Then again, AMAMA's stare attack requires a high posture, which might give OBABO a chance to strike himself while AMAMA is in a vulnerable state. There's only a 3 frame window where you can move-cancel out of the stare once the animation starts. That's some tight timing, and I don't know if he could pull that off.
