Pretty simple stuff but just someone that gradually transforms step by step into full time diapers. Starts with having accidents and bedwetting. The protagonist is embarrassed and realizes they have to do something about it but has to hide it from others. They start with cheap pull-ups but soak through those too easily. Then they buy real diapers and are so embarrassed. This goes along with a slow form of regression over time to gradually enjoy diapers more and more before realizing they are a little baby who needs a caretaker and to be diapered 24/7. There's nothing like a good story with a reluctant character who eventually accepts their fate as a helpless diapered baby who needs to have everything about their life decided for. I love the humiliation but I also prefer more genuinely sweet caretakers rather than punishment such as "Awww did you make a poopy in you diapee, it's ok that's what diapee's are for lets get you all cleaned up" instead of spankings.

It seems like the common theme here is when the protag finally breaks. My favorite scenarios are when the MC is taken to the park/beach in a little-ish outfit and has a diaper blowout. Either they have to remain covered in poop all the way home, or get a change right there, but they will end up full-on baby bawling at the complete helplessness of it. Elfking88's "The Baby of the Family" has multiple parts like this. Another good one is when the protag's diaper humiliation takes a turn towards permanent, and he realizes he's too much of a weakling to fight back, or he tries to and his pathetic attempt is stopped immediately. On the flip side of things, I enjoy SFW stories where the MC is lovingly babied, including parts where he's sad/scared and crying, and his caretaker holds him and comforts him until he's feeling better. It's a pretty simple "peak" scene, but if it's written well, it makes me feel so happy.

What I always find fascinating about sebtomato, for example, its that things are scary and threatening until there is only peace and piss. Tears and cries turn to giggles and coos. Lust after Mommy's boobies turn into greedy hunger baby desires. The mental shift, whether knowing or unknowing, the abandonment of adult personality traits being replaced by infant ones. The doctor prescribes experimental drugs that might help and encourages wife to give puzzles and brain teasers to him to keep his brain active and working. She finds out he cheated on her while still an adult and she basically stops giving her the medicine and tricks him by telling him that he's answering the puzzles correctly while he's been actually been coming up with wrong answers. The utter sense of despair, being betrayed, helplessness and all of that leading to the conclusion that he's most likely turning further and further into a baby by his cheated on wife after payback but willing to forgive him and love him as her baby...its combination of fear, hornyness, impotence and surrender of will that I always find intoxicating

I basically can't find stories that hit the way I want. There have been some but for me diapers were always, and will always be, a sexual obsession with not much relation to caregivers or regression. Being forced into diapers, humiliated, regressed, babied, sissified, etc... does nothing for me. What I want is stories about kids who finally act on their obsession with diapers during puberty when they can't help but cave to the desire for sexual exploration. I've been especially fixated on this image of being played with to orgasm during changes. Not in a deeply sensual way, but being strictly functional, all business. The dominant might laugh to a friend as I lay there, "I worry I might be spoiling her, but she's so much easier to deal with after she gets it all out", rotely stroking me as if there's nothing unusual about it. After this, instead of heading to their normal class, the kid gets sent to the nursery class and/or kindergarten, and gets treated like a baby that they are.
