>He was talking about characters from their respective nationalities will sound better with their native languages or accents.
What about characters having those kinds of accents
IN JAPANESE? Have you ever considered that they have Japanese voice actors who speak the language with an English/French/German/Russian accent? Akin to how Western productions have people speaking English with foreign accents when they're not American.
>The Devil May Cry games
The
DMC games were
released with an English dub in Japan.
That is the one and only exception. How do you not get this? In fact, let's play a little game.
Can you list, for me, games that are based in real life Western locations (Not fictional), that have an entirely Japanese dub when it was released originally in Japan? I'm going through every game I can think of, and
NONE of them were dubbed in Japanese. Which is what the important part of this discussion is
ALL about. Localizers inserting English dubs in games that were not designed with them in mind.
Rule of Roses? That was originally released in Japan with an English dub.
Haunting Ground? Same thing.
Shadow of Memories?
Resident Evil?
Silent Hill? The
ONLY game I can find based in an English speaking country, with characters who should be speaking English, but the game is dubbed in Japanese is
Michigan.

>there's also been an overcorrection these past few entries
There's been an overcorrection from these hacks for years. Just look at
FF7 with the whole Aeris situation.

>What do you think uncut versions of movies are?
Extended version of the films released exclusively on DVD because companies see it as more profitable to get people to pay to see the same movie
twice (But with an additional 20 minutes) even though they could have released the entire thing in theatres.
I grew up with THAT being what "Unrated" versions of films being. And, if you're refering to "director's cuts", those are is just the studio and sometime the original director rearranging old footage and clips to see if it works better than originally released. Need look no further than how the "Snyder Cut" of
Justice League was 75% of the same film Whedon finished and 25% new content made
post release. It isn't even the
original "Snyder Cut" that people were demanding for years on end.
>Or are you trying to tell me that the first Full Metal Alchemist and Hellsing anime were the originally intended experiences of anime adaptations of those manga
Yes because the "originally intended experiences" of those series
was the fucking manga that the anime were based off of. Why do you think people keep telling Anons to read the
One Piece manga over the anime despite it being 99% of the same story?

>Why hasn't there been a civil war yet?
Because people haven't been brow-beaten for a few decades straight for being white and male. The Civil War took 40 years to build up to the point people decided to say "Fuck it" and secede. Hell, the American Revolution took 30 years after the Fench and Indian War before colonists started an active revolt, and the leaders were trying to appease the crown all the way to the end.
