FYI: Duck Weed is actually very closely related to arums and are now often placed within that same family. If you do include them all together then that means that the arum family contains plants with both the smallest and the largest flowers. Wolffia ssp. and Amorphophalus titanium respectively.

Also related fun fact the red "duck weed" that you sometimes isn't actually a duck weed but is actually the fern Azolla, which at one time sucked so much CO2 out of the atmosphere that it caused an ice age.
