Greetings, Zombie followers, I have a theory about the modern political Left that I wanted to bounce off some people who will understand it. I think that the modern political Left is the worst kind of religious people, they are the kind of religious people who are the biggest close-minded, self-righteous, intolerant bigots. What do you think of the thesis: the reason that so many people in this day and age gravitate to "Atheism" is that "Atheism" allows them a level of self-righteousness that they can't find in Christianity. If they were Christians, they would have to be better Human Beings, and tempered in the morality that they impose on others and their own religious intolerance. Because they don't justify their religious views by an invisible sky man, they don't hold it to BE religious intolerance (even though their morals based in philosophy, like religion, and not logic or reason). Thoughts?
