Well, glad that they're cooking and promising stuff. Seems like they actually want EN to be more like JP with regular events, 3D videos and tournaments, which is really good. I don't expect anything as a fan at this point besides streaming, but hope the livers will be happy about it.
>we will also work on expanding our activities as a group, including increasing the number of VTubers.
Sasuga acceleration man
>we will continue to strengthen our training system to produce VTubers who can be active in the medium to long term, in the process from audition to debut
Seems extremly contradictory, considering the last 3 auditions had "only experience streamers" reqirenment. I get that Yugo, who didn't even know how to turn the stream on, was a huge pain in management's ass and his streaming training didn't pay off at all, but I would rather take more people like Yugo saint genuine fans instead of grifting /lig/shitters like Zaion or Selen. Hell, we already had another /lig/er shitting us up with Grimmy, who I'm 90% was the one who leaked the contract recently. All of those people don't give a sungle fuck about vtubing, they don't care about the culture and they don't care about Niji, they just stream with an avatar as a gimmick and want to get in for clout.

Honestly, I unironically think Anycolor had zero expectations for EN at the start, they thought they'll be another KR/ID situation with mediocre merch sales and barely any audience. When the branch had hit 30 people and the fans started demanding more stuff and 3Ds, they just weren't ready to produce it and had no people to manage anything. Cuting off the official programs was bizzare since it's still hard to believe that they couldn't hire enough stuff to manage it for 2 fucking years. Also, letting Selen instead of management to do 80% of the branch's events was a ridiculous retardation from their part. It's clear in hindsight that she used those events to boost her channel up, not the branch, which led to a fucking disaster where people had sided with mentally ill shitter over the company and other talents. By the way, this was purely EN's fuck up, since JPs actually have boosting prevention where they'll organise the big tournaments on the main channel, even when the idea was by the livers themselves.

Don't overestimate the impact of the drama. Look at Vshojo who had a massive reputation blow with Nuxtaku and 3 of their biggest talents quitting. Dramaniggers were making dozens of videos of how "vshojo is about to collapse any day now". All they had to do is to poach Henya, and now /vt/ sucks their toes non-stop, all dramaniggers shut the fuck up and pretend they never said a bad thing about them and public in general memoryholed everything. The masses are dumb and have goldfish memory, nobody gives a shit about a drama that had happened a week ago. Just hire somebody that will pick people's interest, produce more quality merch, songs, 3Ds, events etc. and nobody will give a fuck.
