I don't condone CP, child exploitation or sexualisation of minors, but I don't understand this moral panic towards underage *fictional* characters. I mean, I can understand being suspicious towards lolis or characters who are, like, 10 years old or less... I personally find that upsetting too, honestly. But I saw people getting mad over fictional characters who were 16/17 years old... I would understand if those were real people, but they're fictional. And even if you say they're aged up to 18, people will point out that "they don't look older/different". Yeah, because usually when you turn 18, your appearance drastically change from when you were 16/17... I don't know, maybe I'm in the wrong here.

Anyway, I remember people claiming DeviantArt was doomed at the time of Eclipse: the website is still there (with all his flaws), simply artists' presence on Twitter, Pixiv etc... increased, but usually didn't completely replace DeviantArt. There will be an exodus only if DA starts carpet-bombing all fetish/NSFW art, and I don't think they will be this strict.

If children go onto dA and can see your work without creating an account, this can be seen as a bad thing to dA. - Properly tag your work as being fetish art in the first place so that it doesn't end at the mercy of normalfags who just wanted to see One Piece fanart -Leave the question of consent and sexuality unanswered. Try to stay away from evil sex rape dungeon setups and don't disclose the victim's feelings about it. Aka "TS JUST TICKLING GUYS NOTHING SEXUAL ABOUT IT!" This isn't confirmed in any way whatsoever, but I'm pretty sure at least a few of these are at play here. Stay safe
