Would anybody be interested if I dumped short arcs on weekends?
Eh, sure, why not?
At least dump the issue you posted, Amy's looking pretty cool
Meh. Never liked Archie.
kinda want to get into the sonic comics, where should i start?
>>141
Well, there are three places you could feasibly start reading: issue #1 (obviously enough), issue #160 (When Ian Flynn, the current writer, took over), or issue #252 (when the reboot starts). Now, if you start all the way from the very beginning, you're going to have a lot of shit to work through in the middle in what's known as the Dark Ages of the comic, but seeing what Ian manages to make out of the shit heap that the series had been before is part of what makes his run as good as it is, and you'll have to do some reading to find out who's who/what in some cases if you start from his run. As for starting from #252, you COULD feasibly do that, especially since it starts out in a continuity that's far more steeped in the game continuity, but then you run into issues with not having much reason to care about the returning non-game cast, so make of it what you will. I don't have it on hand n this system, but I'm sure someone can post the reading order and quality infographics in this thread.

Which would still be an issue if you started from Issue #1

Fair enough, but you at least get to see when they finally get their developmentif you follow the entire span of it, even though I'm not sure if I could've ever withstood the entirety of the Dark Ages without the Ride
sounds like i'll have to start at issue one and work my way through the dark ages…
unless i just wait for the next ride to happen on /v/ or /co/
when do they usually happen anyway?
>>155
They've been roughly starting around the first couple of months of the year for the last couple of years that've had them, though it's questionable to say the least if half/v/ or /co/ would be tolerant of another Ride, let alone how much worse the threads would be because of the mods.
>>155
Someone might start marathoning it here in February. I've seen /fast/ be brought up as a possible venue.

>>155
Well, whatever ends up happening, here's the reading chart
>>155
It really seems people are split over whether another should happen.

I fall into the camp of not wanting another happening for a long time.
>>168
If it were in the same place with the same people, I'd agree, but 8chan right now overall seems to less sucky than 4chan was during 2013 and 2014. Plus I'm pretty sure we left a lot of the people that caused the Ride to get shitty near the end like those faggots that hang out in the FORBIDDEN ZONE behind. Probably also the only way to make this place take off with any activity. If it bombs it bombs, but I don't see the hurt in trying it out.
>>116
that's an edit by an amy fan who goes and redraws scenes with Sally to contain Amy to support his SonAmy ship

Guy who is currently updating the chart here (I didn't create the original one, I just update it month-to-month

I made a new version, this time reorganizing things so its a more organic reading experience during the reboot. Sonic Origins is now after "Countdown to Chaos"
>>107
I remember reading this shit when I was like five. Though back then it was goofy as shit and more comedic. Skipped a few years, picked it back up and Sonic had like feet that were made of sand or some shit and was riding a dragon around. Then Robotnik blew up and there was a Sonic with a mustache and King Acorn was emeralds.

sounds like Endgame. Really early in the comic's history. Ended on issue fifty

new version, btw

Maybe I should wait until I get both issues before I update.

>>330
eh, I'll just post a new version with every new issue

>>107 Even though this board is pretty dead, there's no harm in doing it anyway. The only way to liven it up around here is to increase traffic. There's no reason for people to check here often right now, so they only check once in a while. Regularly dumping arcs would be something that people might check in more often for. "If you build it, they will come." (…Maybe.)
>>202 Source? please?
