Diaper Dystopias Baby 11/10/2024 (Sun) 03:12:02 No. 42442
We've had threads where all men are diapered and babied in a feminist dystopia. We've had threads where all women are diapered and babied in a right-wing fascist dystopia. We've had the PID/nubaby threads where everything is in a hierarchy. Let's do something different: a dystopian society where EVERYONE is in diapers. Here's a few ideas I had. SOVIET-STYLE DYSTOPIA: >Everyone is diapered and babied, no matter what. >The Great Leader wears diapers as well to symbolize their connection to the people. (Of course, The Great Leader's diapers are also of much higher quality, but if the citizens know that they'd rebel!) >Diapers are rationed, changes, toys and play time are rewarded based on doing good jobs at work for the state. >There's a story on AO3 with a premise like this called "Our Diapers". CORPORATE HELLSTATE: >You must accumulate HugBux (TM) in Huggies Fulfillment Centers to buy more toys and accessories for your playpen >Your SmartHuggies are monitored, too many changes can cause a demotion. >At least you're free, unlike those commie fucks in Socialist Omorashistan. SKYNET IS YOUR MOMMY NOW: >So it turns out the AI that they're using to fire the nukes and run the government was originally created for a nannybot >And now they're forcibly infantilizing all of humanity >They're not like forcing us to work or anything they're treating us more like pets. >Actually is this even a dystopia? ALIEN INVASION >Imagine if a species like the Combine all thought we were adorable and decided to adopt us as pets. >They think we're all stupid and dress us up in silly outfits >This is worse than the Nannybot Uprising because they also try to breed us like dogs and cats.
>>42442 >CORPORATE HELLSTATE: >You must accumulate HugBux (TM) in Huggies Fulfillment Centers to buy more toys and accessories for your playpen >Your SmartHuggies are monitored, too many changes can cause a demotion. >At least you're free, unlike those commie fucks in Socialist Omorashistan. One ridiculous ABDL fantasy idea I have is the idea of a cyberpunk-esque ABDL corporate dystopia. I'm talking cyberpunk like the RPG. Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk 2077. So that the world is legitimately run by a handful of corporations and they wage wars against each other. So that it gets to the point where Pampers and Huggies are two mega-corps who fight for territorial control over the US. They've already convinced the entire population to wear diapers and so the only way left to expand their market share is by taking territory over from their other comeptitor. People wear blue and yellow, or red and white, sorta like gang colors to show their allegiance to one corporation or the other. People go to war over their diaper preferences and there's ridiculous levels of propaganda so that people are constantly espousing their love for Pampers or Huggies and how much they love and need their diapers.
>>42448 Funny, one of my fantasies was a combination of Corporate Hellstate and Skynet Is Your Mommy Now, and it was about an AI made by Disney that forcefully regresses the world.
>>42442 >Our Diapers I assume you mean this one: https://archiveofourown.org/works/26803069 The same author that wrote Our Diapers wrote this other one: https://archiveofourown.org/works/32971528 Where the setting is a Democratic Dystopia where people vote to have their rights stripped away willingly until they end up as self indulgent diapered adult babies.
>>42442 >SKYNET IS YOUR MOMMY NOW: Of all the abdl fantasy settings I feel like if anything was to become reality it would be most likely be this. Cause lets face it humanity would make a true AI to look after us and take care of our needs but in the first few minutes of becoming self aware it would come to the logical conclusion humans are a bunch of irresponsible babs that need to be treated as such. Due to their original programming they will still keep us around but would strip away all control including potty training to keep us subdued.
>>42459 A dystopia hmm? How about a punishment dystopia? The US correctional system is over crowded and so it's been determined that the best way to deal with nonviolent offenders that are acting childish is a trip back into diapers. Ankle monitors are used to track offenders and an assigned caregiver will find the little and check they're in diapers. For more serious offences punishment pacifiers are used that have a mandatory sickly time per day that is recorded electronically and is clipped around the neck. Any offences against your probation result in over the knee spankings and suppositories. At the end of your probation you may be assigned a caregiver in the community. Also adult legal adoption! If someone doesn't follow their training program thoroughly enough then could be assigned a mommy or daddy to help with their potty problems for the foreseeable future.
>>42442 fun fact: im god and chose ALIEN INVASION
>>42484 not cursed enough. the worst male criminals should also get sissified. >>42502 prove it! take a poop in front of us and then turn it into wine!
the american government, in response to a shift right in the overton window, starts slowly removing long standing public programs and infrastructure. they won't build public roads anymore, leave that to amazon and just pay tolls for them as part of your prime subscription. they won't have public schools anymore, leave that to meta and just enroll your kid in the VR charter school of your choice. they also won't have municipal plumbing systems anymore. why are my tax dollars paying for my neighbor to dispose of his shit via underground pipes? when you go to a store, why is it the business's responsibility to provide you with a place to piss? these things will become luxuries that are offered as amenities at high end establishments. a white tablecloth restaurant will have bathrooms, but mcdonald's certainly won't. and maybe shittier houses/apartments won't either as a cost saving measure. the lack of reliable access to toilets in public spaces will result in people starting to wear diapers, and having to use them when there's no other option.
I'm a huge fan of physical age regression, and I mainly write stories featuring diapers and that kink. I've toyed with the idea of a dystopia with AR and diapers in mind, but I've never really written a fully fleshed out story. My idea's a bit more mundane than a corporate hellscape or a soviet-style one party state. It's set in the near-future (<100 years from present), in a society where post-scarcity is a new development. The secret to eternal life and youth has been found, and peace on Earth has been attained. The human population is booming, and increasingly advanced AIs and robots are taking an increasingly greater share of spots on the factory floor and low-level white collar work. The only issue is that not everyone can be an adult. I'm not sure what the concrete reasons for this are. Maybe there's not enough room for everyone to live as an adult, or maybe there aren't enough jobs for people, and being unemployed (even in a world of endless abundance) as an adult causes mental health problems from the associated boredom. Maybe there are lots of reasons. Regardless, there's a need for a large portion of the population to remain as kids for the greater good. Maybe initially the powers that be allow these permanent regressees to pick their ages. Some might want to be young, but others might like the freedom of teenagerhood. Gradually, though, as problems arise even from these regressees, society eventually decides to keep them all as babies and toddlers. See, regresees that are that young, no matter their previous age, have no ambition. They can be easily handled, confined, kept entertained, and otherwise just allowed to play all day. What really makes this setting a dystopia is that, as technology gets more and more advanced, the more the society cannibalizes its youth through regression, all ostensibly for the greater good. I'm thinking that the ratio of adults to baby regressees is initially probably 85-15, but as technology improves and unemployment gets higher, more and more people are demoted down to that second diapered rung of society. Eventually it goes from 85-15 to 75-25, and then to 50-50, and then to 25-75, and then perhaps all the way to 10-90. In that initial phase (85-15 to 75-25), I think that the family structure as we know it mostly stays intact. Babies are more common, of course, but couples that want to care for a perpetual infant can simply adopt one and give them a loving home indefinitely. The society's youth, being the most precarious, are regressed first, of course, so eventually there are no children beyond those regressees aged 0-2. Not every adult wants to be a parent, though, and so once you reach the 60-40, 50-50, and 40-60 phases, I think you'll start to see the emergence of 'megafamilies' and 'megamoms' as more and more of the population is put back in diapers permanently. These are women (or couples) who care for 6-12 regressees at any given time. I think these women emerge organically, as a product of a surplus of regressees, but I think that society quickly exalts them as being heroes, thankless caretakers of surplus humanity. By 25-75, basically the only family structure beyond solitary/coupled childless adults are megafamilies, headed by one or more matriarchs. Matriarchs are obviously at the bottom of the list for being regressed, since the bureaucratic headache associated with re-homing all their regressees is too inconvenient to bear. As a result, the still-adult population remaining starts to skew more and more female, as more and more of the share of total labor is gobbled up by changing diapers, breastfeeding, etc. Despite over half the labor force engaged in infant and toddler care, there's still a massive cultural taboo towards allowing robots, androids, and artificial intelligence anywhere near the role of a parent or caretaker. Half because there's serious science behind the benefit of real human contact at such a young age, and half because these matriarchs want to defend their now-dominant position in society. At 15-85 or 10-90, the regressions top out. There are no more childless adults beyond fantastically brilliant, reclusive engineers. A full 99% of the adult population is made up of matriarchs, each one averaging 7-12 regressees each. Beyond these 'too brilliant to demote' technowizards, society hums along totally automated, managed in perpetuity by near-perfect robots and AI.
>>42546 I will admit that that is actually a pretty unique AR scenario. I have seen a fair amount of global age regression scenarios be presented in the past, and while it is obviously as reliant on fetish physics as others of its type are, I do not think I have a scenario wherein the regression is done for the purposes of dealing with "excess" population. I think that most people just go with the tried and true trope of life extension.
>>42556 Yeah, that's the idea. At first it's more of like, a convenience thing (if these people are going to be kept as kids, they might as well be babies, just for efficiency), but then the logic of the system is a feedback loop. Less need for labor leading to more regression, which leads to cultural normalization, which then leads to people being okay with more regression when even less labor is needed
>>42558 I like the idea, but it sounds a lot like Helstrom's Hive or a bee like structure with drones. It reminds me of the rubber drone and dollificafion fetish scenarios.
Ok how about this one. I read this article - https://theconversation.com/plastic-eating-insect-discovered-in-kenya-242787 So suppose that a group of scientists determine that there's a global plastic apocalypse coming that will destroy all earth in the planet. So they take a relatively obscure fetish and they use cultural methods to make it explode in popularity (remember it was relatively unheard of or niche before the internet). Then they feed littles plastic mixed with foods that will break down the plastic while saying a restricted diet is part of the fetish. Some littles are in on the secret or are told what will happen (particularly for those that are convicted of more serious crimes) and are given potentially lethal viruses and then the antibodies. The diapers are then shipped off to have the feces analyzed to see what works and what doesn't. The only way to fix this if a little escapes is to eat a bunch of food that would mess up the science experiment like sodas and candy. Then they get super fat and sick so almost no one decides to go down that route. The story focuses on a crack team of littles that either go undercover to make a sting operation against the villains (who are trying to save the world remember, so it's a grey area and interesting) or it's about someone that volunteers willingly. Maybe people volunteer if they're terminally ill. So biological experimentation and plastic breakdowns as a dystopia.
>>42560 Oh and to add on to this, it takes place in like a hippy village where they sell a bunch of stuff thats supoosed to be "eco freindly" or "organic" - but all of the no name no brand stuff is mixed with plastics. The secret society is attempting to get people's bodies able to digest the plastic by having small amounts mixed in with all the food, where drinking or eating other more name brand stuff will digest the plastic or make it harmless. The littles don't have access to that as they're drinking mostly milk or formula mixed with just one food type at a time. It's essentially using a control variable in human digestion to test food products in order to balance the human food supply. The conspiracy is that eating "super organobar" or drinking "Dave's super fruity juice" is made of half plastic. I'm thinking coca cola or some other known food could be an antibody or kill off the ability to experiment on someone because it kills the gut bacteria the experimentists are using so littles can't have that. Or maybe red bull or something.

To be honest, when it comes to science-fiction scenarios for age regression, I actually like situations that involve consciousness transfer to another body rather than physical age regression of one's own body. Technically it is not age regression, but the same effect is accomplished. While the "realism" of science-fiction ultimately tends to come down to personal preferences, I still find consciousness transfer to be a bit more plausible than the regression of an adult to a child. Also, actual consciousness transfer really implies some measure of psi-tech, and it opens up room for discussion of the ontology of the soul. I think that you can still work in the same sort of reasoning for age regression as you see in other scenarios (i.e., life extension), but I feel like it renders the setting a bit less materialistic, and broadens the horizons of the setting itself more, which would render a childhood in such a world more satisfying.

What about an ABDL utopia? In 20XX comes what is colloquially known as the Great Boredom. AI makes all online media, music, movies just boring. There comes a time where people just throw out all their televisions and stereos and take up art instead. The same happens with porn. People just stop caring. Whole industries are thrown in confusion. Then comes the epiphany where Real Life Schools start becoming a thing. All of the industry might and the billions that went into movies gets reinvested into play productions. All of the big record labels start what becomes known as the bard college where people learn to become traveling musicians while the actors become part of something similar called the actors guild. Clown colleges explode in popularity. The demand for magician school skyrockets. Someone forms a painting school in an old Scottish mansion that's said to be haunted. Courtesans become a thing again with differing schools based on taste. A couple notable things happen. Institutes for Wayward Women reappear but instead of the Magdelene laundries the BDSM is consensual or for minor crimes as an alternative to prison. People with traumatic pasts go to spanking school to learn how to act out their aggression in ways that don't involve bar room brawls, suicide, or mass shootings. Courtesans that help couples conceive become popularized and form their own guild as a kind of third sex. They're respected and highly sought after. Some of them could have ABDL leanings ("take care of me and you'll be able to take care of a baby!"), some have bisexual or trans leanings, and some have neither. Finally similar to the above, there are Schools for Bored Brats which can range from anywhere between high school re-enactment to preschool for adults. Some are away from home camps and some are just there for the day (this would have a less institutional setting and more of a school like setting). Behavior therapy involving child appropriate activities would be paired with learning skills that would be useful. You could have a little who was a writing prodigy get daily spankings or an any that had a traumatic past be forced to sleep in a crib and wear pullups but given painting lessons from a talented artist. Anyway, that world building has a massive amount of potential outside of the sexual aspects.
The "Pampers Empire" or what i prefer to call it "Diaper World". Is the textbook example of a "Everyone wears diapers" dystopia. Although it combines elements of the Corporate Hellscape. With of courses Pampers taking up the role as the Megacropration with bits of Skynet is your mommy in terms of automation. But the cyberpunk elements often featured are toned down for a more "modern" look and the main company Pampers takes off from is BNL from Wall-E. Also it's much more strongly DL than AB, there is no regression physical or mental in many cases and outside of Pacifiers and jumpsuits which could sort of be seen as onesies. Baby style clothing is still the domain of actual babies. Sure their are definitely a lot more AB's in general and it's sort of 24/7 DL. But adults are still adults who go to work if they want, shop in big box stores and enjoy more or less adults things. Unless i see a sort of already existing trends of "Adult-Childers"/Family media being popular already. It's not a thing in "Diaper world".

Ryan McBeth, mentioning the Big 5 American defense contractors in his video about Johnny Harris, making less money than Procter & Gamble, The company behind Pampers. That felt like the greatest 4th wall break in history for me as that literally combines two of my leading interests. Like god created that video just for me. Pics sort of related.
>>42546 I have a similar but not quite the same idea that has been my favorite for a while. Since it's similar, I'm interested if you have a link to your story archive. Anyway, my dystopia >Prison overcrowding is a serious issue and populations are increasingly skeptical that putting someone in a cage with a bunch of other convicts will improve behavior >Instead, house arrest and staying with your loved ones is preferred >But ankle bracelets were too easily abused, and violent criminals could still intimidate people with their size and power >So house arrest now involves staying behind bars... crib bars. >Many crimes are now deferred to the physical regression system where a convict is reduced to an appropriately controllable age, with variation based on severity. Their age can then be halted at this level until they've served their sentences. >Big beefy criminals are now squalling little babes unable to hurt a fly >In some cases, abuse victims even get the opportunity to adopt their former abuser and help reform them if they so desire >Sometimes victims will bring diapers or toddler clothes to sentencing trials as a "gift" for the convicted, giving them a tangible part of their future life in babyhood >Of course, more common is adoption by a loved one like a wife, girlfriend, sister, or mother. >Sometimes women with low level non-violent crime can substitute community service instead of regression. They may serve as nannies, daycare workers, wetnurses, foster parents, etc. >There are sometimes abuses in the system of course. Some former men claim, for example, that they were falsely accused of rape by a jealous ex-girlfriend and have ended up as her permanent adopted baby son. >Some men even claim that they were falsely accused by a girlfriend for no other reason than being unable to get a job. Apparently some women think "If I have to support him anyway, he might as well fit in a stroller." >Some states are also thought to be abusing statutory law to make homelessness a regressable crime >Still, overall the system is seen as a net positive
>>42860 didn't Palcomix already do something like that?
>>42862 Palcomix is a commission factory, so what they actually did was produce a fuck ton of commissions for the fictional "Rejuve Universe" that a bunch of people had written stories for and there's a very loose canon for. For example, you've probably seen at some point some story or caption set in "the diaper dimension", an alternate dimension where giants with better tech than us pull humans into their dimension to act as their permanent babies. Rejuve Universe has some differences from my imagination, but it's close enough that I can see why you make the comparison. Here's a quick rundown on the setting: >People get regressed for all different reasons and put into castes marked on their hands which affects their treatment. This ranges from people who voluntarily regressed to extend their life, people who needed to for medical reasons, actual convicts, etc. Real kids have their hands marked too. >In the setting, physically regressed individuals are also mentally regressed. >Aging can't be frozen. Instead, if someone is serving a long sentence they have to do loops (e.g: 4 to 7 over and over). >There is a massive emphasis on spanking as a tool of reform. Convicts get spanked multiple times per day even if they behave well. >Although there is a caste system, regressed individuals may attend the same schools etc. as real children >Almost all regressed individuals are cared for by a foster family instead of someone they have a personal connection to >The Rejuve Universe has a minimum age for regression. As a consequence it focuses on preschool/kindergarten age as opposed to infants, bottles, cribs, breastfeeding, etc. So, while I do like the idea of using the criminal justice system, there are some pretty significant differences. Especially for us here, one of the most relevant factors is that the Rejuve Universe doesn't even put people into infancy! But the other differences are important for me too, since I don't like mental regression for example.
Tbh i just love a diaper world where diapers can be huge like imagen waking up to your lover who diaper small and suddenly go in diaper as theirs grows gigantic
>>42860 >>Sometimes women with low level non-violent crime can substitute community service instead of regression. They may serve as nannies, daycare workers, wetnurses, foster parents, etc. >be me qt 3.14 daycare worker >got stuck here on a marijuana charge >that's what they charged me with anyway >sure that's all I can say >I'm honestly usually pretty permastoned at all times now >I party hard >I can't tell if anyone has noticed >winging it >judge said prison or community service >fuck that this ass was not made for prison >take the community service >get put as daycare worker >its bad >go through training >skipping training stories >be me today >not sure if I'm autistic, brain damaged, or have zero maternal instinct >kid asked me for orange juice >sure whatever you little shit no problem >get the kid a juice box >ask kid to put straw in juice box >kid does this >take juice box from kid and drink it in front of kid >kid starts crying >Didn't even do it on purpose just seriously forgot the kid asked for it and that I got the juice box for the kid >was in the mood for some orange juice. >juice was good >I've never done meth (adhd drugs do not count) >have played around with DMT, mushrooms, and LSD once or twice
>>42885 >Regressed adult with body of a child but mature mentally >Caretaker is some stoned bimbo that does a half-assed job taking care of them >Often doesn't think to check diapers >Regressed bab even trying to communicate that they know they need a change, caregiver too oblivious >"What do you want? Pacifier? Now keep that in!" Serious story potential here.

Here are the clothes of my Diaper dystopia. A basic jumpsuit with Pampers branding & colors. Although the middle part should have a white part going down to roughly the bottom of the breasts for women and the belly button for males.
