Sonic & Sega News (with a pinch of Nintendo) Anonymous 01/14/2017 (Sat) 02:29:15 No. 853
A new year'll mean new news, so I've made this thread in order to accumulate news for those unable to get it. First Sonic news of the year: Both Sonic Mania and the Collector's Edition will be ported to the Nintendo Switch by Tantalus Media, the same company who helped port The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to the Wii U.
>>853 I think making several different threads when we are so few is a bad idea. Anyway, I noticed that when they wanted to show Project 2017, they only showed a few parts of the trailer, but there's still nothing conclusive. I still hope the Switch version is just a portable version and separate from the console game.

Now that I've finished all my personal business and gotten back to "newswork", as it were; assuming I update this in real time, would you like to see solely Sonic news, or Sonic & Sega news. How would you feel about Nintendo news as well.
>>858 Cuties. >>861 Mostly Sonic, some Sega, no Nintendo.
>>861 I would like to primarily see Sonic news as a top priority. Maybe some sprinkles of Sega news if it involves Virtua Fighter.
>>863 I'm just wondering who or what this new character from Project Sonic 2017 will be.
>>863 Why Virtua Fighter?
>>865 I like fightans and that's the only other Sega IP that I care about besides Sonic.
>>864 I'm placing my bets on a single use character much like Chip, Mephiles, or others like that. Maybe on the villain's side.

Sega has created Yakuza and Puyo Puyo social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter in commeration of Yakuza 0 and Puyo Puyo Tetris releasing in North America; Tuesday, January 24 and later in spring, respectively. Coincidentally, Puyo Puyo Tetris will be the first Puyo Puyo game released internationally since Puyo Puyo Fever in 2004. Since Tetris will be a part of this game, it's possible that Sega now owns the license for console/handheld Tetris games instead of Ubisoft. Also, Puyo Puyo and Yakuza having a social media account might mean more engagement with Western fans, along with more international support and closer release dates in Japan and the US. https://www.facebook.com/segayakuza/ https://twitter.com/segayakuza https://www.facebook.com/PuyoOfficial https://twitter.com/PuyoOfficial

>>871 Where is my summary of whatever happened in the stream with pretty pictures n' shiz?
>>872 Nothing happened. Green Hill and Studiopolis were the only things shown. Nothing new was said or shown. As for Yakuza 0, it's already been released, so the showcase has no point, really.
Valkyria Revolution is the worst selling title in the entire franchise at 56,416 units combined; 38,197 units on PlayStation 4 and only 18,219 on the PlayStation Vita. At best, the title will only barely meet expected sales, meaning that the entire franchise could remain dormant, forever; or at least for a very long time. http://www.siliconera.com/2017/01/26/week-sales-gravity-rush-2-jumps-valkyria-revolution-battles-behind/

Popular Dreamcast bullet-hell shoot 'em up Ghost Blade is making its way digitally to Steam, PS4, XB1, and, in a surprising twist, the Wii U.

(154.68 KB 1200x900 boomtoys.jpg)

(125.08 KB 1200x900 16bit-figures.jpg)

The London Toy Fair has ended and some new toys and other goodies have been revealed for 2017. First up, a series of Sonic Boom figures which look to be based off of an upcoming episode in space. Next, a series of figures based on Sonic's, Tails', and Knuckles' 16-bit sprites. Keep an eye out, because the New York and Germany Toy Fairs will probably reveal even more new toys.
>>882 Also, in the last image, some comic book packs can be made out. For those of you who don't buy toys, these are basically packs of one or more figures, with a comic inside. This isn't the first time Sonic has done this. From the looks of it, one of the packs will include issue #1 of the Tails miniseries.
>>882 These… don't sound like a good idea? While I think we still haven't seen that episode, I really doubt it's gonna be as big as to guarantee a line of figures. Are they really that desperate to get new content to make figures of? Remember the merch Burnbot got? It just sounds ridiculous. The classic figures at least look more normal, but I don't feel them having some pixelated details really contribute anything good to the figures. The aesthetic just doesn't work like that. Again, it just feels like they've run out of ideas. It's also pretty peeving that there's still pretty much no Modern merch.
>>867 You sure about that? Because I see a lot of people speculating that it'll be a new main cast character. Has Sega always hyped up new characters before revealing them only fpor them to be one note characters?
>>886 No, I'm not sure, but it's what makes the most sense, to me anyway. Unless they did a full 180°, they'd probably want to take it on the easy side for characters, so it's logical for the them to want the new character to only be available for this game. Also, if it's a main character, it'd add to the clusterfuck of characters the franchise already has, and would probably make more than one person pissed because Sega decided to create some new character instead of using their favorite one which was actually a perfect fit for the role. >Has Sega always hyped up new characters before revealing them only fpor them to be one note characters? That, I don't know. I wouldn't really call what they're doing "hyping up a new character", it was just something they mentioned once. I can't picture them adding a new main cast character going well at all.

(256.48 KB 1503x358 yakuzaamazon.jpg)

Yakuza 0 has sold an unprecedented amount in the UK. So much so that Amazon has had constant restocking and the game is the 8th best-selling game in Britain so far. https://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/latest/index_test.jsp&ct=110015 https://www.amazon.co.uk/SEGA-SEG163-UK-RB-Yakuza-0-PS4/dp/B01N8U2939
>>888 >sold an unprecedented amount >the game is the 8th best-selling I am not familiar with game rankings. Is that really a lot, or enough to call it an "unprecedented amount"? It just sounds weird to say "oh, this has performed really well. It's ranked 8th"
>>889 Considering Amazon UK can't even keep it in stock for more than a day or two, I'd say it's unprecedented. Especially considering that Sega has little faith in Western sales for the franchise, considering the delay between JP and NA releases.
BULLETIN: More news on the games will be coming up next month.
>>890 Oh well, great then. I hope they mention it in the next financial report.
>>891 So… in March? >tfw still have more than a month for news

Well, the games might need to wait one more month, but at least we still have toys, right? First up, we have the Sonic Boom "Sonic Blue Force One" pack which includes an articulated Sonic figure along with the Blue Force One, first shown in the tenth episode of season 2. You can move the wheels around to use it as either a motorcycle or a hoverbike. Next, we have some Classic figures, this time un-pixelated. We also have some rather strange designs in the single-character packs. One gives Sonic and Tails a transparent design matching their color; the other features them in black and white. There's also another new comic pack confirmed, this time of Sonic Universe #75.

That's all the toys for this fair, but maybe we'll get to see some more at the New York Toy Fair.
>>907 I wonder if any of these seemingly random and strange designs have something to do with the games. It'd be funny if they do end up being related and they were in our faces all this time. >>910 What do the dates on the tags mean? Could they have been showcased at some other fair? Also, I don't know why they made Shadow so different to Sonic, specially his muzzle. The specular reflection on his eyes is also weird. >>911 This was the Germany Toy Fair, right?
>>912 Yep. These toy fairs are actually pretty popular. I'd go if I could.
>>913 Don't you need to be in the industry to be allowed entry?

Sega-Sammy report for the 3rd quarter of 2016. http://www.segasammy.co.jp/english/ir/library/pdf/settlement/2017/170206_3q_siryo_e_final_.pdf >their vidya business division seems to be doing really well. >they mention Sonic's mobile games are doing well. They mention Sonic Dash by name. >they mention ads a bit. They mention what they did about placing ads on existing titles (e.g.: what happened with mobile Sonic CD, I think), and they mention they want to "promote efforts to improve monetization thorugh an advertisement profit business model" >they explicitly mention no launch of any large titles for the remainder of the year (ends in March) >they say they aim to "continue to reinforce measures for new style stores such as those targeting families and collaboration cafe", which immediately brings to mind the Sonic Cafe, so I'm guessing we'll see more of that >they already sold part of the shares of Joypolis Not sure why they mention taking a (big) loss over that last bit. I would have expected a gain. They also mention another even bigger loss because of something else they're discontinuing.

Gotta Go Fast: The Official Panel of Sonic the Hedgehog A Sonic panel at SXSW has been announced for March 16, which promises some new info on both Sonic Mania and the enigmatic Project Sonic 2017. Said panel will star Aaron Webber, Mike Pollock, Roger Craig Smith, and Takashi Iizuka. The panel will contain an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at both Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017 and answer questions about both games, along with showcasing a new reveal for each title, and discussing Sonic’s resurgence in the world of gaming since both games' reveals. There's even a little teaser that some "other surprises" might be in store as well. http://schedule.sxsw.com/2017/events/PP96507
(98.35 KB 1024x683 IMG_20170214_103231.jpg)

Speaking of actual game news, a new issue of Nintendo's Nintendo Dream has revealed more info on both Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017. For starters, Sonic Mania will have multiplayer features, as Sonic 2 and 3 & Knuckles did, while Project Sonic 2017 will not, as is the norm since Unleashed. The game will also be "action/adventure", which could mean the return of Adventure-era gameplay and maybe even story. Find out on March 16th at SXSW.
>>918 >>919 Is this panel going to be streamed anywhere like Twitch for example? If so, I wanna know where to catch a stream like this.
>>920 Well, fuck. I was happy before because I was going to be home before the panel started, but from the get go I assumed it was going to be streamed somewhere. After all, the last panel was streamed. >>919 You forgot to mention that Eggman will be the villan. We still don't know the specifics, but it appears that the theory that the new character would be related to the villans is over. Oh god…
>>921 That doesn't answer my question of whether it'll be streamed or not. But on the subject of the new character, as long as it's not another super saiyan hedgehog then I'll be good to go. Three super saiyan hedgehogs is enough as is. Adding in a fourth one would screw up the three member team dynamic that they have. inb4 pic related is revealed to be the new character
>>921 >You forgot to mention that Eggman will be the villain Eggman is always the main villain. Even in games where he got betrayed (06, Rivals 2, RoL), he was still the main villain. The only game where Eggman was not the main villain was shadow the Hedgehog, when Black Doom was the main villain and Eggman was just kind of there, I guess.
(317.78 KB 900x600 1473372354424.png)

>>922 >That doesn't answer my question Nigga your question doesn't have an actual answer for now. It would be a great question for tomorrow's stream, though. I'll try asking it and see what we get, though the panel is still a month away so they could be unable to answer even that for now. The only thing we know is that the previous SXSW panel, which didn't have any sort of reveal or anything, indeed was livestreamed. I also hope it's not a hedgehog. I already have enough of them to fawn over, plus there are already a lot of characters that barely get any attention and I'd rather see them get some use instead of introducing a literally who. >inb4 pic related is revealed to be the new character pic related >>923 >Eggman is always the main villain More like >Eggman has always been the main villain They've done plenty of crazy things already, they could one day decide to change that. And judging from some of the games introducing other villains they've probably thought about it a few times.
(75.45 KB 358x544 hm.png)

>>920 There you go, he addressed the livestream of the SXSW panel specifically. The answer is inconclusive.
>>924 >pic related Whose the purple guy and green girl? Other joke OCs?

Starting off, Android users better beware, because your private data's being leaked. Sonic the Hedgehog Classic (the recent remake of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 for smartphones), Sonic Dash, and Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom all leak sensitive data to advertisers, including your current location, contacts, text messages, and browser history. Not only will advertisers get their hands on this data, but anyone hacking your phone can access this data, as well, due to the weak encryption present in the data-transferring library. To prevent anymore data leakage, you can either perform a full system scan with Norton Security and Antivirus, or simply uninstall the app(s) in Settings.

>Sonic the Hedgehog made his original, blue-colored, superspeed debut in the video game format, but he has long been at home in the comic book genre as well. However, the rights to Sonic comics recently changed publishers (from Archie Comics to IDW Publishing), and as a result, there’s been a drought in Sonic books for more than a year. Now, IDW is bringing Sonic back to the page in a big way. >IDW’s first ongoing Sonic the Hedgehog comic will debut in April. To celebrate the big kickoff, four whole issues will come out that month, one per week. The series will be written by Ian Flynn, and the first issue will be illustrated by fan-favorite artist Tracy Yardley; check out Yardley’s cover for the issue exclusively above. Each of the next three issues will feature a different artist, and then rotating art teams will take over once the book goes monthly. Each of the first four issues also will feature one of Sonic’s classic allies — first up is Miles “Tails” Prower. But this won’t just be a nostalgia trip; the series is introducing new characters to the Sonic canon. >The first issue of Sonic the Hedgehog hits stores on April 4. http://ew.com/books/2018/01/22/sonic-hedgehog-comics-idw/
(651.43 KB 1800x2700 24.jpg)

>>1066 So this is a bonus cover for the first issue, by Nathalie Fourdraine. Thoughts? I think it's okay for a bonus cover. I thought it was going to be the main cover and had written something much harsher. Having said that, I'm not feeling very strongly for Yardley's cover either. >the series is introducing new characters to the Sonic canon It sort of makes it sound like they want to imply the Archie (and Satam) characters are dead. But at the same time it says it's gonna introduce new characters to the "Sonic canon", which is really doubtful.
>>1068 Good for him, hopefully he doesn't get fucked over as much as he has been in previous roles.
>>1067 What's your issue with this cover, exactly? It's fucking great.
>>1067 >It sort of makes it sound like they want to imply the Archie (and Satam) characters are dead Probably, but I have my reservations considering the fact that they promoted "old, new & surprising characters" for the comic. Ian's post-252 characters are confirmed to be dead & buried, but I wouldn't be too surprised if we get an expy of the FFs, or if the FFs somehow survived into IDW regardless.

>>1070 It looks a bit alien, specially the colors. I would have liked something with brighter colors and with more going on, and with more familiar proportions. Since it's the very first issue and it carries some hype with it, I would have expected something more outstanding.
>>1195 Ah, to each their own. I like it a lot, but I'll admit I didn't like Yardley's cover much at all so seeing this kind of made me go "ah much better"

In theory she also works for SoA but I can't remember when was the last time we saw something from her that was made for Sega.

Sega has recently announced their agreement to publish a narrative-driven IP by Interior Night, a studio made up of Heavy Rain designers. >This "brand-new narrative-driven IP" will be Interior Night's first game. CEO Caroline Marchal believes the partnership will help "deliver a great narrative experience to existing gamers and to a broader audience". >"We are very excited to work with Sega on our first narrative game. Sega have demonstrated a strong desire to take risks, innovate, and work collaboratively with studios". >Sega's executive vice president of publishing, John Clarke, noted that the deal was part of Sega's desire to "launch new franchises and experiences". >"We’re really looking forward to working with Interior Night as their combined talents and imaginations evolve into a really strong narrative-driven gaming experience". http://www.ign.com/articles/2018/01/29/sega-publishing-brand-new-narrative-ip-from-heavy-rain-designers
>>1292 >IGN Don't link, archive. http://archive.is/Medsp >"brand-new narrative-driven IP" What does that even mean? Sounds oddly close to walking simulator. >The publisher will be working with new studio Interior Night, founded in October 2017 by developers whose previous credits include Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Wonderbook: Book of Spells. Literally who. >Despite being a video game, Beyond: Two Souls premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, marking only the second time the film festival recognised a video game. David Cage, writer and director of the game, explained that game development studios should provide "interactive storytelling" that can be played by everyone, including non-gamers >This "brand-new narrative driven IP" will be Interior Night's first game Yeah, there's no way this can go wrong. It's not like it's written on the wall or anything.
>>1294 Heavy Rain made bank and was very well-received, so Sega trying to cash-in on this isn't such a bad idea.
>>1295 Isn't it a bit late to do that when that "game" was released 8 years ago? It'll probably be a decade before they can put something else out. That's not how cashing-in usually works.

So apparently there was a rumor from some "leaked" slides that Sumo was working on a kart game, which hints at another Sonic kart. http://archive.is/mXNJv Though, Aaron came forward to say that's not the case. So apparently, the same person that leaked out Sonic Wars in 2016 (that would later become Sonic Forces) has now leaked that the announcement SEGA's gonna make at SXSW will be a new Sonic Kart Racing game. I wish we got another SASR, but this is pretty cool nonetheless.
>>1325 Where did that happen? >leaked out Sonic Wars in 2016 Was that the same leak that also predicted the OC creator? Anyway, the little pieces of info we've gotten lately have the racing topic in common, so it wouldn't be strange if we did actually get some sort of racing game, and because of the same reasons it wouldn't be strange if someone took those clues and made a rumor out of them.

I really like the Sonic in this picture. It's Classic but kinda modernized. Really cute porcupine. >>1373 I hope they come up with something actually significant for Modern. It feels like we've been fed mediocre fillers ever since 2011. After such a long wait it's so disappointing, specially since they promised so much better. There are some thing going on, but I feel it's really lacking the big central thing, not to mention how little cohesion there is, in stark contrast to the Classic side.
>>1374 To be fair, Classic Sega Sonic only really has the 16-bit platformers, plus Generations, Mania, Forces, and now Mania Adventures. Meanwhile, Modern Sega Sonic has nearly 20 years of games, so of course Classic has more cohesion.
>>1375 But nothing they create for Modern has any relation to anything in those 20 years of games. They seem to really love to shout "not a sequer, brand new experience" every time they announce something. If they managed Classic like they manage Modern we'd be stuck with Sonic 4 stuff, and as a follow up instead of them expanding on the features that were better received like the animation and music or more requested like a physical edition, we'd get something completely unrelated that nobody asked for.

>>1484 That doesn't look like a lot of achievements. Also, is Shenmue worth playing? I've seen people say it was just a tech demo, and its development kind of back that up. I don't think it sold that well either. So why are people so excited for this?

Yeah, I also was under the impression it had sold much more given people's reactions and how even Sega reacted to both its reception and its sales (the mention on their financial report come to mind). Okay, so we got some sales info for the IDW comic. http://www.tssznews.com/2018/05/07/first-4-sonic-idw-issues-sell-a-combined-total-of-63050-copies/ >Sonic ended up being IDW’s highest selling comics for the month First two columns are rankings in terms of units sold and in terms of money made. Last number is absolute number of sales. 111 85 Sonic The Hedgehog 1 $3.99 04/04/18 IDW 21,362 144 130 Sonic The Hedgehog 2 $3.99 04/11/18 IDW 14,684 148 134 Sonic The Hedgehog 3 $3.99 04/18/18 IDW 13,779 152 140 Sonic The Hedgehog 4 $3.99 04/25/18 IDW 13,225 That's over 63k sales combined. Well, shit.
>>1841 Compared to what Archie was doing towards the end, that's pretty good. Good on Ian & co.

>>1845 The next few months should be a good indicator probably.
>>1846 >tfw slow 1 month release cycle again This is not Sonic.
>>1847 It's okay. IDW will probably make another Sonic book at some point and we'll get two books a month like we used to.
>>1849 I seriously hope we get an IDW Sonic Universe soon. That was one of the best parts of the Archie era.
>>1853 That would be awesome, but it won't happen any time soon, both because the book needs to get estabilished and it needs more characters first. I hate how everything seems to take so long in comics, with only 12 books coming out a year normally. And then when things start to get interesting everything falls apart and the comic gets cancelled/rebooted.

SegaSammy has just released their financial results and forecasts for Fiscal Year 2018. First off, pachinko and pachislot games are still going to be a thing. Sega already has plenty of outcome from them, so they're not going to disappear anytime soon. Sega's resorts and casinos are also doing well. Secondly, as for the video game and arcade market. it's performing strongly, as well, garnering more buyers across all regions with all platforms. Sega's Road to 2020 strategy, including the improvement of development efficiency with more personnel attached to each title and machine with more production time given, has really paid off, expanding their video game sales for 3 consecutive years. As for Sega's series themselves, Persona 5 has sold 2.2 million units around the world. The Sonic series is still performing strongly with games like Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces, and is currently preparing new titles, such as Sonic Mania Plus, the new Sonic Racing game, and maybe even more. Yakuza Online, a free-to-play online title set after Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, is coming out in 2018 for PC and smartphones. Yakuza is also getting a crossover with Fist of the North Star. Sega's Yakuza studio also has a new, unannounced IP in the works. Sega's IP revival has started, as well, with a new Sakura Wars game after 14 years, and the Shenmue I & II HD remasters. https://www.segasammy.co.jp/english/ir/library/pdf/settlement/2018/20180514_siryo_e_final.pdf https://www.segasammy.co.jp/english/ir/library/pdf/settlement/2018/20180514_rt2020_e_final.pdf

New information on Team Sonic Racing will be covered in this week's Famitsu issue on June 7. From this preview, Rouge the Bat and E-123 Omega have been confirmed as playable characters, while the Black, Blue, and Crimson Wisps have been confirmed as powerups. For racers we have so far, there's: >Sonic >Tails >Knuckles >Shadow >Rouge >Omega >Egg Pawn That leaves 8 unrevealed characters.
>>2091 So we got Team Dark and Team Sonic. If we're following the standard Heroes team formula, then the rest should be Team Rose (Amy, Cream, Big) and Team Chaotix (Espio, Vector, Charmy) with likely Metal Sonic and Eggman joining the Eggpawn as Team Eggman. That does leave out Silver and Blaze, so that would be unfortunate unless they replace someone on Team Rose or Team Chaotix gets dropped.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMT3_32oRLY New information and gameplay footage for Team Sonic Racing have just come out. A Kotaku UK article states that the game has you race with the team of the character you pick. Items can be requested by any teammates who have fallen behind and transferred to the first fallen-behind teammate who accepts it. You can perform Team Ultimates, powerful speed boosts, by slipstreaming (trailing behind a teammate for a certain amount of time), passing items to your teammates, or using your items to hit other racers. The E3 build, sent to a small group of journalists, features Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, and Omega as playable characters, while blue and orange Egg Pawns take up the remaining racers as CPUs. The gameplay footage features Orange and Red Wisps in addition to the already-confirmed Black, Blue, and Crimson Wisps, as well as brand-new voice clips recorded, a first for Sumo Digital's racing games. http://archive.is/aAqbz

A new interview between Iizuka and Gameblog has just come out. >In Team Sonic Racing, why did you decide to remove all the other characters from Sega (from licenses like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Super Monkey Ball, etc.) and focus on the characters of the Sonic universe? <Team Sonic Racing is a brand new racing game taking place in the world of Sonic. This is not a continuation of previous All-Stars games. Our plan from the beginning was therefore to focus on the characters in the Sonic universe. >Do you not think the previous All-Stars Racing offered a satisfying balance between Sonic characters (there were 7 in All-Stars Racing Transformed) and Sega characters? <Yes, in fact, I have never asked that so many characters from the Sonic universe be integrated into Sega All-Stars Racing. Personally, I would have preferred that there were a greater variety of Sega characters in these games. >Will there be guest characters from other Sega or outside licenses? <There is currently no plan for adding additional characters. >In All-Stars Racing Transformed, you could fly planes and boats, the circuits were transformed and were rather spectacular. The Team Sonic Racing demo that I tried only offered a circuit, itself quite classic, featuring only "normal" cars. Why did you decide to go back to more classic races? <The interest of an All-Stars Racing game is much wider, similar to that of a party game. We wanted to offer a variety of characters and gameplay so that there is something for all players. Team Sonic Racing, on the other hand, is more focused on the driving technique and the elements related to the competition. >How did the idea of using a team system of three characters come to you? <The objective in racing games has always been to finish first in the race, which has the effect of making stoic games. Being Number 1 is ecstatic, but all the other participants in the race are disappointed with their result. The winner did not really have anyone to share the joy of victory. We wanted to change this style of gameplay and create a racing game in which you can share this joy with others. This led to the integration of the teams. >How can a human player cooperate with characters controlled by artificial intelligence? <Your artificial intelligence-led partners offer you their items and communicate with you during the races. Even if you're the only human player playing, we want your artificial intelligence-led partners to interact with you in a way that makes you feel part of a team. >I was told that there were certain elements scripted in the single-player. Can you tell us more about this? <Even though we did not create an epic adventure, we created the Team Adventure mode that tells a story as you go along. So you have a motivation to continue until the end, even if you play alone. All characters in the game will be introduced to you in Team Adventure mode, making it a good starting point. >On Switch, will the local multiplayer game allow twelve players to play in the same room (with 12 consoles or less in the case of split screen games)? <We are still under development. So I can not go into too much detail about the final configurations. >What are the resolutions and framerates on the different machines? <We are still under development. So I can not go into too much detail about the final configurations. But we are working to get the best resolution and framerate possible on all machines. >Since this is a racing game with only Sonic game characters, can we deduce that the license "All-Stars" is dead? <No. As I said before, this game is not connected to the All-Stars games. This is a brand new Sonic racing game. >How has the success of Sonic Mania impacted Sega and Sonic Team's strategy for future Sonic games? <We are very grateful that hardcore fans have really welcomed Sonic Mania, and that new and young players have been introduced to Sonic via Sonic Mania. As such, it is a very good game for the Sonic brand. Sonic Mania Plus will be released next month and we hope that more people will discover the classic Sonic experience and that it will make them want to be interested in Sonic Forces, Team Sonic Racing and other great games we have and cannot wait to show to everyone in the future. http://www.gameblog.fr/dossier_1145_team-sonic-racing-le-patron-de-la-sonic-team-repond-a-nos-qu https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?act=url&depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=fr&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://www.gameblog.fr/dossier_1145_team-sonic-racing-le-patron-de-la-sonic-team-repond-a-nos-qu&xid=17259,15700022,15700124,15700149,15700168,15700173,15700186,15700191,15700201&usg=ALkJrhji_aYKRJAWh8B6PqLiHy2pcfscfA
