The amount of anime onlys that think she's a shit character because of it is quite sad. I'm still praying for a Fate route adaptation remake that doesn't shit the bed. Maybe on the 25th anniversary of the original VN? It's a long shot, to be honest. Special shoutout to the cooking spin-off manga/anime as the one exception. She gets to just be cute in that one, which is tough to fuck up. The one true adaptation for the moe appreciator. Or skip it all and enjoy the smut as its own thing, like a chad. I've done just that for the entirety FGO and I'm yet to regret it.

The author also really know how to handle a story with several characters, give enough spotlight to them, the story still revolving around the protagonists and everything is in balance. In contrast to, idk, boku no hero, where they suck are trying to force you to care for nonsense. So yeah, I would recommend it. It's also not a heavy read, so you can try if you want, surely you will like it
