So this is a follow-up from last thread with trying to get any of the UIs loaded on Windows 7. For the full story, you can read them here: >>1057266 >>1057609 >>1057623 >>1057972 >>1058218 So I'll cut right to the chase that these are the issues I'm experiencing: >OSError: [WinError 126] The specified module could not be found. Error loading "C:\Users\(My Profile)\Desktop\sd\venv\Lib\site-packages\torch\lib\c10_cuda.dll" or one of it's dependencies This is the part where I'm largely stuck. Trying to find out where the problem is, I downloaded this program called "Dependency Walker": https://www.dependencywalker.com/ <And plugged in the c10_cuda.dll file, with first image listing where the problem is. And this is the problem that I'm having with Stable Diffusion, reForge, and Easy Diffusion (Though Easy is fussing over a different file, instead it's "cudart64_110.dll"). I did find a source stating that the problem can be solved by downloading the specific DLL files that are "missing/problematic", but it also said that it needs the files to be in the folder of the relevant program or it will cause system-wide issues: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/412661-TMPGenc-Authoring-Works-7-on-Windows-7 And I do not know where I could "safely" download these files nor where I should put them. And in case anyone is wondering, no, these files having nothing to do with Windows 10 or 11 and me being SOL. These were APIs released with Windows 8 and 8.1: https://archive.md/OxEuY https://archive.md/ggiVI https://archive.md/GWilL So I decided to move on and try other UIs. My experience with Comfy gave my this error: >python.exe - Entry Point Not Found: The procedure entry point PssQuerySnapshit could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL However unlike SD/reF/ED, I don't know what file I'm looking for in regards modifying it so it will use Cpython instead. The only other UI I've tried is qDiffusion, which refuses to move beyond requiring me to install Pillow and k_Diffusion. Whenever I load it up, the installer requires me to install one of the two plugins, I wait for it to finish, close the installer once it's finished, and re-open the program to find that it now "needs" to install the other plugin. And it never moving beyond this point unless I disable "Enforce versions?", which creates the error that you see in the third image. Until this thread was created, I tried asking some Anons over on PLW for suggestions, and here's some advice that I received: <If you can't get pip, try using Pipx. https://github.com/pypa/pipx <And easy way to change python versions is to use Pyenv. https://github.com/pyenv/pyenv <Here's another thing you can try. Delete the python file in the venv folder of your UI. It actually fixed a problem I had before. I managed to get Pipx installed, but I have zero clue how to use it in relation to any of the UIs.

One for a major anniversary of something I think it reasonably popular here, and an SKS/Type 56 for the Civitai contest (because I had it on the maybe pile and someone did a Remington 870 LoRA confirming Illustrious isn't horrible at making specific guns with training).

>>5661 Fucking FINALLY making some progress. Gave up on trying to figure out how I can use Pipx for the moment. Right now trying to get Comfy to function. So in the run BAT files, I finally figured out to replace ".\python_embeded\python.exe" with the directory to Cpython. Right now in the process of figuring out what special plugins I need to install in order to get things to function, from pyyaml to einops. Right, now the only "non-standard" installs I've had to do was as follows: <pip install torch2.2.0 torchvision0.17.0 torchaudio==2.2.0 <pip install safetensors==0.4.2 Now the parts that I'm stuck on is that if I run the Nvidia BAT, I encounter this error: >AssertionError: Torch not compiled with CUDA enabled But the CPU BAT bypasses that and encounters a different error: >DLL load failed while importing tokenizers Currently waiting on tensorrts to finish installing and see if that fixes the issue with the CPU BAT: <pip install tensorrt-cu12 tensorrt-cu12_bindings tensorrt-cu12_libs The one thing I'm learning from all of this is that the people who made these programs and UIs are absolute retards. Who programs software in such a manner that (1) you have to download everything from the net in order for it to function and (2) never include any of the important files/plug-ins/programs with your software so that it can be loaded on practically anything? Yes, I know that I'm mostly having to build this shit from scratch because I'm using Cpython instead of the pre-baked versions included with any of the UIs, but the ONLY reason why I have to start from scratch is that the files/plug-ins/programs that I need to run this shit are not included with any of the pre-baked versions.
>>5671 >>DLL load failed while importing tokenizers Fixed with: <pip install tokenizers-0.19.1 transformers-4.43.0 And it's working! At the moment, the only "remaining" issues is that my system is declaring that avutil-58.dll, avutil-57.dll, and avutil-56.dll are all missing. <Never mind, another issue Also, it looks like I cannot run the UIs using my GPU as the driver version I have installed is 456.71, and it's not support by NVidia: https://docs.nvidia.com/deploy/cuda-compatibility/index.html#use-the-right-compat-package <Branches R525, R515, R510, R465, R460, R455, R450, R440, R418, R410, R396, R390 are end of life and are not supported targets for compatibility. And I'm hesitant to update as I had fun with AMD drivers years ago, where the latest drivers always, with zero exceptions, caused my CPU to crawl or have other issues.
>>5671 >>5672 Never never mind, it worked. Had to downgrade Numpy to 1.26.4, and downgraded Safetensors to 0.4.1 just in case. Now to see how the model treats Ponydiffusion.

Or is there a way to speed up the process without worrying about setting my computer on fire, or seriously damaging the hardware running it at "100%". >>5674 Anon, I honestly don't know WHAT I did half the time, aside from install modules that were listed as "missing". The only exceptions being what I already listed. Also, I don't think this is worth a guide yet when there's still the "missing DLL" issue that could be causing who knows what problems that I don't know about yet. And I want to see if I can install a version of Torch actually compatible with my GPU so that I can offload much of the process.

>>5675 If you could work through the issues to get Forge or ReForge working, generating is faster & they have flags that can be enabled for even more speed. I had an issue where if I used LoRAs I would sometimes, but not always, hit against memory limits causing it to take several years to generate anything. Normally it takes seconds. I'd enabled a few flags like --cuda-malloc & --cuda-stream for more speed, but on startup ReForge also recommended --pin-shared-memory although their readme warns that running OOM (out-of-memory) will lead to a crash when --pin-shared-memory is enabled. I took the risk to see if it helped & IT DID. I have --pin-shared-memory enabled now & I don't run into that issue with using LoRAs anymore. Also note that I never had memory issues on Pony XL, only when I started using an Illustrious XL checkpoint with Illustrious LoRAs did this start happening sometimes. All I had to do was enable one flag to fix it & despite warnings about that flag I haven't had any crashes yet.

Seems the model doesn't know Selene from Dragon's Dogma (or just not very well). I tried to get it similar enough, but also had to edit in & inpaint the pinwheel medallion every time. I like the Berserk one as Dragon's Dogma took inspiration from Berserk so it fits well.

>>5704 I re-installed the game, loaded up a save file from 2016. Save was post-dragon so sky was dark & lighting sucked, too dark. Had one earlier save when Selene SHOULD be in Cassardis, but she isn't since Grigori took her away by then. Had to unpack, edit & repack the later 2016 save file to change the "mIsDarknessWorld" flag to false just to get a normal sky with bright lighting for screenshots. Needed to use ReShade & ENB at the same time because ENB can hide the HUD entirely while ReShade has a ChromaKey thing that can cover the background (mostly, still have to edit out shit). After getting it all together I rediscovered that there is no FreeCam in camera mode. You can only hide your player character & rotate around where they are. It sucks for getting screenshots of anyone but the player. Also if your player character is tall it's difficult to get on eye level with any NPC. Another issue is that ChromaKey doesn't work with hair transparency. Any transparent part of hair has sky, walls or terrain in it that the ChromaKey geometry doesn't hide. I really don't know how usable any of it is, but I have over 50 screenshots. Pretty sure the hair transparency shit ruins it. Whole point of using ReShade ChomaKey was to make it much lower effort to separate character from background, yet there's still bits of background in the hair. Regardless, I don't feel like tagging & training all this since dicking around to get the screenshots was hard enough already.

>>5712 Naw. Girls don't wear pants around the house, anon. Maybe pajama pants in winter, but some don't even do that. >>5713 I can imagine that being true but it's more boring.
>>5713 >>5714 **The picture is still inaccurate because she is wearing panties. Real girls don't wear pants or panties. >>5738 The hair being different (and behaving differently) is the highlight of this. I can tell they chose Severance for the testbed because the backgrounds are all so sterile.
Has anyone gone through the effort of training an AI to produce sprite set/sheets yet? Would be cool to do with something like Doom or Duke 3d just to make more natural templates and variants that could be polished up or thrown into the games without having to frankensprite things together to look "right". Would also be cool to see it done with something like any of the 2D fighting games (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, King of Fighters, etc) just to see what sort or crazy shit it would spit out.
>>5742 There's a few. It's doable, it mostly works, but you need an extension to get proper results and its generally not worth it because you'll only ever get a single, fixed, image without concern for how it would function as a multi-posed entity.
Made some Lains. >>5732 I genned some images for your request, but the loras bleed a lot into one another so I still need to pick the better images, fix things and do some editing. As promised, a double feature First up is a port of my model for making the Asticassia School of Technology uniform for Illustrious. The base model sorta knows this one since it's a trained on a dump a bit newer than PDXL's training is based on, but the number of undistinguished variants in that dataset confuse it and it makes everyone into the show's main character as a side effect. https://civitai.com/models/1156360?modelVersionId=1300571 The more daring is an experiment I made with extremely limited dataset (literally just pics from 20 seconds of footage+one still) because I was curious just how limited a dataset I could scrap by with for a clothing LoRA if flip augmentation was enabled. Came out better than I expected, though I've yet to solve the lighting that piggybacks onto it (if I can find something to add to the data that stops it from bleeding in I'll port it to PDXL). https://civitai.com/models/1153595?modelVersionId=1297564
>>5745 Also if anyone has second and fourth image in the sequence of 7 shown her it would be helpful for further iteration and PDXL version. I, obviously, have never actually played the ero mahjong game the training data is from (there's more ero mahjong games than people outside of Asia who know how to play mahjong) and just got the cutscene+third still off a Booru.

What would you consider best practice when embedding metadata in files that you've inpainted, upscaled, or otherwise modified? Would it be better to copy the original prompt that made the base image onto the final edit, or just keep whatever your final inpaint/upscale embeds without editing it? I'm leaning toward copying the base image's metadata onto the final result so that it's at least theoretically possible for someone else to generate the unedited version, since just dumping the parameters attached to an inpainted upscale into your generator without the edited init image would give something wildly different, especially if the seed was changed. In the end it doesn't really matter but it's triggering my autism and I'd appreciate some thoughts on it

>>5792 I'd argue it's worse in some ways, but apparently the big deal is how performant it is. It's based on DeepSeek-R1 which is reportedly much lighter.
>>5790 >>5793 Getting an original character to appear consistent between generations is kinda a mess. You need to either have the character built in (only the most popular characters like Miku, Touhous and Evas will count for this) or train a character LoRA. Both of which are non-viable for making an original character, and that's even before getting into contamination from other LoRAs. Here's one creator's (fairly detailed) prompt with five different style LoRAs (the contamination is particularly bad here due to the brute force method of style creation the author uses, but the point still stands). Consistent posing is pretty easy with ControlNet. You can freely pose the resulting characters with some skeletons. >is there a tip to use references? As in reference images? That's image to image or (if you've got 20+ consistent but non-identical ones) training a LoRA.

>>5803 >mass screencaps >not online pictures. Your point is correct, but I think you're expressing it wrong. And besides, he said stealing data, not the art itself, so he's not exactly claiming the AI is plagiarizing in the same way most retards do. The AI does indeed use a ton of data.

Research and teaching are, explicitly, exempted and it never says it has to be teaching humans. It's a clear yes on the amount/substantiality test (nothing is stored or reproduced and it would be physically impossible for it to be otherwise, since it would require cramming hundreds of millions of images into less than 10 GB), and the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work ("the market is more crowded" is not a real impact for this, otherwise nothing would pass it) and even arguable on the nature of the work when related to what the model actually uses (the fundamental characteristics of a style or object is non-fiction, especially in the mass of angles and shapes models actually use). >>5801 >>5803 >>5805 I'd like to note the copyright status on most AI models is unclear, but likely very illegal. Researchers seemed to know this to some extent because many training databases didn't directly give you the images, they gave you millions of hyperlinks to download yourself with a batch file. There are a lot of lawsuits going on, mostly involving OpenAI, and I don't foresee them going in their favor. Understand that regardless of your personal feelings or views on the law, courts usually side with IP holders. American courts especially. Copyright and IP are dogmatically protected.
>>5801 >no clue at all Looks like Bleach but I can't place where on Kubo's style development it actually stands.
>>5807 No, they don't give you the images because distributing images in whole you don't own is definitely illegal, but linking to publicly hosted images on the internet isn't. >There are a lot of lawsuits going on, mostly involving OpenAI, and I don't foresee them going in their favor The one lawsuit over this I'm aware of was tossed out because the people bringing the suit had no idea what they were talking about and the judge, surprisingly, had the basic technical competence to understand that the size of the models is insufficient to actually be distributing the data
>>5807 >>5809 Whether the training of AI models is made illegal or not, the output of AI models (especially existing ones) will be copyrightable in some manner in a way that benefits corps. It just saves too much money for it to be outright made as a derivative of the scanned works and thus copyright infringement. I don't think its likely the models themselves will be made illegal for similar reasons. Too much money for, not enough against. Is there even (ongoing) cases regarding the models themselves?
>>5810 What everyone misses over the one ruling is it wasn't about the copyright eligibility of AI images, it was about if the computer could hold the copyright, which is a straightforward "no" in law.

>>5748 What do you use to clean noise? It's becoming a pain in the ass with inpaiting that the images get noisier and noisier.
>>5827 Surface Blur in Photoshop can clean off general noise, but can also wipe out details that may need to be added back in using a mask of the original image. It's a quick way of doing it that isn't perfect & may even cause lines to lose smoothness, but for a 2D style image it's a relatively low-effort fix. I've had the opposite problem with inpainting noise when I use a LoRA that introduces noise as part of the art style. In those cases, if you inpaint anything on the upscaled image, that area winds up with finer noise grain & you have inpaint everything else or it won't match.
I've gone and converted+scheduled my next 7 days of LoRA (max Civitai will accept scheduled posts for), which means I'm actually in site of finishing (last conversion should up up on 18th barring some new setback/obstacle). >>5854 for now your best option is using a website like Tensor.art or Civitai, both are credit based but they are pretty easy to get, here's my recommendation if you want to get the most out of your credits, >Use TensorArt: https://tensor.art?source_id=njexo13lkke1pvAuan318BEk >You get 50 credits that refresh each day at 5am >Select the checkpoint FLUX Fusion V2 >set steps to 4 as well as CFG to 4 >average prompt will cost 0.4 credits no matter the size of the image Use website on PC as it's the most intuitive version of the tool. Clould stuff has been a bit of a complicated thing since 2023, google realized a bunch of people were using the generous free tier of colab for multiple AI models that included webUIs so they limited that, now you have to pay for units and since then the cloud Stable Diffusion scene pretty much died
>>5855 I asked because i wanted to use this one >>5841 but seems like there is no option to do it on Civitai so i might just try something else instead.
>>5856 pretty weird, I have seen completely new models being usable on the online generator day 1 on civitai and this is a pretty popular anime model. I guess you could try downloading the model and then hosting it on Tensor, a bit unethical and not sure how long it would take the checkpoint to be ready on Tensor as I have seen newly added models take from a few hours to a few days but If you really want to try out that model without spending any money, it's probably the best way to it.
>>5857 I wouldn't mind spending a bit of money if necessary, but a few days is not a big deal, i can just test others while i wait.
>>5857 Civitai allows any LoRA (or variant) of supported base models to be used for on-site generation, but only subscribers can enable checkpoints (probably because they're comparatively huge and relatively easy to hide bad stuff in). >>5855 I'm interested in knowing other model hosts for my many models if anyone has any requests. He could have at least done something like a crowdfunding thing for a legal fund which wouldn't have monetized his project, and shouldn't have compromised his principles in theory. Good on him for what he did, and he no doubt contributed to AI's future in a positive and significant way. But he could have had and done so much more if he just took a smarter approach to things. >>5881 >didn't even open source his shit without model data Pathetic >>5880 >Anyone ever took that to its limits? Ideally, I wish to generate nude filters and/or style accurate images complete with film grain. In other words, fake screenshots. I know it's possible judging by pics related but fuck me if I can pull it off. I barely dipped my toes with NovelAI and it seems to have the Pokemon anime (classic) almost to a T, but little else. I suspect anything much more specific requires spending God knows how many hours or days training or however it works. Film grain is already done for realistic: There's not just existing tools for it, but they've developed far enough to imitate very specific camera and film combinations. Grain on the photographed celluloid of anime is a bit trickier. Since SD and SD based models (XL, Pony, Illustrious) learn off edge cutoffs and the "depth" they create more than raw color it doesn’t learn fine texture or complex, specific, patterns like this even when its present in all training data. Normally this is actually a good thing, since it means you can feed it some really horrific jpeged sub 240p crap from a Saturn disc and get it to understand the character with minimal to no artifacts (pics related being the kind of training data I had to use for most of the LoRA and the output of finished character model. Notice how it can't figure out the squiggly line on the dress, or the jacket pockets too well with the limited data I had to work it.). Still, I know it’s possible to teach very specific color hues (and not come out with a flat colored mess) and patterns (e.g. on clothing) so I’d imagine it’s possible if you really want it specifically and are willing to teach it specifically, and I'm absolutely sure you could make some kind of bespoke model to add grain artifacts, but it’s beyond my ability. >Anyone ever took that to its limits? With proper tools (i.e., local generation with fully featured generator) the limits are, like most* art, infinite or effectively so. The question ultimately comes down to how much you’re willing to spend on perfecting an individual image. Just getting a pretty good facsimile of a style isn’t hard if you have data in good quality. For a style that can generate essentially everything well, you need a hundred something “distinct” images (ideally selected to avoid QUALITY), more is better, of varied subjects. Styles with “locked” framing and/or subject (such as video game portraits, which only need to show human heads) can get away with considerably fewer images, but will be pretty bad outside that focus. With those images, you just need to tag them and apply as many valid booru tags as possible (with absurdly high images, like every few seconds of an anime, you can brute force it and let a machine tag it, though this can cause some artifacts). The actual training for the LoRA is only going to be sub 2 hours for all but the largest shenanigans (at least, for online generation with rented/provided trainer. Civitai basically lets you get one for "free" every other day if you do some basic engagement on site. There's a few extra features with local training, but .). Flux can apparently learn styles pretty well and flexibly from less than a dozen images, but it both has a shit license and lacks the fine control tools of the SD family. *Some mediums have very specific limitations that give them humanly appreciable finality. For example the original GameBoy could “only” produce 92,160 possible different images with its 160 by 144 resolution and 4 “colors”.
Forgot to mention there's also the fact that a lot of styles have already been trained by other people are free to use.

Can't find all the cartoony LoRAs I had on Pony for Illustrious, but I'm grabbing some cartoony styles to rebuild my collection. https://civitai.com/models/1227157/rubberhose-style-illustrious-by-leaf v-tan is impossible to get entirely right. Danbooru tags do nothing & prompting only goes so far. So I had to edit & inpaint a lot. Also noticed some style LoRAs like FLCL refuse to make stripes correctly on a hoodie. Some styles can still do the stripes, but not green & purple stripes, so I have to modify in photoshop to get the colors. Some things require too many edits & become very time consuming.

I wanted to try working on Onirism's Carol, because the only model for her is a pretty bad Pony one. Anyone have some favorite costumes I should try to include? What Illustrious doesn't seem to like compared to Pony is pure realistic training data (even when tagged). According to NHK, when the broadcast reported on China’s reaction, an employee noticed that some of the Chinese subtitles showed “Diaoyu Islands in Okinawa Prefecture” and “Japan controls the Diaoyu Islands.” <According to the broadcaster, the error was caused by an instant automatic translation system that uses Google’s artificial intelligence. >>5943 For me, refining and upscaling is 90% of the process of making a pic so I would be very long and difficult to explain. It's the kind of thing that you'd want a video tutorial for, instead of just an explanation. It also depends on what you're using to generate your pics. For example I'm using Forge and I installed an extension script to do my basic upscaling. My settings are on pic 4 (that's the Img2Img tab btw), the sampler I have set is Euler a. The extension can be found here: https://github.com/Coyote-A/ultimate-upscale-for-automatic1111 That will generate my basic upscale, then I will further refine the pic with inpainting. Sometimes I will upscale the whole pic to 2x again with a lower denoising strength (0.15 - 0.17) and then pick and choose which parts of the pic to keep, using a soft eraser in Krita to delete the unwanted parts.

>>5910 Tried out Ollama with deepseek, it's cool that it still runs offline when I turned off the networking. Even cooler that it got some trivia questions I threw at it correctly with the exception of one. It has a strange way of thinking. Posting my excerpts. Greentexts are its <think> actions before giving out the response, which will be put in pink text Question 1: What color is Sonic the Hedgehog? >Okay, so the user just asked me about the color of Sonic the Hedgehog. I remember that Sonic has a distinctive appearance, but I'm not exactly sure if he's blue or red. Let me think this through step by step. >First, I know Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the main characters from the Sonic the Legacy series. He's known for his speed and his unique features. I've seen many images of him in various media, like games and anime adaptations. From what I recall, he usually has a red color scheme in most official visuals. >Wait, but I'm not 100% sure if that's always the case. Some versions or adaptations might use different colors to represent different characters or themes. For example, Tails is yellow, Knuckles is pink, and Amy is green. So, Sonic himself should have a color that stands out against these others. >In most cases, I think he's blue because it contrasts well with the red of Tails and the pink of Knuckles. The blue also makes him look more hedgehog-like, which aligns with his name. Additionally, in many official art styles, Sonic has a sleek, almost metallic appearance that often comes in shades like dark blue or cyan. >But I'm not entirely certain if there's any variation where he might be red instead of blue. Maybe in some promotional materials or specific game versions? To be thorough, I should consider different aspects: >1. Official Visuals: Most official depictions of Sonic show him as blue. >2. Promotional Art: Some promotional images might vary slightly, but they often stick to the standard blue color. >3. Adaptations: In anime or movie versions, Sonic is still depicted in a similar blue tone. >Given this, it's reasonable to conclude that Sonic the Hedgehog is typically perceived as blue in official and widely circulated depictions. >So, putting it all together, I can confidently say that Sonic the Hedgehog is usually blue based on his standard appearances across various media. <Based on my knowledge of Sonic the Hedgehog's appearances across various media, including games, anime adaptations, and promotional art, he is typically depicted in a dark blue color scheme. This color choice helps him stand out against other characters like Tails (red), Knuckles (pink), and Amy (green). The blue tone also evokes a hedgehog-like appearance, enhancing his iconic status. <Answer: Sonic the Hedgehog is usually perceived as having a dark blue color in official and widely circulated depictions. Question 2 was asking what Sega's last video game console was before they stopped making them in 2001 and it answered PSX (PlayStation Express.) Nothing too interesting to post as it was being stupid. Question 3: Before the Sega Dreamcast, there was a console SEGA made to compete with the Sony PlayStation 1 & Nintendo 64. It was named after one of the planets of the Solar System, what planet was it? >Okay, so I need to answer the user's question about a previous SEGA console before the Dreamcast that competes with the Sony PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64. The hint is that it was named after a planet in the solar system. >First, I remember that SEGA had a console line called the Sega Saturn. It was released in 2001, just like the PSX from SEGA and the PlayStation 1 from Sony. Both the Saturn and PSX were successors to the Sega Genesis, which was one of their earlier games. >But wait, wasn't there also a console called the Sega Dreamcast? The user mentioned that it was before the Dreamcast, so maybe I'm confusing the names. Let me think again. >No, actually, the Sega Saturn came after the Dreamcast but still served as competition against Sony's PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64. Since the Saturn is named after a planet in the solar system, specifically Saturn itself, that must be the answer. <The console SEGA made before the Sega Dreamcast to compete with the Sony PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64 was the Sega Saturn. It was released in 2001 alongside the PSX (PlayStation Express) from SEGA and the PlayStation 1 from Sony Interactive Entertainment. <But wait, the user mentioned that it was before the Sega Dreamcast, so I might have been confused earlier. Actually, the Sega Saturn came after the Dreamcast but still served as competition against Sony's PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64. The Saturn is indeed named after a planet in the solar system: Saturn itself. <So, to correct myself, the answer is Saturn!

LoRA + Tags Tags for Art Style: (artist:incase, artist:alex_ahad:0.5), <lora:Disney_Silver_Age_Style:0.8>, disneysilverage, Disney Silver Age LoRA + BetterDays checkpoint Impressions so far: Seems the LoRA makes her thicker. I have slender legs in prompt, but also thick ass so it could be a struggle between those tags, but at least in these test examples so far when the LoRA is active on it's own without the natively-known vivian_james tag, Vivian's legs get thicker. So it appears that the Vivian the model knows is skinnier than the Vivian the LoRA knows. The green ribbon is very hit & miss. Could be the shit I'm mixing with it, but it often draws only one loop - half of the overall ribbon, or has part of the ribbon disappear behind her head or hairband instead of connecting with the center knot. Weird behaviors with the ribbon. Triggering the ribbon also has an unfortunate side effect of the A.I. wanting to mess with the strings on her hoodie. On the upside. The stripes are perhaps more consistent. Unsure, but seems like using the native tags for the character + the LoRA at the same time might help things since it is combining the native knowledge in the model with the additional training data in the LoRA. Like you're telling the model "Do this, but also do this MORE." & with enough training data, surely it'll have more success. I've done this before with American McGee's Alice while trying to get her outfit: used natively-known character tag in combination with extra data from a LoRA.
>>5956 To be a true test, you'd want to test just the LoRA without the native knowledge.

Training a style LoRA, are 106 images too much? will it be over trained?
>>5966 >Snake That reminds me, years ago I saw an early model that had been trained on the artwork of Shinkawa Youji and was able to make some pretty impressive "what if" variants for other video game franchises. I've always loved his work. The sharp lines, the watercolors, and the suggestion of faces rather than their definition. I wonder if a modern backend could do even more of them.
>>5967 Image requirements for styles is underdocumented (and it likely varies by the style type), but as long as your training images are mostly unique, the point of "too much" for a style is likely past 1K (if it even exists). If anything, over 100 images is recommended for styles.
>>5968 There's Shinkawa Youji models for Illustrious and Flux, so you can just try it.
Just started training another obscure girl I'm certain virtually no one in the west as heard of and even the relatively few in Japan who have heard of it only know it by its strange reputation that actually experiencing it firsthand. This is totally going to get downloaded by loads of people!

It kept making his hair too long & struggled to make his shoes right. I went with an upper body shot regardless.
Discovered (bright green grid wall, bright green grid floor, black background) produces a type of background I wanted, but too inconsistent. Stays on the eventually list for LoRAs I want to do if nobody else does. >>5972 With how most training data is framed, how poor/broad tagging is for footwear, and being the place where artists tend to deviate the most, shoes being wrong for a character is a surprisingly universal issue. It's so common I actually wrote an article analyzing it. https://civitai.com/articles/9717/using-shoes-to-determine-needed-number-of-images-for-a-lora >>5971 Should clarify this is not the big project I'm working on. Just something I had the training data for and had a spare hour and a half to clear+tag (I wasn't focused on it at all, so that was way more than it would actually take). Came out nicely, though I think that her default outfit is so generic that even if you knew the source material you might not immediately recognize her.
>>5962 That looks really nice. Just out of curiosity, how many pictures do you have in your dataset for each outfit, more or less?

>>5974 >9 (winter, mainly there to get hair style) >9 (asocial kitty. Couldn't get many pics of this without clipping issues) >11 (French) >12 (Pyjama) >13 (Hoodie, benefited from a few promotional shots that were higher quality than I could do with just in-game controls. Pics related.) >22 (Skater, got most 2D art too, still can't get skull non-generic despite appearing it a lot of those) Numbers were mainly because of what I could capture while remaining unique by taking different angles I could describe in tags. Skater got some gun poses, but the sheer amount of her body that guns cover make it impractical for other costumes, but I decided I'd treat it as the primary costume due to 2D art). Doing the research for the article linked in >>5973 taught me that basic, heavily tagged, outfit parts can do with that few and it's really the face and body that need 20+ to get right. So far that seems accurate, with the main parts I see giving trouble being >I need to specify low ponytail to get accurate ponytail despite not tagging in training (but works fine if I do) >skater's necklace (despite being visible in a lot of pictures, it's too small a detail in most to be well trained) >skater and hoodie's skull (becomes random generic skull) >bunny print on pyjama collar (never expected that one to work well) >coloring of French Touch's hose likes to stray into red more than I'd like >bunbun's button eyes and patches Some of these I think can be fixed with a bit more data/tags focusing on them, all relatively minor

Speaking of mugshots. I didn't get any new big images done because I was generating character thumbnails, Been using the styles drop-down in reForge Stable Diffusion WebUI for character prompts, but it was getting very cluttered. If I edited the CSV file it uses in another application it stops recognizing the file & wipes everything so I couldn't even alphabetize it. I finally had enough & searched the extensions page for something better. I found the Stylez extension does what I'm after & could import all the junk I already had in the existing styles drop-down menu. Not only does it alphabetize, but also uses separate folders for categories, can use thumbnails & it has a search function. So I had 30 character prompts that are mostly recognized by the BetterDays checkpoint with a few exceptions. Now in the WebUI I have these 30 character thumbnails I can click on to insert prompts for these characters which is nicer than the cluttered drop-down I was using before. I think I used (artist:gerph:0.5) & flat colors tags for the art style. Prompted to do a simple gray background, but the AI has some wildly different ideas about what that means between gens. I was considering zipping all the JSON files & thumbnails for these character prompts to share here, but I don't think my prompts are good enough on all of them. Some still need work. I dunno if anyone else uses that extension. It's not made for ComfyUI AFAIK so only works on A111 & its derivatives like reForge.

>>5984 It's fun to mess with when I have the time.
>>5988 How are these such high quality?
>>5989 im also wondering this, >>5988 do you upscale them after genning them? do you natively gen them as jpg at that res?
>>5989 Time, effort, photoshop, inpainting, fixing a lot of minor things. Styles with complex shading are harder to clean up. That Disney animation style is simpler, with no shading & some sketchy bits / hatching here & there, so it can be a little rough & still look good, but I still try to clean it up a lot. >>5990 These are far from native gens. I do a lot with them & it takes a while. I've mentioned in past threads, after final upscale I crop a portion, usually the face, & inpaint to make it as clean as possible, then place that cropped portion back into the full image. With a better GPU I wouldn't need to do it that way, but regardless, faces usually have thinner / cleaner lines because I've done that. I don't always do it. Sometimes inpainting the 1st upscale is enough. I do 2 upscales. 1st is hi-res upscale in TXT2IMG, then a ton of inpainting, then the 2nd final upscale in IMG2IMG tab using SD Upscale. May alternatively do a regular upscale in Extras tab when SD Upscale is doing stupid shit & I don't feel like taking the time to combine its successes to mitigate its failures as each tiled upscale is time-consuming. I fine-tune a lot in Photoshop. Fuck with color balance, vibrance / saturation, curves, apply minor sharpening & soft overlay filters to doll them up. I add grain & a subtle halftone pattern to dither gradients & obscure artifacts. Very minor chromatic aberration, not overkill. I tweak skintones, but my display is not a good representation of what other people are seeing so hopefully skintones look decent. Could go into specific photoshop actions I use, but dunno how many people use it for this & I've heard actions are fickle about PS versions anyway.
First new LoRA in a while: Amy Rose outfit. Was once curious if this could be done with tags or a general Amy LoRA alone due to seeing something else I don't remember. It was not so it went on my maybe list. Had some free time so I decided to crank it out. Vivan was actually going to be today, but I brought her forward to account for >>5938 so the then newest work was slotted into her former place. I'm curious how popular this will be since it's from media the average person will actually recognize. https://civitai.com/models/1251451/il-amy-rose-outfit Big project wound up with over 200 images, over half of which are now tagged (it's easier to tag characters than styles due to consistency in tags. Just copy-paste a list of outfit tags, clear the non-applicable, and add a few for the background/poses.). Hope I can throw it into training tomorrow and have it release on 25th.

I am a epic noob to this and I've been trying to figure this out all night. I am on a fresh install of the Automatic1111 webui and got a bunch of stuff from Civit. So I'm off to the races, right? Well I try to make shit and it ranges from pretty alright with noticeable fuckups to monstrous blobs. I've read a bunch of stuff from the pastebin and such and I'm fairly confident I've not fucked up installing or anything. If I copy the generation data and such from a picture on Civit I can sometimes get it to a workable state, or flat out copy the picture using the seed. But other times some stuff doesn't work out. I'm trying Pony or Illustrious, with and without LoRAs, high and low Guidance, whatever... I am not expecting stuff like 2fee5a's things because he said he spends a lot of time editing stuff, but I don't know how to just get to a state where I get a mostly normal picture. What's like, a good "blank slate" model and settings that won't fuck shit up? Or am I being too picky, and is this just how it is?

>>6001 >>6005 >>6002 I did the slow quick edit of making darker greens purple. Also did the even more slow quick edit of striping the hat which started to remind me of a train conductor's hat. After seeing purple versions, I still prefer full green for the holiday theme. IMO Viv doesn't require purple to be Viv. In lewds she's naked with no purple in sight. She usually, but not always, includes purple in my gens. For example, I like her in the Anonymous-style outfit: >>5897 TL;DR Dressing & undressing Vivian is fun. I'll post the PSG-style cops again because it's neat & another anon made a nice logo for it. >>6006 I'm not on that PC right now to look at my settings, but I can at least tell you even if you're going full autism with inpainting, upscaling & edits - the more complex an art style the more difficult it is to get it looking good. Realism is the hardest as the mind knows perfectly what "real" things look like. If you go in a more cartoony or sketchy direction there's more room for the mind to fill in the blanks so "looking decent" is far less strict.
>>6007 If anyone can figure out what the typefaces are for the new P&S title card, I can do another one using that format, too.

Prompt: best anatomy, detailed eyes, large pupils, detailed pupils, thick eyelashes, shiny skin, detailed background, chiaroscuro lighting, incredible lighting, detailed shadows, vintage dining room, glossy wooden table, dark green wall, teapot, carrot on plate, steaming tea, 1girl, teen, skinny, medium breasts, pale skin, green eyes, very long hair, straight hair, swept bangs, long sidelocks, black hair, bunny girl, (anthro:0.6), freckles, freckles on shoulders, freckles on breasts, human nose, small nose, long black rabbit ears, strapless white dress, frilly dress, baggy clothing, bare shoulders, half-closed eyes, closed smile, soft blush, one eyebrow raised, looking at viewer, sitting at table, one hand lifting tea cup, drinking tea, elegant, beautiful, (traditional media, oil painting, classic media), Negative prompt: IL_Neg, body paint, watermark, heart pupils, (small head), (2girls, group, multiple_girls), depth of field, out of focus, blurry, cuffs, (double ears, human ears:1.5), (hairband, white rabbit ears), tea on plate, When making bunny girls I often struggle to remove human ears on this model. I had (anthro:0.6) in prompt to see if that helped & (double ears, human ears:1.5) in negative. I believe the nose is more red because anthro is in prompt although it's at a lower weight. Vibrant glow & Sunglow 2 are from "Kubota Artistic Pak I" found online. Other actions I either created or don't remember where I found 'em. Could've done more Photoshop, but the section is too long already. I'm using Photoshop CC 2019. Heard actions can be fickle about versions so my actions may not work for you. Photoshop Actions: https://f.uguu.se/tvSHcswC.7z (the Styles are also necessary for some actions) The simpler answer is use a model that easily generates good outputs with low effort & work from there. If you get something like the base NoobAI XL model you'll be tard-wrangling it for ages to get anything good. BetterDays by contrast "just werks" with a decent default style so you have a good starting point to work with. Artist tags, style tags & LoRAs can take you the rest of the way.
Tried out trying to make >>5891 in a realistic style. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to making realistic people and the artifacts from the art style of the training data likely make it a poor choice for realistic images.

One thing that's been happening is I will have a good starting prompt all good, and then add or remove one tag to the prompt or negative prompt, and then it makes the entire picture blown out and the content incoherent, for no apparent reason. It was happening a ton earlier today, but it seems fine now... Anyway yeah thanks again, this is a lot better than the directionless junk I was doing before. Now I kind of have an idea of what dials do what and how to go in the right direction with things...

>>6029 Glad it was helpful & you actually got somewhere with it. Although it can be time-consuming, inpainting really is indispensable to getting clarity & details in some areas. It can take something from a vague resemblance to potentially exceeding expectations. Prompting can maybe go south if it doesn't recognize a tag properly or it was typed incorrectly. Like I've accidentally put "green hair tie" instead of "green hairtie" which results in green hair. Over time we tend to add more tags to get a desired output, but cluttering the prompt too much can also stray away from good outputs. I've got some good results never leaving the first seed, however if you stay on the same seed long enough adding more & more tags, you can potentially "break" it with outputs becoming crappy. I know my posts are quite long, but since I'm toying with Zonos right now I found a guy to narrate this. Good luck with your prompting, anon.

Tried to get by using only tags for Hat Kid, but wound up using a LoRA for her too: https://civitai.com/models/612660/hat-kid-two-variants-and-four-costumes-a-hat-in-time Using Disney Silver Age LoRA again as usual, mixed with incase & alex ahad artist tags. <lora:Disney_Silver_Age_Style:0.8>, disneysilverage, flat colors, cartoon, no shading, (hatching /(texture/):1.2), (artist:incase, artist:alex_ahad:0.5), Started to use another LoRA for the guns, but it was strictly producing an aiming pose. Probably could've reintroduced the gun LoRA after I started using Mistoline for the pose, but I think it was messing with the style too so I kept working without it. Multiple characters are still a bit of a chore even if they're well-separated in the image & I usually wind up relying on Mistoline to place & pose them where I want. [Repost. Spent all night doing random shit figuring out more thins and trying different models and such and I'm just in the honeymoon phase of my newfound source of fap material so everything is exciting but yeah the choice of words can really skew things. But I also gotta be more creative with the prompts, I am very shallow-minded and just put in "standing, nice dress, smiling cutely... ok done" so it is also nice to get ideas from pictures people post (especially since places like Civit list all the prompts and models used to make the picture) Also pic slightly unrelated but I left a LoRA in for an incompatible model and it caused it to generate mostly junk but this one made me laugh uncontrollably.

https://civitai.com/models/1283538?modelVersionId=1448160 Cindy Vortex for Illustrious now on Civitai. This took a lot of effort due to using nearly 200 pictures, but I like how it came out. I'm open to updating essentially all my Pony models if anyone has any they want to reflect the fixes I gave (first three are ones that got a new trigger, but I listed the changed in the description and some got bigger changes). >>6051 How many pics did the model use? The weird thing is that it isn't totally accurate to the source material (pic 1 related), which was earlyish 3D animation with just off the shelf software (post-Beast Wars and Veggie Tales, but pre-Treasure Planet). Even that car commercial made way latter (which has a single pic in training data, pic 2, because she's barely in it) isn't a match. It seems it hybridized with the FoP crossovers (27 pics out of 198, given its own tag that wasn't used in gen).

>>5650 >>6015 I'd update the Pastebin with instructions to install Zonos locally, but for Windows I was only able to get it working with Docker Desktop. The Docker install has it's own snags. In BIOS you must enable virtualization on the CPU which could go by many different names. You must enable Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) in the Windows features list & maybe Hyper-V. In Docker Desktop you must enable a setting to access a WebUI running in the docker from the outside AND when opening in web browser replace the IP in the WebUI URL with host.docker.internal:#### or else you CANNOT access Zonos running inside Docker at all. THEN even if you open up the log to get feedback on what Zonos is doing that log will tell you NOTHING while the WebUI hangs because when you first launch Zonos it's downloading the transformers model. Only after it's downloaded does the log show the percentage amount downloaded that should have appeared in realtime so you know wtf it's doing, but didn't. The linked git for Zonos doesn't give you a normal requirements.txt & forces you to create one using uv, but also the system-requirements list Linux & Mac ONLY so even if you try that, or the huggingface link to get requirements.txt it's going to fail to grab all requirements as some don't exist for Windows. The other git I found on my own with a one-click install for Windows is broken, even if you edit filenames & lines in the installer it doesn't work. So yeah, Docker Desktop was the only Zonos install that worked for Windows & that's pretty much just running Zonos on a Linux VM, throwing in the towel on an actual install for Windows itself. If I could get it running on actual Windows, not a VM, I'd share that guide or write one for the Pastebin. But I only got it running in a VM. That's not really an "install on Windows" IMO & it takes more drive space to run a VM.

Lower CFG recommended, but also means it won't strictly adhere to prompt. >outputs have less or NO film grain while JANKU & Better Days have noise in outputs (can only see this in full size PNGs linked above) Style preference is subjective, but overall I'm torn between Better Days & JANKU. I like the background that JANKU produced more, but I prefer the character styling of Better Days. Fairly irrelevant since you can add artist tags to get similar outputs between them. Contrast & Saturation can be added afterwards as well. Konpa having less grainy outputs is useful because inpainting on grainy images creates very obvious differences in areas of the image that have to be fixed afterwards. I think for the time being I'll keep experimenting with JANKU since I've used Better Days quite a lot already. Might try another model too, who knows.

>>6078 I often make them in photoshop by tracing over images the AI has already spit out that I liked, either brush or shape tool + outer stroke. This separates out the background so it doesn't interfere & I can repurpose the poses using Mistoline with Controlnet. The pose image doesn't really need to be that detailed, but giving proper separation to fingers & toes can help guide the AI better. Sometimes I'll just edit an existing image from google images of the pose I want. I think if you use one of those online web apps with a poseable 3D figure (for drawing) you could easily pose & take a screencap of that to get whatever pose or camera angle you wish for the Controlnet. >>6076 OpenPose was underwhelming to me, but Mistoline shows endless potential. You can see how it stuck to the composition / poses fairly closely despite style changes. A lower weight is needed for the styles since my ControlNet was taking a lot of priority. Last one prob needed less weight on the style because of that, but I included the example anyway.

Been over this before, but may as well touch on it again. A pose for controlnet can be even simpler than this first example. It was made just to get the height difference & positioning of three characters. Second example is much the same, but also making a pose. Simpler is more flexible requiring lower control weight, while complex poses require higher control weight. (shape colors are prob not necessary, I don't know that they make the pose any more clear to the AI or not) Here is also an older screencap, You don't need to crank the control weight to max unless you're trying to very strictly stick to that pose. My timestep range usually ends in 0.6 as well, maybe as low as 0.4.

>>6081 >>6082 Alright. Although I knew it'd be trivial to do it, I hadn't opened this can of worms since some anons may get pissy over AI doing these OCs. One guy with Stable Diffusion could produce enough images for an entire compilation, so AI generating them trivializes the effort of more traditional/manual means & not everyone has access to these tools nor the hardware to use them. >>6131 Oh that seems easy enough. I'll try it with the other pics. >How do I gen squinting eyes? I've tried squint & squinting in prompt, but it never seems to affect the bottom eyelid for some reason. That's the Anya meme face, you can get it with the tag anya's heh face \(meme\) You can lower the strength to get less squinting. If you're using a1111 or Forge I also recommend installing the tagcomplete extension, it autocompletes booru tags and it helps a lot in finding highly specific tags like that.
What gpooyou are you using to render your shit?
>>6134 That's a neat tag. I'll have to remember it. I'd wouldn't expect an autocomplete to help find that one. Even the Danbooru wiki doesn't list it as a facial expression. I will use this as a chance to shill the effectiveness of "smug" as a facial expression though: Lots of other expressions will be insufficient or so hyper exaggerated they ruin a gen, but smug has never failed me. Incidentally, I like going through booru tags with 1k+ uses in lowest frequency to highest. Finds you all kinds of weird stuff worth trying.

>>6138 Oh you can definitely find some weird tags through auto-complete, but I meant it wouldn't help someone find that was the tag used in a gen. I just found "kubrick stare" is a recognized tag.

>>6135 3080 Ti Can't get 5090 for muh AI since Bestbuy & Newegg suck. Got a kit of 32GB RAM recently since SD kept choking on 16GB. Read about the issue in comments on civit.ai Figured video memory was the bottleneck, but it was system memory. When I'd first add a LoRA to prompt it'd generate significantly slower until I interrupted & tried again, then it'd be fine & could even add or swap LoRA. On 32GB RAM it doesn't happen anymore & I can run other programs without worrying about RAM usage. May also benefit video editing, dunno. >>6137 Looks better now. >>6136 >tag autocomplete Sounds very useful. I had something like that in the early days during first Novel AI leak. >>6024 Hopefully, it will help me learn game development and 2D animation. I'm testing some stuff, and I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm currently testing some sprite loras, flexibility, and checkpoints. There isn't consistency right now, but that's easy to fix later. I'm focusing on testing loras and creating a nice workflow.
https://civitai.com/models/1324976/il-high-cut-panties I got tired of Illustrious (and Pony. Like always I'll train this for it after I'm sure I don't need any adjustments) not knowing how to make "normal" or different panties (outside of a few that got tags like side-ties, thongs, and, for Illustrious only, briefs), so I decided to teach it how. What other styles of pantsu should I try making LoRAs for?
Gave OpenPose and the Openpose Editor extension a try. Also pretty simple to use. Just select OpenPose on ControlNet, choose an image of a full body character, select a preprocessor (dw_openpose_full), select a model, run the preprocessor and it creates a skeleton which can then be easily edited with the Openpose Editor extension. You can also save the skeleton for later use and skip the "image choosing" part. Pretty nice for some quick posing and you can even get a bit creative with extra limbs and multiple characters. I used a NoobAI-XL openpose model, but it works well with Better Days. >>5987 >>6147 There are prompts & thumbnails for 35 characters now. I put them in an archive. Character Prompts: https://files.catbox.moe/0yrgft.7z If you install the Stylez extension in A111, Forge or reForge, you can then extract the archive into the necessary directory, refresh the Stylez section of Stable Diffusion, then all the characters should appear with their prompt information. Tags are still imperfect. Plenty of tard-wrangling the AI. For example, Hat Kid's hat cannot be (purple top hat with yellow ribbon) as that puts yellow ribbons everywhere. Instead it must be (purple top hat with yellow band) to work & also needs (large headwear) with (small headwear) in negative to keep the hat BIG. Some characters need (chibi:0.7) or higher to generate as a loli properly. Some characters need more weight on their name tag. Still more experimenting to do. This is about as much as an Illustrious or NoobAI mix checkpoint seems to natively "know" about these characters while descriptive tags force it to stick closer to the correct appearance. LoRAs know far more, but you save disk space not relying on LoRAs for everything.
