Even though someone made a scaly bunker board there, I was wary of posting on that chan. I wouldn't have found this place if I didn't read through the desuarchive posts. Incidentally, I know that one of our resident drawanons goes by "lizardanon" on FA. I would've contacted him, but I don't have an account there.

It's got the usual nonsense where Laurence tries to be a proper boring British gentleman but gets sucked into some zany scheme due to Temeraire and/or the other aviators just not giving a fuck. Part 2 is more serious, but features Temeraire and some other dragons pulling off a daring mission completely on their own, which is nice to see. Unfortunately it's still written from Laurence's point of view, so you miss out on seeing all of their planning and such. And in Part 3, we finally get to see Laurence graduate from "I would do anything for this dragon, except treason" to actually committing treason (for a good cause, of course). My copy of book 4 also includes the first chapter of book 5 as a preview, and half of it is from Temeraire's point of view, which is very cool. I hope it doesn't go back to 100% Laurence POV once the two are reunited.

I've been thinking about Cataclysm DDA and its mutation trees, and an idea popped in my head. I've been thinking of some variant of the raptor mutation tree that's basically a super-charged variant of it, ala indoraptor and pic related, like some chimera traits were mixed in. Extremely powerful, able to burst fire .50 cals, but fucking huge and eternally hungry. Also, /AMH/ is online. I was hoping *someone* would take the initiative, but apparently I'm the only one willing to preserve the boards I'm interested in.
