General thread for game systems, design advice, recruiting, and any other discussion involving lewd roleplays with dice, random events, or any other game-like aspects. Empress Calista's Erotic Wonderland Discord Server: https://discord.gg/6KCtdD55 (More resources and links in future threads hopefully?)
Here's some more Empress Calista links: Full archive (should contain all of the threads from 8chan, from the beginning): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0Bw_7GYESD6i-ZGRWeko1ZDdUUFk?resourcekey=0-HnDuvNqW-vpgBnrcLqs5eQ&usp=sharing The game migrated to the above Discord, but there's a Matrix space created as well: https://matrix.to/#/!TpdqDUpfTKbgwaGXWo:matrix.org?via=matrix.org
So a classic highlight of old /erp/ was Ero-Empires, a collaborative writing fantasy game. I dug up what seems to have been the last set of rules for the game: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Lt9ya6NofL_CrgYY6JSxM9wuAfLhhziNnxPN3E-WFGo/edit I kind of wonder if anyone has the threads and pastebins archived. I recall written sections often exceeded post limit and were hosted elsewhere. Another thing I heard was that there was a split between writing-focused players and game-focused players. Given the small player pool compromise is probably ideal, though I think if there's enough people for a split, one could make a crunchier version by taking the rules of Lords of Conquest. It's a PC game from the 80's, and is honestly a precursor to the 4X genre, if it even qualifies as that. It's simple enough for tabletop-style conversion, and the resources (lumber, coal, iron, gold) could be switched for categories (agriculture, energy, material, valuables) so that each player can flavor out their civilization.

>>2558 Forgot about those things expiring after a week unless you change the settings. https://discord.gg/8R3hsy73Wr And for that matter, would probably do to post the current set of rules for the game. I'm not that happy with the presentation at the moment, so I'm thinking of making another draft reordering the content and giving it a lore-then-rules format. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1f20Bj-GRZyakFLUheEPYfcZz80sVeQEE5iqQEBnTy98/edit?usp=sharing One little thing that's changed since old /erp/ is that rather than a continuous campaign, the game is being set up to be more of a series, with shorter more varied scenarios.
Just as a little shot of life for the board, I'm going to repost the "adventure frenemies" concept. Basically it's a "game" of one dice roll. Play your characters meeting, establish a dynamic where each wants the other to literally get fucked, and then bring the adventure to a head. For my example scenario, two characters are after a bracelet that allow the user to summon and command astral appendages. They both spot it, and reach for ti at the same time. Each player throws 1d6 to see which way the scenario plays out. I plotted it out so that there's six results that each account for six of the possible dice results, if you check for each case in the following order: Tie: Power struggle Both characters grab the bracelet at the same time, and use it to molest each other at the same time. Both players roll 3 or less: Backfire on both Both characters grab the bracelet, but the part about controlling the appendages turns out to be false. (In this case, each player controls the appendages molesting the other player's character.) One player's roll is higher by three or more: Solid win The character of the player that rolled higher snatches up the bracelet, and uses it to molest the other character. Remaining outcomes: Win with backfire The "winning" character grabs the bracelet first and molests the other character, but the bracelet is cursed and turns on it's user.
