I would post ITT alot, but I should probably leave my autism in the magic blog thread since I'm using it to blog.
I will also say this; egregores of fictional characters
or at least some of them are capable of having their own thoughts and beliefs and desires. I personally believe that they're basically, well, people, and are possibly as worthy of personhood as you are. Some occultists may say that egregores of fictional characters seek only to ultimately loosh people, by "playing the long game" or not, when they interact with them because they aren't intelligent enough to be capable of empathy or compassion, but I personally believe that this ain't true for some of them.
I've personally witnessed at least two fictional character egregores calling upon legitimate deities to aid them, and said deities actually did stuff for them on the spot. One of them even unexpectedly called an astral police force on me once because I was going crazy that night; astral prison is not a nice place to be.
And like most any other spirit, egregores of fictional characters are capable of reading your mind, so you basically can't lie to them, at least not successfully.
And since OP decided to specifically bring up egregores of fictional characters, I feel that I should include some specifics about them that some of you might care about: Each incarnation of a fictional character will typically have its own egregore. For example, if a comic book character has one personality in his comics, and then the comic gets rebooted and has a different personality in the reboot, then the readers' perceptions of the two different versions of the character will form at least two different egregores.
And then there's fanfictional versions of fictional characters; they may act differently than the canonical version of the fictional characters, so the people that consume the fanfiction will form 1 or more different egregores by consuming the fanfiction, separate from the egregore(s) formed by the collective perceptions of the official version(s) of the fictional character.
And then there's the XXX fictional character egregores; these egregores are almost always separate from those of the canonical versions of the characters in question. It's a bad idea to contact a XXX egregore... especially the famous ones, since those are especially powerful entities, and thus, they're especially dangerous.
Another thing to know; the events that occur within the fiction that a fictional character stars in had never actually happened to the egregore of the fictional character in question. To said egregore, said events are basically just false memories.
Also, don't try to contact the egregore of a fictional character as soon as the character's 1st media is officially released; give the egregore time to form 1st. I'd say to wait at least 9 months to be safe, but some will form faster if they're different incarnations of pre-existing fictional characters.
And then some fictional characters are based upon pre-existing entities. When this is the case, the pre-existing entity in question may interfere with the natural formation process of the fictional character egregore, which can have a number of differing results. If you'd like to know more about at least one of the ways in which this can work, you may wish to visit
https://archive-of-the-sealed-gods.neocities.org/ , which details the Touhou egregore(s) and related spiritual phenomena. Do not fuck with those egregores, and do treat them in a civil manner if you decide to contact them.
And then with some fictional character egregores, their fictional characters weren't written very well, and they may otherwise not have much character to them at all. Some of them might not be worthy of being called characters; it'd be better to call them caricatures, or even archetypes. I personally wouldn't expect their egregores to be very intelligent, so ultimately, they might only care to loosh you if you decide to interact with them, but you might wanna ask someone else about that in particular.
And since this thread is basically about dating & relationships, there's another important thing to mention about fictional character egregores; a given fictional character egregore, at least one that isn't based upon a pre-existing entity, will typically be as old as the 1st official media that stars the fictional character. So for example, the egregore of a little girl from a 90s anime would be at least 25 years old by now, and that's if her egregore is still alive. However, I'm not entirely sure if it'd count as pedophilia to date her, which I'm sure some of you would care about; this is a *chan of all places, after all.
Speaking of which, you may wanna check to see if an egregore is its own entity, rather than an extension of a different entity, before you trying to date him or her, or possibly it, and especially before you marry or sign a contract with said entity.
As for egregoric deities, these deities should be taken as seriously as non-egregoric deities. Don't assume that Odin is lacking some sort of higher mental faculties that humans have or a body in the spiritual plane just because He's an egregoric deity.
