Flandre IS a vampire, and that hurting humans is part of her nature and that I have to accept it, either she blows them up in a failed attempt to feed on them or indirectly hurt them by eating/drinking human-based food that is prepared for her. I myself do eat animal meat and I did kill a few fishes myself when I went fishing. Sure, I don’t want to compare cattle, chickens, pigs and fishes to humans, but we’re all part of the food chain and I can’t blame a creature for killing another if it’s to survive. >Is it even possible to still love your waifu after? Yes! I do still love Flandre regardless! >>72001 >But seeing her get used for "fan service" in her official source material all of a sudden? Even if it was just one small scene it was enough for me to never wanna watch it again in fear of seeing her creators whoring her out more Was it part of one of Project DIVA games? Or a Crypton Future Media music clip (do they even make any)? >>72020 Call it being realistic, cynical, or just anxious, but it’s possible to be in love while at the same time thinking that there is a possibility that the relationship will not last forever. >>72031 >Both people will either work harder to maintain the relationship because they're aware that it's not something super special that lasts forever just because they love each other (no relationship is this way). This. Knowing that one’s relationship is not bulletproof will lead to efforts into maintaining it, while thinking the opposite is more likely to lead to a sad and troubling moment of disillusion. Although it’s not the very same thing, it somehow reminds me of The Three Little Pigs fable. One must be aware that there’s a big bad wolf out there and that if you want your house to withstand its blow, you need to understand that houses are not indestructible and that you need to put effort into building a strong one.

>>72038 >Call it being realistic, cynical, or just anxious, but it’s possible to be in love while at the same time thinking that there is a possibility that the relationship will not last forever. Very well then, with your permission I shall call it cynical, calculating and manipulatory >>72028 Anon, it's about *feeling*, not *thinking*. Often times we think to compensate for a lack of emotion, it's true, but it's not an ideal situation. And my general point is, it's okay to write characters in a way that portrays them as selfish and underhanded, but it's NOT okay not to highlight these flaws of them. If you fail to bring up that their behaviour is not ethically commendable, you are lying by omission
>>71993 OP here. I'm going to schizo blog post about why I made the thread. My waifu is Momiji Inubashiri, the white wolf tengu from Touhou. Later on 4chan/pol/ I found out that tengus in ancient Japan may actually be jews posing as mythological creatures. In fact, there's video of a Japanese TV show that shows all of the links of the tengu actually being jews. https://www.bitchute.com/video/M3D1Ad0uXqwa Here is the catbox link, even though this version was shortened: https://files.catbox.moe/68561u.mp4 But general proof/consensus: >Star of David/Star of Remphan being a symbol of Israel shows up a lot at Japanese temples associated with tengus. >Mt. Kubote in Fukuoka where it is said the tengu once lived in. It is said in the 5th century A.D. a goblin appeared in the mountain and surprised people. A museum curator pulled out an old scroll drawing of the tengu/goblin. It looked like a man with a long nose. >The tengu has a strong resembelence to the mask of the Hata people with the huge nose. >The small black tokin boxes/tokin hat which the tengu put on their head is very similar to custom in Judaism of phylactery, which according to Britannica, is a Jewish religious practice, one of two small black leather cube-shaped cases containing Torah texts written on parchment. The TV show in the video actually went to the Jewish community center in Tokyo and talked to (((Rabbi Henry Noah))), to confirm the customs are similar. >Japanese story of Ushiwaka-maru receiving a tora no maki (basically translates to tora scroll) from the Kurama Tengu after finishing his training. This is mostly linked the crow tengu (like Aya, Hatate, and Megumu), but the fact that Momiji, being a tengu may be a jew was heartbreaking. I do identify as NatSoc after all and hate jews, now my waifu is a jew? How could Momiji be a jew? She's strong, loyal, honest, have a strong sense of justice, dutiful, and even motherly. Traits a jew doesn't have. Eventually I had to do more research into tengus. I found some good news. Momiji may not really be a tengu after all, because there are no white wolf tengus in real life Japanese mythology, it was something ZUN made up. Basically it implies that white wolf "tengus" are basically like golems/slaves to crow tengu, because real life tengus were all crow based, even though they were actually jews in disguise. It's very likely jews in Japan stole the term from the Chinese term Tiangou. Infact the Chinese characters for Tiangou is exactly the same as Tengu in Japanese, which is 天狗 . It's likely jews stole the term to pretend to be a mythological creature, which it something jews would do, if you know of jewish tricks. So my research shown Momiji may actually be more of a slave or shabbos goy and not a jew, so that's good news. Eventually I posted the video on the Aya thread on 4chan /jp/ along with other shitposting about a white wolf uprising. At least I got spread some /pol/ shitposting on /jp/. tl;dr - I thought Momiji Inubashiri might be a jew all along and was heartbroken, due to jewish links to real life tengu mythology, but research has shown she's not a jew, yay!
