Its Shamisen's level specifically that causes it.
I can understand seeing it as bullshit (it kinda is), but I thought it was kinda clever because the reason for it is that Shami learns a specific ability at that level, one where he can sense danger.
And that's what makes him fuck off.
>Since you're so obsessed with the game, you ought write a guide for the major missables and secrets.
I'm actually probably an inferior resource compared to most people on jewtube, they really know most of the ins and outs for the game, its just a pain to find at times in their videos.
I'm content making my own fanmade scenes for the game, getting artwork commissioned, potentially making a video review and so on.
One time I had a very naive and idealistic vision that I would make a proper sequel for the game, but then I remembered game development is like putting your body and mind into a meat grinder for years on end. I might consider making a
very small, tech-demo/VN-esque little spinoff as basically an homage to it, but that's a pain too.
>lottery tickets being sold
I vaguely remember something like that, as well as some golden lottery ticket. I think at one very specific point you could've bought lottery tickets from the special shop (the rust remover/coffee mlk place) but I'm not sure if that's what was referred to. Like I said, there's almost too much in that damn game.
The lottery is basically meant to be savescmmed though, think nothing of that. I dunno about lottery RNG itself, it was a bit annoying at times but its honestly easier than most lotteries in games I've played from what I remember.
You're
supposed to break the game if you actually want to get anywhere with it, and you do that by being thorough and smart.
