I tried posting this on Kemono's chan board, but they block Tor apparently, so I'm screaming into the void here. If anyone knows an email list or something, I'd love to know. I've been thinking about how you could get around the Fanbox/Subscribestar/etc. restrictions, and I think the only real way would be to use a browser plugin that literally acts as a simple proxy. You could make it robust to MITM attacks (people uploading garbage) by sending your tokens over to Kemono and then have Kemono make the (encrypted) network requests via your computer as a proxy. Unfortunately this would mean that importing would more than likely be slower because it would depend on the speed of the leaker's internet. But the upside is it could (with standard precautions) be practically undetectable and wouldn't suffer from the trolling problems that come with manual uploads. The huge plus side is that it would probably make scraping slightly more accessible because people wouldn't have to fiddle with the inspector.

I know that most of Redmoda and Aweye's stuff is pretty available elsewhere, but I would also just like to have an archive. There are also probably artists I'm forgetting about right now. I'm not familiar with how uploading a massive archive would go with Mega or something, so I'm not sure if I could share easily, but I think we should make an effort here to archive as much as possible and share around what we have to cover our bases. So I finally found a way to scrape SubscribeStar, it's Alessandro-Gobbetti/IR ( https://github.com/Alessandro-Gobbetti/IR ) (It's a web scrapping app built on MERN stack). To run it, you will have to download the code to your computer, open it in vscode and run the backend and frontend server using the terminal. Read the readme file, its very well documented. There is a "how to run" header which explains how to setup and run the servers. If you couldn't follow those then this project is not for you, search something simpler and beginner friendly.

I'm guessing the subscribestar importer is still broken given what some people here are saying
