Guess I'll post first. I've drawn a layout for my Christmas picture this year. It's mostly subject around /v/, but I figured I'd participate in this christmas board by posting it here. Like an autist I made two versions, I like the second one a little better but I think it's too lopsided. If you've got any suggestions like additions or what the coloration should be like that would be cool.

>>195 If you add enough detail to the christmas tree, I'm sure it'll be fine. As a tip from a fellow artist, you should try adding values to your sketches too. Paint over with the rough brightness/darkness of colors to get a feel for how attention will be drawn around the scene. I do like the second more. Like anon, I am biased by gondola.

I made some adjustments. I was pretty busy so I didn't make as much progress as I wanted. My initial plan was to use the pencil art as a template and draw ink art on a different layer and color on another, but I'm not sure if that will be quick enough. I'd prefer it not to be grayscale.

Not Christmas-related, but I spent a good chunk of Christmas eve on this shit. Started out as a trace (which is why the Aussie's proportions are so weird) but it quickly got out of hand.

Well I think I've got the line art more or less finished. I'll post what I've got now since it's already Christmas in some countries. I'll see if I can color it tomorrow.

Well I finished the drawing. Sorry I couldn't get this finished before Christmas,. Maybe I should have just stuck to shading with the pencil instead of trying to do the lighting autism, but even so the coloring took longer than it should have. In any case, merry belated Christmas and have a happy new year

Merry Christmas, I've been working on a drawing, here's what I've got so far. Looks like I won't be to finish it until after Christmas again. I was wondering if I should wait until next year to finish it, that way I have less work to do
