99% chance it won't be lore friendly. Superman of Earth 23 is a very different person than Superman of Prime Earth. Superman of Earth 23 isn't Clark Kent at all, he's Calvin Ellis, and I think there might be a thing where they mention that he came to Earth as an adult (hence his name just being a variation on Kal-El, or as he's called on Earth 23, Kalel). Obviously, he's president of the US, not a reporter. Also if I recall, he might have a relationship with the Wonder Woman of Earth 23, Nubia (and also I should mention that Nubia is also a concept from the '70s where they revealed Wonder Woman had an adopted black sister, so the Earth 23 version is a doppelganger of her). There have been other versions of Superman where he comes to Earth as an adult (like the old radio show), and he briefly dated Wonder Woman in the early 2010s (but that got erased from history immediately after), but don't let SJWs and casuals use this as an excuse. Multiverse versions of characters are typically very different from each other, and treated as distinctly separate characters. While Calvin Ellis is a Superman, he is not "Superman." There are many different characters who get the title of Superman, but that doesn't mean they're all the character people think of when they hear Superman.
Also, in 2011, after Flash broke the timeline and changed the history of the whole multiverse, Earth-2 got reformatted into Earth 2. Earth-2 was roughly a copy of the original universe seen primarily in comics from the 1930s to the mid-1950s (and was destroyed in 1986), but they make clear that it's only a copy and not actually the same universe, because some characters from the original universe survived, and when Power Girl, who never properly fit into the universe she moved to, went to the new Earth-2, she found that it was just a creepy replacement full of doppelgangers of people she used to know, but anyone who truly knew them would know they aren't the same people. Notably, the original Superman of Earth-Two, from Action Comics #1, died in 2006. He was Power Girl's cousin, and seeing a doppelganger of him on Earth-2, shortly after watching him die, was just eerie and unsettling. (Also, I should mention that the main Superman since the mid-1950s is treated as having almost the same history as the one from Earth-Two, except for contractions that appeared from the 1930s to the 1950s, as well as any additional stories that came out about Earth-Two Superman after the 1960s, since by that point he was established as a separate character).
Anyway the reason I mention Earth-2 is because it got reformatted by The Flash and Doctor Manhattan into Earth 2, where Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Power Girl, and Huntress were the only superheroes, but Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman got killed by Darkseid and Power Girl and Huntress got warped to Prime Earth (the main universe). (This creates a significant problem that technically, this Power Girl is not the one that I was talking about before, since that one is from Earth-Two, but she is treated as if she was. Technically there should be two Power Girls running around on Prime Earth now.) Anyway, the story was supposed to be about the new heroes, rebooted and significantly different versions of The Justice Society, becoming the new protectors of Earth. But like a year in they gave up on this concept and just had new versions of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman show up. The new Superman was the son of Zod, who was black for some reason. He was a good guy, to be clear. Batman was Thomas Wayne who secretly survived. I forget Wonder Woman. Maybe it was her daughter, Fury, or something like that. (Wonder Woman's daughter, Fury, is a concept from the original Earth-Two). Also they had Superman come back brainwashed by Darkseid and he became his main general or something, but Black SuperZod and the rest beat him, but then their whole universe still got destroyed by either Darkseid or The Anti-Monitor or Pre-Flashpoint Brainiac. I forget. There were like three universe destroying threats going on at the time and I forget which one it was that ended up destroying Earth 2.
Anyway, it's also likely they might be basing the movie on Earth 2 black SuperZod. Or most likely, it will be a stupid hodgepodge of him, President Superman, and regular Superman, since the people making the movie probably can't be assed to figure out the differences between them even though all three are entirely separate characters that just happen to have the title of Superman. The people making the movies probably aren't even knowledgeable enough to know that they are different characters. They don't even seem to think of Superman and Batman as different characters. They just see them as brands, then drastically change the characters, and wonder why people don't like them as much as they like the original characters. They changed Barry Allen from a straight laced blonde haired blue eyed cop, who represents the height of morality (and, btw, canonically leans right and believes in the death penalty), into a dumb hipster jew who makes jew jokes and doesn't take anything seriously. Then SJWs try to justify it by saying Flash was goofy in the Justice League cartoon, even though that Flash was based on Wally West, not Barry Allen, who is again an entirely separate character. And of course that version of Wally West wasn't particularly accurate to the comics either, but it was a lot closer than both modern live action takes on Barry Allen. Not to mention the modern black live action version of Wally West, who is so different that when the comics tried to adapt him, they had to give up and say that he's actually a completely different character who just happens to also have the name Wally West, and is the cousin of the original Wally West.
