and Dan does the other songs. And those are always amazingly good.
instead of being about fantasy gothic dark shit like your gfs a vampire (skiba is a tryhard) he talks about bad relationships, struggling with addiction, depression, and finally things that make him happy.
You can always tell a dan song from a matt song by A. The lyrics, and B. the voice. Much like the clash the rule in the band is if you wrote it you sing it.

during this time dan andriano wrote a solo album that is amazingly good.
This particular album (Damnesia) is a best of, of sorts.
Its all done acoustically. Friends of mine who never got the appeal of the music became lifelong fans after hearing this album as it really allows you to hear the lyrics and understand the songs.
