Holy shit
>>148879 I'm assuming this is in response to the aew/cmll grand slam crossover that was announced earlier this week.

Here's what to expect for those less familiar with mid-20s AAA: >El Hijo del Vikingo, the most insane high flier in the world today (and that says a lot) who will probably be booked to have the flippiest match of the year with Je'Von and has a 30% chance of injuring himself >Dudes who would instantly become meme wrestlers if exposed to the WWE audience like Mr. Iguana & Nino Hamburguesa >Alberto El Patron (aka Del Rio) wrestling in a shirt because he's not as in shape as he used to be >Some dudes you might recognize from Lucha Underground like Aerostar & El Mesias (Mil Muertes) >Vampiro on an endless retirement tour where he stands tall over and over for no reason >A third guy in the La Parka gimmick who debuted in a coffin as the opening notes of Thriller played over the loudspeakers to imply that it's actually the second La Parka back from the dead (WCW Parka is the first one and still alive, don't worry) >A women's division who can not only mostly work but are so thick they make the current NXT roster look frail (La Hiedra's monster ass will be trending after the show, I guarantee it) >Also some other actually good wrestlers with no other qualifiers like the Dr. Wagner family, Pagano, Laredo Kid, and Cibernetico
>>148879 Honestly, this really is a bad idea in my opinion. If you wanted a Worlds Collide PPV, try to start of small with an NXT x TNA PPV then work up to partnering with other promotions.
>>148928 I think it's worth mentioning El Hijo del Vikingo is like shoot 5 feet tall.
>gAyEW trannies on Reddit already dilating about this and how AAA is evil and the guy who beat up Vaquer is there as if CMLL wouldn't have taken him back/he'll end up there eventually because it's Mexico
>>148879 >WAAA
>>148879 >Triple A is now NXT Mexico
>>148894 WWE had events in Mexico planned since last year, I think. Konnan talked about them.
They actually straight-up bought AAA: https://x.com/WWE/status/1913707188909932900 So yeah expect Del Rio back on TV, Vikingo winning the Speed belt, WWE pretending La Parka 3 is the original La Parka, Vampiro getting into the WWE HOF, and a lot of fat Las Toxicas asses in HD.
>>148987 Holy shit.
>>148987 >La Hiedra in NXXXT Oh brother, I'm finna bustola
>>148987 Image if Del Rio gets the Jeff Jarrett treatment when Vince bought WCW.
>>148987 >>148998 I sort of expect Del Rio to sit out his contract and never be seen on TV nor mentioned by WWE and AAA ever again.
How do you guys expect this AAA thing to work? Will it be like a New Japan/Stardom thing where it's two different promotions operating separately under the same corporate umbrella while crossing over sometimes, or will they made AAA into a weekly show like Evolve or something?
>>149008 Anon, Alberto's been AAA's top champ for almost 250 days. Of course they could just vacate it and put it on Vikingo again which would be funny.
>>149012 I feel like it would make the most sense to keep Triple A a mostly Mexican thing, with occasional crossover events, but make watching Triple A more accessible in the US via Peacock or Netflix.
>>149012 I'm still not sure of who owns what, but if WWE has true complete control, I imagine all the retarded shittery like El Patron chimping out and throwing a chair at the crowd will get cracked down hard on.
This also means Penta can now go back to Pentagon Jr. after all these years.
>>149012 I doubt WWE wants to manage AAA in the long term like that, but it would be very interesting if they made it their own Lucha promotion and put actual effort into it The rumours about them wanting to buy and revive Lucha Underground were interesting, to say the least
>>148928 Is Psycho Clown still one of their top draws? Didn't Los Psycho Circus reunite?
>>148928 >El Hijo del Vikingo, the most insane high flier in the world today (and that says a lot) who will probably be booked to have the flippiest match of the year with Je'Von and has a 30% chance of injuring himself Redpill me about El Hijo del Vikingo
>>149091 He's a small flippy dude, very good at it but also a bit of a retard who constantly gets injuried by doing flippy stuff to the point where Rey Mysterio said he should be less of a retard if he doesn't want to have a career ending injury
>>149083 Psycho Circus is together now yeah. I'm surprised Pagano is still around there but I'm glad for him, I really liked his feud with Psycho when he first joined AAA a decade ago. >>149091 Dude does flips that others don't, gets insane rotation, and can actually fill in the gaps between the flips and dives decently while having a distinct look, but he ends up hurt more often than a guy his age should. Easiest match of his to find is one he had with Kenny Omega on Dynamite like 2 or 3 years ago but he's been in plenty of modern AAA main events.
>>149015 Put them on Univision seeing as it's part of the NBC/Universal family of networks.
>>149452 Univision is not an NBCUniversal network.
>>148987 they got their NXT Mexico i guess
>>149945 I wouldn't say that it's their NXT Mexico. It's more of the fact that they have another major promotion under their banner.
>>149969 I wonder if they'll do a Worlds Collide with AAA, NOAH and the other promotions under the Wrestle Universe umbrella in Japan?
WWE will ruin them NJPW and TNA are next be careful Tony Khan WWE wants a global monopoly
Serious question, but does AAA have financial issue or something? Why one of the top Mexican promotion is selling the company?
So how does AAA do their shows? Do they have weekly shows, or is it MLW style where they just have big events once or twice a month, or what?
>>150518 AAA has been run into the ground the last few years. Marisela is a shoot retard on the level of Dixie.

>>150526 This bitch was in CMLL not in AAA
(66.07 KB 818x864 4c1.jpg)

I'm shoot worried that the evil Fed is going to try to buy my fabrit joshi promotions.
>>150494 Wrestle Universe is DDT's service primarily IIRC, and they're partnered with AEW.
>>150555 They'll control or buy Marigold and try to entice talent to go there. Rossy has been in their pocket for a while. 99% chance they sign Bozilla and make her the new women's monster heel since she's much younger & better than Nia.
>>148928 Are Psycho Circus members still on the company?
>>150556 AEW more or less dropped the CyberFight partnership the moment Bushiroad became open to working with them. All those initial patnerships only happened due to Kenny and he got pushed out of booking very early on after fighting with Brandi over the women's division. Tony is an immense retarded faggot who has zero understanding of any wrestling Dave doesn't talk about (and even then only barely). He didn't want DDT or TJPW because Dave doesn't talk about them. The most AEW has done for TJPW is sending over Nyla Rose and Willow Nightingale like once or twice each and every time they all stank it up. They haven't done shit for DDT except steal their ace and then start getting him booked on NJPW shows. Anyway, WWE isn't going to acquire NOAH unless CyberAgent decides they want out of the wrestling business which would mean selling off CyberFight as a whole. I seriously doubt it happens since they have way more money than TKO and CyberFight is really only a small part of their business. They don't really have any reason to. If WWE bought any Japanese companies then they probably have their pick of the litter when it comes to any joshi company that's not Stardom or TJPW. Marigold is a joke promotion so it'd probably be best to try and buy Sendai which is much smaller but they have the connection through Meiko and the training/talent is much, much better. Just have them expand and start offering better/guaranteed contracts. Men's companies... no idea. AJPW would be the obvious one but who knows if they'd sell. NJPW, DDT and Dragon Gate aren't happening. So after AJPW you'd basically be shindy tier with shit like GLEAT, JTO, 2AW, whatever.
>>148928 >t's actually the second La Parka back from the dead (WCW Parka is the first one and still alive, don't worry) LMAO KINO
>>150563 Fuck WWE and their fanboys who defend the shit of a global monopoly they destroyed the UK scene then they will do it with Mexico the day they touch something from Japan like NJPW or Stardom i will hate them forever
>>150580 Jesus this board is as shit as the original /wooo/ was at the end. The UK scene died because it was filled with garbage wrestlers who were all some form of woman beater, rapist or pedophile and couldn't sustain more than like two small promotions.
>>150581 Then you best Bolieve it, because they're coming for Japan next.
>>150528 Still latina.
