BO here (saying this in case I fuck up the capcode), as some of you might've noticed yesterday it was 8chan's 7th birthday and we still don't have a mascot we can include in group illustrations and shit like that, or just OC in general.
I want your suggestions for a board-tan or mascot, its high-time we finally put one together. It'll be hell deciding on anything and we won't use shitty systems like voting (which can be fucked in too many ways) to determine it.
Like for example, one possible idea I had, was in the spirit of freedom that we make our board-tan a loli.
Of course there are plenty of arguments for other types of girls from imoutos to ara ara's to onee-sans to college girls and christmas cakes, but let's try to nail the basics.
However that doesn't mean the basics are all that can be discussed, if you have cool ideas for accessories or outfits, especially with pictures, feel free to post them. Size matters is a new giantess game in development by uru. It's gonna be free when it comes out, but at the moment the most recent development versions are exclusive to patreon backers. He did release a free english demo, but there's not much going on once you get past these two images. Here's the free english demo:

Intro has like twenty minutes of buildup before GTS stuff happens, but everything after that is giantess content. Load save three if you want to skip most of the buildup. Not much to do but explore, and if you know what to do you can beat the demo in about 3 minutes at this point.
From what I hear, the game gets significant updates about twice a month and they already have someone translating it to english. Shouldn't be too long till its finished, and he might release another free demo soon, as the most recent in-development version was translated to english a few days ago.

I’ll be honest, when I figured out what had happened a year ago, I was a little bit excited.
When the rift tore open above the Alps, permanently disfiguring them for all of history and tearing the ruined mountains from their foundations; we were all scared. Terrified in fact.
Was it the end of the world? Alien invaders? Rapture? Days rolled on and all was quiet. Soon armies and scientist descended upon the rift and began studying it.
Turns out it was Aliens. Well, when I say aliens I mean creatures from another dimension.
So, this rift was a portal to a parallel world much like earth, but where magic is commonplace. The natives of this world are gigantic humans called Colossals. In addition to their sheer size and strength, most of them seem to have supernatural powers or were in possession of magical artefacts.
Of course, as soon as we made contact and found out the nature of these beings, the world leaders immediately thought the worst. Realising the new threat, they dropped all previous notions and prejudices as Earth needed to work together. Any one nation that tried to sway anything in their specific favour were soon brought into line by those who could see the clear and present danger.
We as a species came together to fight for our very survival.
Surprisingly it was a very short lived “All for one!” as we were informed that not only were the Colossals peaceful, but were actively willing to trade with us in exchange for their ability to come to planet Earth.
The nations divided again, each offering the Colossals land to settle on and citizenship in exchange for Trading Rights with the Colossals home world Metra. Those with the greatest number of guests received greater economic benefits. There were some teething problems as the larger, more dangerous Colossals took to this new world with reckless abandon.
So a new system was brought in; Moderators.
A Moderator’s job was to keep an eye on their Colossal and make sure they obey all the laws and don’t cause anyone any trouble. This of course is a 24/7 job, meaning that they had to live with their wards. Most of our visitors decided to import materials from their world to build houses to their scale. The governing power of the moderator’s country provide modifications to their home to make it accessible for the Moderator.
It was a highly-rewarded role, a 6-figure salary sweetened the deal due to the unique nature of the job. At first many volunteered for the opportunity, but the hazardous nature and exuberant personalities of the Colossals very quickly turned many away.

2019 Summer Infinity Cup

The Infinity Cup is returning once again, and 8chan's boards will be fighting it out on the pitch to claim divegrass supremacy. As a board that has participated in the Cup at one point or another in its history, you are invited to the reveal stream for 2019 Summer edition of the Cup. On Saturday June 22nd, at 3 PM EDT/7 PM UTC, on cytu.be/r/8cup I'll be giving you guys an early look at the Cup's 5th edition, which will include revamped aesthetics, team stadiums and other quality of life improvements I've figured out how to do in PES 17. Hopefully this will get anons back on board with the Cup, considering it has struggled mightily since its 2nd incarnation.
So how is it going to go down? I'll be staging a couple of exhibition matches between teams using their rosters from the last Cup, and we'll shitpost our merry way through the stream. Once the stream ends, entries will be open for the Cup, and boards can start putting together/editing their rosters and kits. Entries will close in early July, the field will be determined, and the Group Draw will take place approximately a week before the Cup kicks off in August. I'm also hoping to possibly introduce managers for the Cup, although I'm still working out the details to keep this from devolving into a namefag dick measuring contest.
