السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I have no idea who to approach for this, so I will do so here and may Allah reward whoever comes to this dead board and gives me a response. Who wrote the Islamic poem "Debate between the sword and the pen"? The translation by at-Tibyan attributes it to Zayn al-Dīn ‘Umar ibn al-Wirdī and says shaykh Faris az-Zahrani (Abū Jandal al-Azdī) "wrote" it, so what does this mean? Who wrote this poem originally?
