well. 10 years of MTSTB and straight from my stream of consciousness i'm concocting a cornball bomb, but it's kind of potent to think how removed i am from this yet not much has changed. everything was so much of a product of its time that nobody would be interested in recovering what's been lost other than the few souls present back then. point is, what's there now? sharty and crackhouse wojaks so removed from the source material and lingo i can barely keep up with. but damn if what remains doesn't reminisce a period of my life, mostly bittersweet due to external factors but i truly had fun with it, i'm being sincere when i say how inspiring it was for me as a 14 year old just trying to rip off the dicklick brigade, witnessing a whole ass board coming together to cook up some unlistenable drivel with crass humor for a fun listening party at the end of every month, but it was our drivel and how fun it was
so yeah, 10 years. i can barely keep up with the terminally online side of the net and honestly this shit is just not for me anymore. but if you were there during the 2014-early 2017 run of ARF, you're a fucking rockstar. everyone is pretty much more online than ever these days but i guess i just wanted to move on with a farewell to all this with this corny little post, but i've been watching this day come (one day too late)
