KitKat was the best, didn't feel like it was designed by trannies for children unlike today's Android. I really want something system level that doesn't let apps run in the background by default. I understand WhatsApp for example has to send queries to fetch messages, but there is no reason for the calculator app to run in the background all the time. No Zomato no Uber, nothing but apps made purely for messaging and reminding need to run in the background unless mining data.
