Gaming Tech and Peripherals
>AMD
similar to a GoG situation of being the best of the worst. They've pandered to GG during times when it was not popular at all to do so I'd give them credit for that at least, but its more of a "best of a bad lot example here". Considering how cancerous so many of these gaming tech companies are though, including AMD, it might be best to just buy your shit preowned in general.
>Nvidia
Not much to say here. they don't seem to be anti-GG or pro-GG as far as I'm aware.
Use your judgement between them since both aren't that great and performance is important.
Don't use Dell. They participated in the Gamers are dead attacks, or in this case, Gamers are worse than ISIS.
I'd personally recommend against Lenovo myself but their infractions aren't terrible compared to the worst of theindustry. They are a chink company known for inserting bad shit into their products (look up Superfish and crapware installs) and their product quality isn't ideal.
Don't use Intel. They gave Anita and Fem Frequency $ 300M. Far too big a sum for anyone to ignore period and they teamed up with numerous unethical media outlets and conglomerates such as Vox Media and Polygon to "fight online harassment".
EVGA, MSI, Acer, and Asus might as well be considered okay for intents and purposes. I use a combination of parts from these companies. Not enough is known in that case so feel free to provide information for or against using certain companies.
Localization companies
This is an especially hot and controversial topic as of right now so I'll try my best to be even more reasonable and fair to both sides.
>Atlus
Directly translated well enough. Didn't take shit from the localization clique, people are happy with them and they're still putting out good enough products.
>Sega
They do a good enough job when they want to. No significant problems outside of Denuvo which is more of a publishing thing on account of their size, rather than something that can directly be attributed towards localization
>Nintendo of Europe
They seem to be good? No big problems found. Not much to say here.
>Xseed
Best of the worst situation. A bit risky with an SJW environment, but for now they do good work for the most part. I'd recommend being vocal with them as I don't think they're beyond redemption but that's my personal assessment, use your judgment
>Spike Chunsoft
New American branch has potential. Keep an eye on them and support good habits and be vocal when you see something you don't like
>Idea Factory International
Now that Nick Doerr is gone, they seem to be okay. Not much to say here since they're pretty small though.
And of course support any and all fan translations and fan translation groups (preferably non-SJW and anti-censorship ones) you know.
Don't support:
>NIS America.
(IMO) They are beyond redemption. They are known for ruining games and butchering translations and have been doing so for years. Their product quality is known for being consistently poor. Its better to pirate or avoid playing their games, but if you think they have a chance of redemption go ahead; its just very unlikely given the circumstances

>Aksys
Less extreme than NIS America. They aren't known for the level of depth in terms of game and localization ruining, but their memes and god-awful translations are legendary when they do come out. Use your judgment here if you will support them, at least make sure to be vocal.
>Nintendo of America/Treehouse
In my personal opinion, they are beyond redemption. Their horrific handling of Fates and general censorship should tip off anyone that they are bad news, and they sent people over to Japan to attempt to ruin XC2's localization at the source.
They didn't seem to accomplish this, but I personally believe it to be a fluke. If you think they're supporting, again be vocal, send an email or something but I think they're beyond hope.
>8-4
Not as bad as some of the others here, but still bad. They seemed to have done good with Fire Emblem Echoes outside of a minor character being turned gay when he wasn't in the original game iirc.
>Sekai Project
… there's a lot more good companies than bad here I feel, getting tired listing them so it'd be easier for anons to ask threads and mirror information they find here, I'm only one anon.
