Wikipedia hasn't scrubbed these pages yet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paulo_Freire https://archive.is/FtZpb In South Africa Freire's ideas and methods were central to the Black Consciousness Movement, often associated with the figure of Steve Biko, in the 1970s.[15] [15] Anne Hope - February 12, 1930 - December 26, 2015 http://www.iol.co.za/capetimes/anne-hope-a-woman-of-substance-in-anti-apartheid-movement-1964986 https://archive.is/FiHq8 Critical Pedagogy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_pedagogy https://archive.is/EsqVs During South African apartheid, legal racialization implemented by the regime drove members of the radical leftist Teachers' League of South Africa to employ critical pedagogy with a focus on nonracialism in Cape Town schools and prisons. Teachers collaborated loosely to subvert the racist curriculum and encourage critical examination of religious, military, political, and social circumstances in terms of spirit-friendly, humanist, and democratic ideologies. The efforts of such teachers are credited with having bolstered student resistance and activism.[10] [10] Wieder, Alan (2003). Voices from Cape Town Classrooms: Oral Histories of Teachers Who Fought Apartheid. History of Schools and Schooling Series, vol. 39. New York: Peter Lang. ISBN 0-8204-6768-5. From Wikipedia's pages on Freire and Critical Pedagogy: Freire's major exponents in North America are Henry Giroux, Peter McLaren, Donaldo Macedo, Joe L. Kincheloe, Carlos Alberto Torres, Ira Shor, and Shirley R. Steinberg. One of McLaren's edited texts, Paulo Freire: A Critical Encounter, expounds upon Freire's impact in the field of critical education. McLaren has also provided a comparative study concerning Paulo Freire and the Argentinian revolutionary icon Che Guevara. Freire's work influenced the so-called "radical math" movement in the United States, which emphasizes social justice issues and critical pedagogy as components of mathematical curricula.[14] [14] http://www.radicalmath.org/ Remember David Theo Goldberg of HASTAC who said you must be racist to be anti-racist? >>>309669 Books in the "Globalization of Racism" series include: * Pedagogy of Indignation, by Paulo Freire * Pedagogy of Dreaming by Paulo Freire "Critical Pedagogy" is also known as "Popular Education" http://popednews.org/newsletters/definitions.html https://archive.is/e3US4

Steinberg is the incoming Chair and Director of the Werklund Foundation Centre for Youth Leadership and Professor of Education at the University of Calgary. She is the founding director of The Paulo and Nita Freire International Project for Critical Pedagogy (freireproject.org). She teaches critical media literacy, cultural studies, and critical pedagogy and has a background as a former high school drama teacher. Her recent books include: * Kinderculture:The Corporate Construction of Childhood (2011); * Teaching Against Islamophobia (2010); * 19 Urban Questions: Teaching in the City (2010); with Joe Kincheloe: * Christotainment: Selling Jesus Through Popular Culture (2009), * Changing Multiculturalism: New Times, New Curriculum (2004), and many other books and articles. An internationally known speaker, she is a frequent contributor to CBC Television and Radio, CTV, and The Toronto Globe and Mail. Her research focuses on critical emancipatory education and grassroots activism employing improvisational theatre and the collective, bricolaged research, and cultural contextualization. Joe L. Kincheloe (1950-2008) During his time at McGill, he and Shirley Steinberg founded the Paulo and Nita Freire International Project for Critical Pedagogy (http://freire.mcgill.ca/), which has established itself as a leading archival and co-ordinating centre for a global research initiative that works with teachers and students to improve the contribution that education makes to social justice and the democratic quality of people's lives. Joe played a formative role in the development of critical pedagogy, which is a fusion of Critical Theory, arising out of the Frankfurt School, Antonio Gramsci and others, and the radical democratic pedagogy of the Brazilian educator Paulo Freire. … Joe had held positions at CUNY, including the Belle Zeller Chair of Public Policy and Administration, Pennsylvania State University, Florida International University, Louisiana State University at Shreveport, and, perhaps most influentially, an initial posting as Education Department Chair at Sinte Gleska College in the Rosebud Sioux Community of South Dakota… http://publications.mcgill.ca/reporter/2009/01/joe-l-kincheloe-1950-2008/ https://archive.is/bTDXg Citations from Google Scholar https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=atRCWeAAAAAJ&hl=en * Critical pedagogy and qualitative research, JL Kincheloe, P McLaren, SR Steinberg, The Sage handbook of qualitative research 4, 163-177, 2011 * Multi/intercultural conversations, S Steinberg, New York: Peter Lang, 2001 * Addressing the crisis of whiteness, JL Kincheloe, SR Steinberg, White reign: Deploying whiteness in America, 3-29, 1998 * Privileged and Getting Away with It: The Cultural Studies of White, Middle-class Youth (includes section describing four definitions of patriarchy), Year: 1998 * Changing Multiculturalism, JL Kincheloe, SR Steinberg, Open University, 1997 * Measured Lies: The Bell Curve Examined., JL Kincheloe, SR Steinberg, AD Gresson III, St. Martin's Press, Scholarly and Reference Division, 175 Fifth Avenue, New York 1997 * A tentative description of post-formal thinking: The critical confrontation with cognitive theory, J Kincheloe, S Steinberg, Harvard Educational Review 63 (3), 296-321 1993 > The authors formulate a post-Piagetian cognitive theory that is informed by and extends critical, feminist, and postmodern thought. > Postmodern analysis, though diverse in the ways it is conceptualized, has consistently laid bare the assumptions of Cartesian logic by exposing the ways that the structure of traditional science constructs imaginary worlds. http://www.academia.edu/5779944/A_Tentative_Description_of_Post-Formal_Thinking_The_Critical_Confrontation_with_Cognitive_Theory * The Miseducation of the West: How Schools and the Media Distort Our Understanding of the Islamic World. He recently spoke at the industry conference of the Inferno metal festival Norway. Venkatesh and his team are championing the SOMEONE project, an acronym for SOcial MEdia educatiON Every day. The vision: “To build awareness, create space for dialogue and combat online hate.” An online portal of learning materials — multimedia, digital and social — will be created to sensitize Canadian students, parents, teachers and the general public and designed to prevent hate speech inciting violence and violent extremism. The goal is to foster resilience and develop digital literacy and critical thinking. The developed material — blogs, podcasts, videos, comic books, graphics and other media — will help educators, community members and government stakeholders encourage the use of social media to counter hate speech. StopBullying.gov is run by Marie Dyak Articles include: Protecting Our Muslim Youth from Bullying: The Role of the Educator by: Jinnie Spiegler, Director of Curriculum, Anti-Defamation League, and Sarah Sisaye, Department of Education February 9, 2016 Create an anti-bias learning environment. This means incorporating the experiences, perspective and words of Muslim people into the curriculum through social studies and current events instruction, children's literature, in order to learn about different cultures. When you teach about world religions, be sure to include Islam. … Encourage students to learn how to be an ally when faced with bias or bullying. Adults are often not around when these incidents occur; give students the skills to do something. Help students expand their understanding of what ally behavior is and encourage them to move from being bystanders to acting as allies. Contrary to the popular notion that "standing up" is the only way to be an ally, there are several less threatening and still effective ways to be an ally including: not participating, supporting the student being bullied, getting to know people instead of judging, and more. In addition, share inspiring examples like Walk a Mile in Her Hijab, whose goal is to spread awareness about Muslim cultural traditions and to combat anti-Muslim bias. http://www.stopbullying.gov/blog/2016/02/09/protecting-our-muslim-youth https://archive.is/GMNHX > "be an ally" > "ally behavior" That sounds familiar. >>327594 > In South Africa Freire's ideas and methods were central to the Black Consciousness Movement, often associated with the figure of Steve Biko, in the 1970s.[15] > During South African apartheid, legal racialization implemented by the regime drove members of the radical leftist Teachers' League of South Africa to employ critical pedagogy with a focus on nonracialism in Cape Town schools and prisons. Teachers collaborated loosely to subvert the racist curriculum and encourage critical examination of religious, military, political, and social circumstances in terms of spirit-friendly, humanist, and democratic ideologies. The efforts of such teachers are credited with having bolstered student resistance and activism.[10] How did that turn out? The Gruesome Reality of Racist South Africa http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/180781/gruesome-reality-racist-south-africa-arnold-ahlert https://archive.is/f4J6v South Africa has degenerated into another racist pit, best described by an Afrikaner farm owner: "It's politically correct to kill whites these days." In July of 2012, Dr. Gregory Stanton, head of the nonprofit group Genocide Watch, conducted a fact-finding mission in South Africa. He concluded that there is a coordinated campaign of genocide being conducted against white farmers, known as Boers… Over the last decade, it is estimated that at least 3000 Boers have been killed. What is known is that the ANC celebrated in 100th year anniversary with a song led by President Zuma himself. “Dubula iBhunu” or "Shoot the Boer" was a line in the lyrics of an apartheid-era song, “Ayesaba Amagwala” (“the cowards are scared”) that violates the South Africa constitution prohibiting the “advocacy of hatred that is based on race … and that constitutes incitement to cause harm.” Yet Zuma apparently felt no compunction to refrain from singing it, because the ANC considers it an integral part of the anti-apartheid movement that is part of their heritage. In 2010, the ANC-led regime changed the Firearms Registration Act, demanding that all legal guns be re-registered by July 31, 2011. In the process of re-registration, more than half the applicants were turned down, and 90 percent were turned down again on appeal. Thus, white farm families were forced to relinquish their last line of defense against the tens of thousands of criminal gangs roaming the countryside–armed with AK47s. and as Genocide Watch noted on its website last July one more step was taken as well. “The government has disbanded the commando units of white farmers that once protected their farms, and has passed laws to confiscate the farmers’ weapons,” it reported. “Disarmament of a targeted group is one of the surest early warning signs of future genocidal killings.”

What was the Social Justice opinion on 9/11? * The US deserved it. What was the Social Justice opinion on the Paris massacre? * We must accept the legitimacy of the shooters' grievances. * Import more Muslims. What was the Social Justice opinion on the Florida gay nightclub massacre? * Pretend the shooter was not Muslim. Say that white male Republicans did it. * Forbid gays from owning weapons to defend themselves.

Let's learn about Islamophobia. Michaeldsuarez: gamergate.wikia.com was founded by Snowfox413. Snowfox413 is also a contributor to the "Prison Planet Intelligence Agency Wiki". "Prison Planet" is a website operated by Alex Jones, the infamous conspiracy theorist. Snowfox413's first contribution to the Prison Planet wiki was its "Alleged Muslim Brotherhood influence operations" article, which Snowfox413 copied from an old version of Wikipedia's "Muslim Brotherhood activities in the United States" article (an article that was deleted in July 2012). http://wikipediocracy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5653 https://archive.is/OuO0c "Alleged Muslim Brotherhood influence operations" is a really long page that Wikipedia got rid of "without a Talk or A4D discussion" and replaced with a "Conspiracy Theories" page "with most of the content and all verifiable references removed." http://ppia.wikia.com/wiki/Alleged_Muslim_Brotherhood_influence_operations https://archive.is/bca7i The page has something to say about Islamophobia: > According to Abdur-Rahman Muhammad, the term Islamophobia was invented by the IIIT in northern Virginia as a weapon to "beat up" critics of the Muslim Brotherhood. Checking the source: > Abdur-Rahman Muhammad, a former radical Islamist who has become a vocal critic of the Ground Zero mosque … > Muhammad said he was present when his then- allies, meeting at the offices of the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT) in Northern Virginia years ago, coined the term "Islamophobia." > Muhammad said the Islamists decided to emulate the homosexual activists who used the term "homophobia" to silence critics. He said the group meeting at IIIT saw "Islamophobia" as a way to "beat up their critics." http://www.investigativeproject.org/2217/moderate-muslim-speak-out-on-capitol-hill https://archive.is/IRxRZ From the Prison Planet wiki we also get an example of how "Islamophobia" is used in real life. > Around 2001, future al-Qaeda leader Anwar Awlaki began hosting the prayer meetings of the Congressional Muslim Staffers Organization… > Center for American Progress reporter Tanya Somanader condemned as "Islamophobia" all calls for an investigation into Awlaki's influence in Congress. That really happened. https://web.archive.org/web/20131019155257/http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2010/11/17/130824/robertson-muslim-staffers/ Awlaki was killed in a drone strike the next year, but investigating him would have been Islamophobia. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/09/30/us-born-terror-boss-anwar-al-awlaki-killed.html
Another page on the Prison Planet wiki is "2011 US Congress hearings on al-Qaeda recruitment" http://ppia.wikia.com/wiki/2011_US_Congress_hearings_on_al-Qaeda_recruitment https://archive.is/QwB5o Congress tried to hold hearings in 2011 on al-Shabaab recruiting in the United States. Opposition was organized by CAIR and Muslim Advocates. Then a few other groups joined in: * Interfaith Alliance * Open Society Institute * Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding * Unitarian Universalist Service Committee The Democratic members of the committee disrupted the hearings, accused the Republican participants of racism, accused the Somali community representatives of not being real Muslims, and called for the redirection of government antiterrorism efforts towards suppressing domestic conservative movements such as the Minutemen. The Muslim Brotherhood was well known by this time and the Democrats had been receiving warnings about them for decades so it was no secret who they were allying with. We see the policy shift in progress from opposing al-Qaeda to countering violent extremism where the target groups are neither violent nor extremist. They are the political opposition to the party in power. How did the press cover this shift in policy? Salon called Peter King "Congress's biggest Islamophobe."
Let's see another example of Islamophobia. In 2008 a Jewish activist group called the Clarion Group, a front for Aish Hatorah, put out a video called "The Third Jihad" about right-wing extremism among Muslims. They did what they could to be politically correct and even hired a liberal Muslim as their narrator. The media smeared them as bigots. Think Progress / Center for American Progress Meet The Donors Behind The Clarion Fund’s Islamophobic Documentary ‘The Third Jihad’ By Ali Gharib and Eli Clifton, Jan 24, 2012 https://thinkprogress.org/meet-the-donors-behind-the-clarion-funds-islamophobic-documentary-the-third-jihad-2d6a4ee930a6?gi=9db16de6d571 https://archive.is/aMoay Huffington Post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/the-third-jihad/ https://archive.is/8G39a * Truth Behind NYPD Anti-Muslim Film Makes Clear Kelly Must Resign Fahd Ahmed | Posted 04.01.2012 | New York * Commissioner Kelly Admits Involvement With 'The Third Jihad' Posted 02.02.2012 * WATCH: NYPD Cops Training Included This Anti-Muslim Movie Sonja Sharp Posted 01.24.2012 New York Times * In Police Training, a Dark Film on U.S. Muslims By MICHAEL POWELL JAN. 23, 2012 http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/24/nyregion/in-police-training-a-dark-film-on-us-muslims.html https://archive.is/OHT7p * Hateful Film The Opinion Pages | Editorial http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/25/opinion/hateful-film.html https://archive.is/xfCwS To date, the New York Times has published at least ten articles (op-eds disguised as news, real op-eds, letters) about the film The Third Jihad… https://pjmedia.com/blog/a-muslim-brotherhood-smear-job-on-the-third-jihad/?singlepage=true https://archive.is/IRnr8
In practice the term Islamophobia is used to suppress any opposition to the radicals, the terrorists, the extremists. It is exactly as Abdur-Rahman Muhammad said. The people leading in this use of the term, making cover for terrorists, are the New York Times, the Center for American Progress, the Huffington Post, Salon, etc. They are the "Mainstream" media and the "Progressive" media objectively supporting al-Qaeda by suppressing criticism of the organization's activities and ideology.
I'll shoot my load early. The George Soros network linked up with Muslim Advocates in January 2008 to form the "National Security and Human Rights" project. Part of the project was legal work to oppose illegal actions, such as torture, undertaken in the war on terror. By 2010 it had evolved into a project to suppress the American public will to continue fighting the war, or as they put it in bureaucratese: > The Campaign will seek to dismantle the flawed “war on terror” paradigm and …. replace the politics of fear and anger with a national resilience that recognizes adherence to core democratic and open society values http://soros.dcleaks.com/download/?f=/tab%2005%20national%20security%20human%20rights.pdf&t=us One of the major grantees for this project was the Proteus Fund. If that name sounds familiar, it should. >>>/8diamonds/554 Another grantee was the Center for American Progress which was tasked to build "high quality opposition research" on the "Islamophobia movement." http://dailycaller.com/2016/08/14/memo-soros-group-funded-opposition-research-on-critics-of-radical-islam/ https://archive.is/GPMyE One of the National Security and Human Rights team members is Aryeh Neier who founded the pro-Soviet organization Students for a Democratic Society. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6723 https://archive.is/8uXWt Another team member is Morton Halperin. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=1682 https://archive.is/Gb2FV * "A balance sheet analysis of Halperin's writings and testimonies … gives Halperin a score of 100% on the side of output favorable to the Communist line and 0% on any output opposed to the Communist line." * Halperin ran the team that wrote the Pentagon Papers and leaked them to the New York Times. According to DtN, he handpicked a team of leftists who intentially made the Papers look as bad as possible. * Halperin and Soros together hand-picked the President of the Center for American Progress (CAP), former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta. John Podesta is currently the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton.
Soros paid the Center for American Progress to "study" "Islamophobia" >>327795 The Center for American Progress produced the report "Fear Inc.: The Roots Of the Islamophobia Network In America" written by Faiz Shakir, Wajahat Ali, Eli Clifton, Matt Duss, Scott Keyes and Lee Fang. As described by Daniel Greenfield: The message is subtle, but not very. The majority of the experts blamed in the report for the spread of Islamophobia are Jewish… But the report isn't really about Israel or Jews – it's about silencing critics of Islamic extremism. Shakir, Ali and company tip their hand when they don't limit their attacks to non-Muslims, but go after moderate Muslim critics of Islamic extremism as well. http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/103268/silencing-critics-islamic-extremism-daniel-greenfield https://archive.is/tOxwC The effect of the Soros/CAP work is explained by Frank Gaffney and Clare Lopez in the book See No Sharia: http://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/See_No_Sharia_Final.pdf At the insistence of the Red-Green axis, a “Great Purge” was instituted by the Obama administration in 2011-2012. This devastating influence operation allowed Islamic supremacists and as-yet-unidentified “subject matter experts” to purge government trainers, training materials and other information deemed “offensive to Muslims” from the training curricula of every major security-related agency in the U.S. government, including the Intelligence Community and Pentagon. The practical effect of the Great Purge has been to deny personnel in our first lines of defense an accurate understanding of jihad, the Caliphate or the Global Islamic Movement. Harsh treatment of those who deviate from what might be called a "see-no-shariah" party-line has established that doing so is now a career-ending offense. The message has not been lost on those charged with our national and homeland security. Greenfield has more to say on the subject: Nancy Pelosi Hires Former Terrorist Fundraiser What Faiz Shakir's powerful new post says about Democratic Party anti-Semitism. In 2000, he oversaw a week of events that raised money for Islamic terrorists murdering Jews… Under Shakir, ThinkProgress has promoted Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamists … as someone who claims to be a foreign policy expert, there is no doubt that during his tenure at ThinkProgress he knew exactly what he was doing. http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/133189/nancy-pelosi-hires-former-terrorist-fundraiser-daniel-greenfield https://archive.is/LwlJk

More Startups Are Emerging To Take On Internet Trolls Christina Farr March 14, 2016 Device Daily http://www.devicedaily.com/pin/more-startups-are-emerging-to-take-on-internet-trolls/ https://archive.is/HfPCp > Two weeks ago, a group of developers, journalists, and policy experts showed up at the headquarters of Google and Facebook to brainstorm ideas about how to solve one of the Internet’s pervasive problem: Trolls. > The hackathon, called No2H8, was organized by a company called Affinis Labs, which specializes in throwing events to brainstorm solutions to major challenges. Under the co-opted direction of National Security Council official, Quintan Wiktorowicz, key Cabinet Departments, including Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and State are purging their curriculum materials of any references about Islam that their Muslim Brotherhood advisors find objectionable. In effect, the national security policy of the U.S. government is being brought into compliance with Islamic law on slander. … in October 2011, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published its Training Guidance & Best Practices for Countering Violent Extremism (CVE), a term that deliberately erases any hint that Islamic terrorism derives its motivation from the doctrine, law and scriptures of Islam. It’s no surprise that DHS Secretary Napolitano’s CVE Working Group includes the Obama administration’s favorite Imam, Mohamed Magid (of ISNA and Muslim Brotherhood association), plus Dalia Mogahed, who sports her own jihadist leanings, and one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s all-time favorite law enforcement officials, the LAPD’s Deputy Chief, Michael Downing. https://counterjihadreport.com/2012/06/05/jihads-willing-executioners/ https://archive.is/mf7AU

Napolitano and Muslim Brotherhood affiliates met secretly The Obama administration is bending over backward to cater to radical Muslim organizations in the name of political correctness By Jim Kouri February 3, 2011 http://canadafreepress.com/article/napolitano-and-muslim-brotherhood-affiliates-met-secretly https://archive.is/jMP9N The White House has still refused to name the “American Muslim leaders” with whom President Obama met to “discuss a range of domestic and foreign policy issues.” According to a White House statement on the President’s meeting, the domestic issues discussed were the “Affordable Care Act, anti-Muslim violence and discrimination, the 21st Century Policing Task Force, and the upcoming White House Summit on Countering Violence Extremism.” Comedian and left-wing pundit Dean Obeidallah revealed that he was one of the fifteen Muslim-American “leaders” brought to the White House on Wednesday afternoon. “The No.1 issue raised: The alarming rise in anti-Muslim bigotry in America,” Obeidallah said of the meeting with the President. Their chief collective concern was not the rise of the Sunni Islamic State, nor the expansion of the Caliphatist Shiite Iranian regime and its messianic drive towards nuclear weapons, but instead, “anti-Muslim bigotry in America.” Also at the event was Hoda Elshishtawy of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC). MPAC was founded by members of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. The group has written a position paper rejecting the United States’s designation of Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorist organizations, and has insisted that the Jewish state of Israel be added as a state sponsor of terrorism… Elshishtawy revealed that Dr. Sherman Jackson, who serves as the King Faisal Chair of Islamic Thought at the University of Southern California, was also at the meeting. One lecture Dr. Jackson gave has been described as a “call to battle” between Muslims and the West. From >>>/8diamonds/2707 Sherman Jackson is the "King Faisal Chair in Islamic Thought and Culture" which means that Saudi Arabia is paying for this. http://dornsife.usc.edu/cf/faculty-and-staff/faculty.cfm?pid=1038031 https://archive.is/yE7Go Jackson, an African-American convert to Islam, spoke first. Harvard’s Berkman Center to launch global research and action network focused on youth-oriented hate speech online April 16, 2014 https://cyber.law.harvard.edu/node/95705 https://archive.is/wuFU3 To form the thematic network, the Berkman Center - with participation from Harvard's Institute of Politics Spring 2014 Resident Fellows Class - will work with partners such as former Special Representative to Muslim Communities at the U.S. Department of State and current IOP Fellow Farah Pandith, former Commissioner of the Boston Police Department and current IOP Fellow Ed Davis, tech entrepreneur Shahed Amanullah, the London-based Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), and other Viral Peace collaborators, among others. Remarks by Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Lisa O. Monaco April 16, 2014 introduced by Farah Pandith https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2014/04/16/remarks-assistant-president-homeland-security-and-counterterrorism-lisa- https://archive.is/Ing3A I’d like to thank my colleague Deputy Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, as well as Jeffery Brown from the Ten Point Coalition and Haris Tarin from the Muslim Public Affairs Council for joining me for what I am sure will be an excellent discussion… the Department of Homeland Security is building partnerships with key cities across the country to establish a locally-based envoy dedicated to coordinating government engagement on the threat of homegrown violent extremism. Piloted in Los Angeles, this effort has already helped focus our resources and strategic efforts by streamlining federal, state, and local outreach. And tonight I’m proud to announce that the next such DHS envoy will be based in Boston. … And here at Harvard, the Berkman Center is establishing a new research network dedicated to understanding and ultimately preventing radicalization to violence on the internet. Hate speech and extremism take on complex new dimensions and dangers when conducted online, and this will be a valuable asset as we strive to identify more effective ways to intervene and to address violent extremism in the internet age.

Strong Cities Network: Did the UN just install a global police force? General Assembly in New York on September 29 by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Prince Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. To a lot of people, that match-up doesn't bode well. The Keynote address came from U.S. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch. From the Strong Cities Twitter: https://twitter.com/Strong_Cities/status/649297435374841856 https://archive.is/L0ZlT > We truly believe in the actual teachings of Islam and against the crimes of terror groups. From the Institute for Strategic Dialogue Staff: https://archive.is/JjHYJ * Rebecca Skellett - Strong Cities Network Manager In the best case scenario, "Strong Cities" is just an intelligence sharing network. In the worst case scenario, it is the surrender of territory to Farah Pandith's organization.

The belief that England has a culture and a body of law is given as an example of "right-wing" beliefs. The report defines Islamization, Sharia, taqiyya, and the dhimmi status of nonmuslims as "conspiracy theories." The report is written in an absurd manner that presents enough detail to scuttle its own conclusions. The report presents what the EDL believes, why they believe it, and then declares their beliefs to be "conspiracy theories" without refuting the evidence. Let's talk about "Interfaith Dialog" and "Interreligious Understanding." Every time there is an interfaith meeting between Jews, Christians, and Muslims, the Jewish and Christian leaders give complete 100% submission to the Muslims' demands and begin repeating false Muslim propaganda against their own communities. Every. Single. Time. There is not one instance in which the Muslims have ever made a concession. The pattern is always the same. The problem was started by the Muslims attacking Jews and Christians. Every. Single. Time. After the "interfaith dialog," the Jewish and Christian leaders stop being advocates for Jews and Christians and start being advocates against their own communities. Every. Single. Time. The Jewish and Christian leaders advocate for specifically those Muslims who are attacking the Jews and Christians. The message is "don't blame the criminal, it must have been something we did." Every. Single. Time. It always leads to the community leaders pressuring the police to exempt the Muslims from more and more laws. They are already allowed to get away with robbery and murder but they still complain that the police are too hard on them? Let's completely abandon all police presence and let them police themselves. Every. Single. Time. Free from state interference, the Muslim leaders organize a professional paramilitary force to attack the native population. Faced with public demands to stop the "crime wave," the leaders come up with a solution: More interfaith dialog and interreligious understanding! And outlaw the vigilantes who organized to defend their community, and disarm all non-Muslims so the Muslims don't feel afraid of them. The public has their own solution: Get the hell out of town! The result is "voluntary" ethnic cleansing. The old community is scattered and their land is seized by the attackers. The leaders tut-tut the "intolerance" of their own people and quietly accept their own removal from power when they no longer have a popular or economic support base. We still talk about "white flight" as a racism problem and ignore the presence of Saudi community organizers in the black communities during the 1950s and 1960s. The history of this period may need to be rewritten.

Meet the Alliance of Civilizations Proposed by Spanish President Jose Luis Zapatero and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, currently run by Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser of Qatar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alliance_of_Civilizations https://archive.is/I3B6x Anyone who watches the Middle East knows that Erdogan is a Muslim Brother and Qatar is a big supporter of the Brotherhood. What about Zapatero? > Between 2009 and 2011, the Zapatero government funneled more than €15 million of Spanish taxpayer funds to Palestinian and Spanish non-governmental organizations that are among the leaders in campaigns aimed at delegitimizing Israel… https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/6374/spain-bds https://archive.is/YfDjf > Spain's top diplomat on Thursday angrily dismissed accusations that the Socialist government was anti-Semitic after Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero criticized Israel's attacks on Lebanon and posed in a Palestinian-style keffiyeh scarf. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/20/world/europe/20iht-spain.html https://archive.is/jHLB4 Those scarves have political meanings. Red is Hamas. Black is Fatah. This is Middle East Politics 101 here. So what does this group do? > The UN Alliance of Civilizations' media program is based on two pillars: > > * GlobalExpertFinder.org, an online resource which connects journalists with a wide range of opinion leaders who provide quick reactions and analysis on complex political, social and religious issues; > * A broad array of training programs designed to support journalists and opinion makers in their efforts to report across cultural divides in a fast-changing global media environment. > > The Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF) is an international program that provides small grants of up to US$30,000 to youth organizations advancing intercultural and interfaith dialogue… > > Through the development of clearinghouses, the UNAOC serves as a platform for disseminating materials that resonate with its objectives of improving understanding among nations and peoples… > > The Migration Integration program of the Alliance aims to improve integration, and thereby enhance relations between migrants and host societies. From an early description of the Alliance in the Daily Signal: http://dailysignal.com/2009/04/09/did-president-obama-attend-the-alliance-of-civilizations-forum-or-not/ https://archive.is/KsjiV > The base document for the Alliance of Civilizations focuses on the supposed failings of Western countries while largely ignoring the faults of Muslim nations… > The AoC also endorses the idea of constraining freedom of media, speech, and expression in order to combat “Islamophobia.” From even earlier in 2006: http://www.globalresearch.ca/alliance-of-civilizations/3849 > In a statement, Mr. Kofi Annan said it was clear that religion is not at the root of current tensions. > “The problem is not the Koran or the Torah or the Bible,” Mr. Annan said. “The problem is never the faith, it is the faithful and how they behave towards each other.” > That sentiment was echoed in an editorial published in the Houston Chronicle on Sunday by three of the report’s authors, who also said that political repression in the Muslim world contributes to extremism. > “Denying peaceful opposition movements the freedom to express their views and jailing their supporters generate anger and resentment, encouraging some to join violent groups,” wrote Mr. Tutu, former Indonesian foreign minister Ali Alatas, and Andri Azoulay, an advisor to Morocco’s King Muhammed VI. > “When Western governments lend their support – tacitly or overtly – to authoritarian regimes, they become part of the problem,” the authors wrote. We saw what happened when those "peaceful opposition movements" took power in Egypt. They killed their opposition and seized their property. More recently in 2013: http://dailysignal.com//2013/02/28/u-n-alliance-of-civilizations-not-doing-much-to-promote-tolerance/ > At the fifth Global Forum of the U.N. Alliance of Civilizations (AoC) this week in Vienna, Austria, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated, “Just like Zionism, anti-Semitism, and fascism, it becomes unavoidable that Islamophobia must be regarded as a crime against humanity.” In summary, the Alliance of Civilizations funds activist groups to promote an agenda that aligns with that of Islamist terrorists, while also managing an official list of UN-approved journalists and experts.

They use image recognition to find iconic imagery inside pictures. The example is finding users who post images with swastikas but they can find anything else that becomes a meme. > One promising recent effort, a partnership between Facebook, Twitter, Google, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, and the nonprofit ExitUSA, persuaded at least eight people to leave the white supremacy movement What they call Nazi besides actual Nazis and kids posting Nazi stuff for lolz: * Donald Trump. They really hate Trump and the whole gist of the article is Trump=Hitler and so are his voters. * #WhiteWomenAreMagic - a white pride hashtag. From IRA to Islamists, former radicals unite to become a force for peace By Deepa Bharath, Contributor March 6, 2016 http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Europe/2016/0306/From-IRA-to-Islamists-former-radicals-unite-to-become-a-force-for-peace https://archive.is/BHidR A former recruiter for a radical Islamist group, Yasmin Mulbocus now spends her days connecting Muslim women to the larger interfaith community in her West London neighborhood… The goal of these partners is to connect former extremists with one another and provide them with technical support and funding for counterextremism efforts in their respective countries and communities… "In the end, the objective is to flood the Internet with narratives that can counter the other side," says Sasha Havlicek, founder and chief executive officer of the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, which runs Against Violent Extremism (AVE), the largest international anti-extremist network… AVE’s ranks include some 300 former radicals… This story was produced with help from the International Women’s Media Foundation through the Howard G. Buffett Fund for Women Journalists. Quoted: * Daniel Koehler, director of the Berlin-based German Institute on Radicalization and De-radicalization Studies * Brian Levin, director at the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino * Henry Robinson, a former member of the official Irish Republican Army * Arno Michaelis, a Milwaukee-based former white supremacist. >>328231 Yeah, funny how things repeat. My aunt says we are in the new 1968 without moon shots or Vietnam.
>>328232 These two paragraphs jumped out at me: >There’s a tendency, on both the right and the left, to dismiss these sorts of tweets as idle chatter or “trolling.” Writing in Breitbart in March, for instance, the alt-right icons Allum Bokhari and Milo Yiannopoulos described the movement’s most toxic messaging as “satire” and “mischief” aimed at generating outrage. >Recent experience shows us, however, that this interpretation could not be further from the truth. Individuals ideologically aligned with extremist white nationalists are responsible for repeated incidents of violence online and offline  —  including the high-profile hacking of comedian Leslie Jones’s website, the killing of a Lebanese man in Tulsa, the stabbing of a mix-raced couple in Olympia, Wash., and most horrifically, the mass shooting at a black church in Charleston, S.C. In fact, until the nightclub shootings in Orlando, white extremists had committed more attacks and killed more Americans than jihadist extremists since 9/11. Their evidence that "it's not just trolling" comes from the actions of people who weren't part of the alt-right and weren't part of these online communities. The only exception is the hacking of Leslie Jones website, which, while invasive and despicable, is hardly actual "violence". It's a link so tenuous it's hardly even there, and never explored, yet it's one of the cruxes of their argument.

The Club de Madrid needs looking into. A conference on "preventing and countering violent extremism" was attended by 20 Presidents and 16 Prime Ministers and a shitload of other VIPs, with keynote speeches by Ban Ki Moon and King Felipe. http://www.clubmadrid.org/en/programa/speakers_and_participants https://archive.is/fGJf1 Club de Madrid partners include Bertelsmann Stifung, whose executive director Annette Heuser was on the team that wrote Merkel's immigration policy. They are also partnered with the Swedish Postcode Lottery which might be worth looking into. http://nextgenerationdemocracy.org/partners/ https://archive.is/4TQ8x http://journal-neo.org/2016/04/27/how-nato-linked-think-tanks-control-eu-refugee-policy/ https://archive.is/oeT8t Club de Madrid's Global Consensus - Stopping Violent Extremism program is divided into four focused groups: https://stoppingviolentextremism.org/global-consensus/ https://archive.is/cmnWg * Women, organized by Hedayah (United Arab Emirates) * Education and Youth, organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation (Sweden) and IEMed (Spain) * Inter-religious and Intercultural dialogue, organized by KAICIID (Saudi Arabia) * Online Radicalization, organized by ICSR (Kings College London) and TRENDS (United Arab Emirates) So half of the participants are countries known for sponsoring terrorism. Now let's go back a few years to the Club de Madrid Study Tour to the Netherlands, June 23- 27, 2008 The Strengthening Democratic Dialogue and Freedom of Association in the Middle East and North Africa Project http://www.njcm.nl/site/uploads/download/271 All of it is dedicated to probing Netherlands' cultural defenses and seeing much Muslim extremists will be allowed to get away with before the law cracks down on them. One of the participants is openly a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. The problems that they wanted to look into were that Geert Wilders released the film Fitna, someone published the Jyllands-Posten cartoons, Tariq Ramadan was banned from entry to the United States, and the Christian Democrats wanted to close extremist mosques. This is the same group that was advising everyone on national security a few years later.
In March 2011 the United Nations Human Rights Council passed Resolution 16/18 on Combating Intolerance, Negative Stereotyping and Stigmatization of, and Discrimination, Incitement to Violence and Violence Against, Persons Based on Religion or Belief. http://iheu.org/resolution-adopted-united-nations-human-rights-council-1618/ https://archive.is/7qKrc The resolution was originally much less vague. > In fact, 16/18’s original text simply said that it forbade “Defamation of Islam,” and made no mention of defending any other faith. Following the adoption of the resolution by the High Commissioner of Human Rights, who expanded it to other faiths as well, there was an intense push by the OIC nations to include “Islamophobia” as especially forbidden. The focus on Islam expanded throughout the period of the resolution’s negotiation. http://counterjihad.com/ongoing-affront-freedom-un-resolution-1618-assault-free-speech/ https://archive.is/eeZfJ The text was watered down, but the spirit remained. The resolution's passage was celebrated by Hillary Clinton at the Organization of the Islamic Conference meeting in Turkey at July 15, 2011. Clinton explained how the resolution would be implemented in the United States. > So we are focused on promoting interfaith education and collaboration, enforcing antidiscrimination laws, protecting the rights of all people to worship as they choose, and to use some old-fashioned techniques of peer pressure and shaming, so that people don’t feel that they have the support to do what we abhor. https://web.archive.org/web/20130402041921/http://www.state.gov/secretary/rm/2011/07/168636.htm https://archive.is/Xhrtn Hillary Clinton met with the OIC in December 2011 to continue the "Instanbul Process" of implementing the resolution. > while co-chairing an OIC “High Level Meeting” addressing Islamophobia last July in Istanbul, Clinton invited the OIC to Washington to discuss how to “implement” resolution 16/18. http://nypost.com/2011/12/17/a-perverse-process/ https://archive.is/qFCYL

Clinton should have known, but blaming the movie advanced the administration's agenda of discouraging blasphemy against Islam.
