This thread is to publish my development updates, announcements and milestones. If this thread is lost, you can follow my project on ATF, where you can find similiar information. There aren't a third place for now, so I hope to find it another good place to publish updates and answer questions. I had Daughter Project idea since 2017, but it was stopped for years, because the lack of time, and lack of organization of my different activities. What is Daughter Project? Daughter Project is a video game based on MOTHER/Earthbound. It takes place both in present and in the future (in the same country). An antipedo organization has arrived to the present era in Norden causing several strange events that affects many people, specially our protagonists. Places Norden, year 220 Norden is an Arctic country, that experiments a quick growth and development, due to the discovery of oil wells. Nordish monarchy has discovered their economic potential and they decided to spend the money mainly on engineering and technology. Also, they invest on education and culture, this fact is reflected on places like Tropicana's hall on Torosa, Copitos' art exhibition and Navarra's University. Norden, year 386 Norden is an Arctic country that became that main headquarter of an antipedo organization. That organization has a great technological infrastructure and well-trained team, that invest periodically on research and security. In fact, being a pedophile is a hell on this country, there are many alerted eyes watching any strange activity. In recent years, Norden has many problems, extremely low natality, each time less workforces. In fact, Norden is near of an economical crisis, due to the huge expenses of that organization. Regarding Norden's wealth, the country has a soft summer and a cold winter where is hard to see snow on the surface, only in mountains. In fact, it became the best country to live regarding to climate, comparing to the previously known as the temperate zone and its hot summers, and extremely hot temperatures on the inhabited equatorial zone.

Characters Main Dolores: A cute and a happy girl, her happiness can cheer up the rest of the team. But she has a problem, she's doesn't remember anything of her past life previous to her 8 years old. Her questions and lost thoughts make her to go through to a big quest. She has PSI abilities. Alicia: She's a shy girl, daughter of an important businessman that is involved on the oil business, she is known into Norden's elite. She has a bank account, where his father deposits money constantly. She doesn't have PSI abilities at first, but she will discover a way to use it... Daniela:' A mixed-race little girl from the future. She has a strong character, and has fighting, and weapon handle skills. Also, she has advanced knowledge (regarding present era) on electronics and mechanics. She travels to the present to avoid that her era ends worse than it is (will be). Optional Catalina: A little girl with an unknown origin. Although his parents have tried to look into her origins, the orphanage refuses to give them an answer. She's can't ignore the fact that she doesn't know who is she and where she come from, in comparison to her classmates. However she's a happy girl that always is finding many ways of fun. She has PSI abilities. Laura: Well-known model and actress in Tala, a southern country, but unknown in Norden. Thanks to her jobs, she lives with her family in a mansion, but its getting harder to produce new photo sets and videos, putting her life style in a risk. Her goal in this quest is to maintain her commodities.

Well, I decided to change Catalina's design. I show you the new and final design. Also, I've drawn the graphic concept of the overworld. This is not a final version, the houses are bigger compared to the girl size. Although I've thought on a resolution of 640x480, this may not see very well on a 1366x768 monitor, then, I decide to use the 640x360 resolution. I'm going to draw another concepts, for overworld, battle and cutscenes.

I created another graphic concepts, an improved version of overworld design, a battle concept and a cutscene/H-scene concept. In overworld concept, the houses are smaller for showing the environment as big as possible without sacrificing many details (this is why I choose 24x24 pixel tiles). Maybe a inner house concept is missing, but I say to you, it will be similar to Mother 2/Earthbound one. In battle concept, I'm looking for some answers to deal with resolution limitations. One of these is to show the character until her thighs when is selected to make an attack, and hide behind her stat box when she isn't selected. When a dialog appears to indicates team and enemies moves, the main characters are less visible, and the enemy downs a bit. Another problem is that the enemy loli looks smaller than I thought, she was made thinking of an adult partners, and I have to sacrifice more details. A solution for this problem is to make the loli bigger, having an adult size, anyway, I don't have any plans about having a loli and an adult as an enemies together in a battle scene. And finally, there is the cutscene/H-scene concept. The background keeps undefined because I need to practice for making a decent background. With graphic concepts, there are multiple tasks to do in any moment, at this time: - Making the script (In progress) - Making the tiles for overworld and interiors. - Making the map of present and future Norden, and the map of a third world. - Making main character sprite animations. - Making the enemies/bestiary. - Making the NPCs. - Creating model sheets (normal clothes/winter clothes/underwear). - Making sound effects. - Composing the music. - Defining the principal and secondary characters. - Looking for a game engine. Hundreds, even thousands of hours of work to do, I hope to have the enough time to complete my entire project.

He has not made a stream on pomf.tv for a while now he most likely is taking a break or hopefully not has quite over all with my experience talking to him he seemed like a cool guy hope he ok that all I have for now.
