o4-mini seems to have good variety between different presets at least, it interpreted one of mine where I was trying to bully Grok into splitting up its mega paragraphs as me wanting every response to look like poetry. Just some thoughts about bots. - Internal conflicts are fun. Like a girl who wants be proper, but also express herself. A scarycat that strives for adventure. One that wants to fall in love but not to lose her composure. - More details IS better, but it's important to have them be congruent to the character. A lot of people seems to put just random stuff, like LOVE: coffee, wrestling, candies. or whatever that doesn't reinforce or expand upon the characteristic of the character. - The way that a character speaks is the most important aspect of a character card. As far as LLM go, to me it appears that speech influence behavior more than the other way around. - Greeting with upcoming events implied are pretty nice. Like encountering your ex on a cruise as its approaching port. It gives the user something to look forward to as well the AI something to work toward.
