The only time I'd accept deleting an entire thread on those grounds is if the admin posted his certifications as an actual clergy member of a major faith, and even then that doesn't solve the interdenominational matter. Classical Liberal values rooted in Christianity show that the best way to discourage something bad is to allow the "free arena of thoughts and ideas" to propagate and allow users to have that conversation. Speaking as someone who's moderated far more strict mageboards, "Lol I don't like a handful of posts so I'm deleting the whole thread' is never a valid excuse. It's just poor moderation.
