I've been around the loli/shota world long enough to know that there is a certain degree of overlap between lolicons/shotacons and people attracted to actual minors (pedos), both among consumers of loli/shota porn and those who produce it, and while I personally don't mind the use of terms from one group and the other while referencing fictional characters, I also know that there are individuals in loli/shota communities who dislike the idea of such "overlaps" existing, so I try to stop and avoid discussions about the relationship between loli and pedophilia because: a) they always ruin the thread in which they originate, and b) they result in nothing because the parties involved almost always cling to their own beliefs and ignore what the other is saying.
