Although this makes sense in my head right now, I'm already asking myself what the criteria is for "popular enough." What do you think? I could always merge the two at a later date. I don't want to see the board spammed with soulslike threads, any more than you do. But I think non-from, or even non-vidya related threads could be allowed, as long as there is enough of that FromSoftware "overlap." For example a Berserk thread or a Weapons and Armor thread could be fun to have.

>>88 IMO, the soulslike thread should just be containment for the 2D indies. Not because they all suck but because there's so many of them (600+ tagged on Steam). Fully realized, expansive, 3D games like Nioh, The Surge, Mortal Shell etc. should be treated like any of the FROM Soulsborne games.

>>208 I started using it & feral more with the DLCs. Phantom is actually pretty good. Not as great of a general counter but when timed right it's nice. Feral I still can't get right. Phantom does the best full shift damage I think.
