Let's conduct a peer reviewed meta-study to answer that question, shall we? Here's are some broad patterns I see come up when describing the 'moneyshot' moment folks here posted:
Trigger words/Phrases the ticklee exclaims that indicate the severity of the ticklish sensation they are experiencing. Within this are the subdivisions of;
General Profanities "Shit" "Fuck" "Oh My God" etc.

Adjacently related is
laughter morphing and mixed with screams and shouts which border on cries of real distress
Excessive thrashing and convulsing of the ticklee. Seeing the
ticklee struggle in their bondage, showing them really making a physical effort to escape the tickling, futile and involuntary as it may be
The very act of the
tickler attacking a very sensitive spot or using a very effective tool or method that initiates the ticklees change in reaction. Common denominator here are:
Hairbrushes scrubbing the soles of feet harshly (with oil)
