If you were to do Showdown battles, how would you want to do them? Full teams, level 100s, or could there be some way to balance things for trainer OCs who only want to bring 4 or something? I've heard of a format where each player gets to pick a mon, and picked mons can't be used by others, so that more uncommon mons see some use but everybody still gets some metamons.

I've been playing in pokemon tabletop groups for a few years now and have a lot of fun with it, but honestly it feels like such an overdone community with people using canons/face-claims to fuck an incredibly shallow pool of pokemon everyone finds generally attractive. This might be a reciple for disaster but an /flg/ pokemon tabletop united/reunited group might be a fun idea, sometime.
