So how terrible was this blatant cash grab? Worse than the Vaginafest or equally bad? How fucked is WWE right now on a scale of one to eleven?
I didn't watch, how was Shawn in the ring?

So what now ? With autistic steroid man with the belt again, Strowman jobbing to him in an uneventful manner, Ramen Noodles with 2 types of leukemia that will most likely prevent him from wrestle ever again, AJ on permanent midcard despite having the other top belt and the top merch seller, etc. What is the point anymore of having Brock with the title ? Give him a Sammartino-type title run until Roma comes back ? Joe has a disease that is gonna take years to recover from, and even if he comes out on top, it's gonna take a while for him to be on shape again, there's no reason for him to hog that belt for another entire year again, what is Vince trying to achieve here if Brock is gonna be a part-timer again and not the top face ? This also brings another question: What the fuck is Vince gonna do with the main event portion ? The list of possible candidates has several cons: Strowman has been used as a glorified stepping stone for both Roman and Lesnar, and the same goes for Rollins and Ambrose, AJ is better than most but he's relegated to perma-midcard, Lashley's momentum is gone, Nakamura, Samoa Joe and Balor have done fuck-all because Dunn hates the NXT guys (apparently). The most "clear" candidate should be McIntyre, but even he is not safe from being booked like shit because the FIVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE crew can throw a tantrum at him, then we have Andrade, but he was just called not too long ago. I don't even know what the fuck is going on anymore
>>130438 >I don't even know what the fuck is going on anymore We're all witnessing the downfall of the McMahon legacy in real time.
>>130436 It's funny because that was Shane's first single's victory since his return and now he has the label of best in the world, kek. >>130446 Still don't know about that. Let's see how XFL turns out.
Finally finished it this morning. I find it funny that an all-male PPV is running literally the same week as the all-female one. Fact is there will never be a female main event at WM. If there is it'll be the lowest drawing WM of all time. Nobody cares for female wrestling, only feminists who would otherwise never watch it or deluded cucks who'd rather watch women hurt themselves than give each other bra & panty pillow fights. Hogan's still pretty big for his age it has to be said. L/D ratio of his return on YT says it all, only a quarter of fans don't forgive him. Shout out to the guy wearing the Eddie Guerrero shirt. Fuck off to the retards in the Youtube comments who thought it was new Samoa Joe merch. All of the first round matches were far too predictable and felt like AI vs. AI demo matches you'd get on the early Smackdown games. They went back and forth for a while, the loser would hit their finisher, get a 2 count, the other guy would then hit their finisher and win. Not to mention they were short as shit, by 1 hour into the PPV all four Round 1 matches were done. 15 minutes for each match, and that's including promos, entrances and exits. Apart from Mysterio (and Rollins who was really the only guy on the card who'd make sense to win the tourney), the wrong guy won each match, and that was because they all had the wrong opponent. I don't know why they did the stupid SS split-brand bullshit. Firstly Mysterio should not have been paired against Orton. It had a couple decent spots but was too short to build up any momentum. Orton should have gone up against Hardy instead, as they were unable to finish their HIAC match. The other two matches should have been Ziggler vs. Rollins, given the two are in a heated feud at the moment, and Angle vs. Lashley, as they're both veterans, both real athletes, and Lashley is a guy that could conceivably defeat Angle. Ziggler? No. Not without interference or illegal tactics. Maybe prime push-era Ziggler against crackhead-era TNA Angle, sure. So you'd have: >Mysterio defeats The Miz >Hardy defeats Orton >Rollins defeats Ziggler >Lashley defeats Angle
>>130458 Round 2 would then allow you to do one first round match that actually happened (Rollins vs. Lashley) with the same outcome, and Hardy vs. Mysterio, which the latter would win thus maximizing his screen time. So the final would be Rollins vs. Mysterio, which could have basically been a re-telling of Austin vs. Jake the Snake at KOTR 1996, given Rey's bad midsection and the threat of leaving SDL for the loser. Shane winning was funny but ultimately made the whole tourney a farce. Unusually Nigger Day probably had the best match of the night. Can't recall a botch and the match flowed relatively well. AJ vs. Joe was incredibly stale. The feud means nothing now, much like the Shinsuke feud did. No matter what Joe does, he can't win. And he should've won at SSD. That would've advanced the feud and allow the second half of the story to be told. The Coquina Clutch has about as much potency as the Tazzmission did when he went to WWF, considering how he never manages to win with it against the likes of Brock, Roman and now AJ. DX vs. Kane and Undertaker should not have happened here. They should've saved it till Survivor Series. Maybe instead we could have had AJ vs. HBK to shut the smarks up at least. Personally I didn't feel it was as bad as I thought it would be other than the ending, because Hunter just had to go over again. Sweet Chin Music was as beautiful as ever, the Pedigree is now nothing more than a drop to knees. Even green WCW-era Jean-Paul Levesque did it better than that. Shawn is just as animate as he ever was, and proves he could've stayed on the main roster well into this decade if he so wanted. He's not Liger levels of incredible, but he's not far off. Finally, the universal match was extremely predictable. Unless you're utterly retarded, there was no way they'd give Brock the belt again. His time is over serves me right for typing this out before watching it, the fucking madmen gave it back to Brock. That match was bullshit. Hopefully we'll see AJ win at SS this time around, their last match was really good even if it did border on a Brock squash. And I assume Strowman's belt/trophy he won at GRR is now non-canon, since I haven't seen them on TV or PPV since maybe early summer when the latter got smashed. Holy shit Renee is annoying, guess that's why so many redditards like her. Her voice gets on my nerves, especially that lisp of hers, and she seems capable of only two different interjections: cheering a move or telling the others to shut up. At least Coachman would only ramble on and on about something that nobody cared about until a sudden move derailed his train of thought. Get her off the announce table. God, mentioning Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, Kurt Angle, DX, the Brothers of Destruction and Eddie Guerrero's passing in one post makes me feel like it's 2006 again. Saxon = joke account

>>130457 >XFL It may very well be successful, but that's moot. Even if the XFL is so wildly successful that it replaces the Negro Felon League it doesn't matter. Wrestling is the McMahon legacy, not football, and it's a ruined one. There's no recovery for the company in my view. I hope I am proven wrong, but I agree with Jim Cornette that wrestling as a business is dead forever and that "sports entertainment" is doomed to fail as a medium ultimately.
>>130458 >lowest drawing WM of all time. We're at the point where it doesn't matter what the main event is, in fact it doesn't even matter what the WM card will be, people buy into Wrestlemania purely because of the whole Wrestlemania Experience™. They've been getting over 70,000 assess into seats even with Roman Reigns main eventing every show in the past 4 years with every one of them being called the worst WM ever. >Fuck off to the retards in the Youtube comments who thought it was new Samoa Joe merch. Holy shit how new and retarded do you have to be to bolieve that, fuck those guys. >>130460 Wrestling is dead, 'sports entertainment' lives on with WWE. Domestically WWE is doing shit but seems to be ok internationally. If they will die off, it will be a slow decline, which is already in motion with RAW's ever dwindling ratings. Cucks crying #CancelWWENetwork will resubscribe back for their NXT TakeOvers or whatever. WWE will still continue but the biggest test will come when Vince ultimately kicks the bucket and we'll see if Haitch and Steph can either thrive or go out of business.

Oh fuck, I completely forgot this was just yesterday. Time to see what I missed. I hope you niggers got webms. >>130280 I certainly hope this was intentional booking. You remember they were doing this before when KO and Sami were on SD, right? Playing that angle.
>>130458 >>130459 I disagree, women's wrestling can be good. WWE is just shit at it.

>>130461 >Cucks crying #CancelWWENetwork will resubscribe back for their NXT TakeOvers or whatever. Nail on the head. Complacency is why WWE will continue to get away with this shit. If people honestly cared they wouldn't just tweet it, they'd actually fucking do it.Streaming sites the WatchWrestling exist and you can watch a show/ppv in full the next day. There is zero excuse to even sign up to the network or give WWE ratings.
>>130438 The kicker is Lousy Rousey and Bork are part-timers if rumors about Lousy possibly leaving for MUH KIDZ AND FAMILY are true. >>130326 Evolution was a sjw-shit-tier ppv, Booleyfag.
>>130460 >>130461 >>130458 PPV draws, network subscriptions, merch sales, and live-event attendance literally do not matter financially to WWE. They make more money on TV rights than the rest of those things combined, and their TV deal doesn't seem to be affected by ratings either, so they're gonna be just fine for at least 30-40 more years.
>>130550 I used to agree with this but then I saw Chelsea Green and now I'm convinced that some women are actually starting to get pretty good at wrestling. Still rare to find one who can actually stay in character the whole time and not botch, but again: Chelsea Green. Notice I'm not posting a picture of her because I'm not a wai-fu fag, the girl is a good wrestler, I don't need to base my persona off her like a certain faggot we all know.
