Writers who have gone on indefinite hiatus or left without a trace Anonymous 01/12/2025 (Sun) 07:29:07 No. 65816
This thread is mainly asking for stuff of writers who have seemingly left the internet, such as Phantomwolf or Brain I mainly am asking if anyone knows where to find Phantomwolfs either deleted or unedited verisons of his work still up on ekas, also whatever happen to them? Please keep to to dicussing writers and asking for their stuff, I'd appreciate the help :D Also I mainly added their pages cause it's required to have an image so I figured I'd give an example of what I mean

I think i remember one named alisabird or alisabluebird or something that vanished
It sucks so much to see someone writes good stories then they just remove some of them and leave
Gynesis. You can still find some remnants if you search them on furaffinity.
theclaw on aryion It's strange as all his stuff can be searched for and clicked on, but you can't view anything, even logged in with an account
Phantomwolf edited some of their stories and deleted the others and deleted their entire devianart, chances of them coming back is next to none, though I wish there was an achrive
if we're talking writers that have vanished, then jistju was the best cock vore writer i've seen. of course he decided to nuke all his stories though
If I had to guess why story writers leave is cause ekas and devianart aren't great for story writing, sucks when a writer or artist just say "f you" and nuke fucking everything
wonder what happen to sibon13. he just nuked his gallery in 2020 out of the blue. He wrote a fantasy story called tales of runia. pic is of the MC of the story Victoria. His Eka's account is still up but it's very outdated compare to his deviantart account which he nuked.
If anyone has JackNoName's School Assignment series saved I'd be forever grateful. He just randomly deleted/privated everything on Eka's and wayback machine has barely archived a single chapter iirc.
>>69119 It really was bizarre how he dropNice personff the face of the earth the way he did. I've been looking all over for his old content as well as purged art of Victoria with minimal luck.
I think amot of writers/artist leave cause people are genuinely just unable to ignore shit they don't like, I used to be a writer but honestly it got annoying to just got comments daily of "BRUH WTF IS THIS KYS" but then they blantly ignore the cp on devianart... like christ alive, I would move to Ekas but jesus christ they are so bs to upload for, you literally have to get approved to even post shit
>>69525 >I would move to Ekas but jesus christ they are so bs to upload for, you literally have to get approved to even post shit I mean if it helps at all, Eka has literally no quality control for requesting a gallery. The only requirement is that your example is something you created, i.e. not AI or an edit I've seen several artists on the site with toddler level art skill who got approved anyway. I don't know how the process works for writing but I'd assume it's similarly piss-easy
>>69527 the issue is they need a specific file tyoe for text, pne which you usually have to go outta your way to make, it's more annoying than anything cause you'll write something out and have to go temove alot of weird code that appears in it sometimes, I fully get why they have that system otherwise it would be overun with ai shit or worse
>>65816 I honestly think Phantomwolf might've been killed. If you look through his blog he talked about this real shady guy who was hanging around and mooching off his family. From the second hand story the guy seemed really unstable. His last blog post was about how this guy came back into their lives after an absence and after that he never logged back in to the site ever again.
>>68679 pretty sure they got banned for reposting art that wasn't theirs. The fact you can click on their stuff and it doesn't connect is similar to when I click on stuff I have hidden and then the cookies time out and I have to sign back in.
>>69548 regarding my two cents on the matter though, I don't think the case is multi-faceted, some people lack the time to continue doing stories, so they stop updating or update once in a blue moon and return to lurking, this is the same as artists, as writers block and burnout are hand in hand. then there are people who as previously mentioned cannot block out the shit they don't like to see, so they end up seething, malding and rage quitting, i have seen this with again both writers and artists. the third thing is extenuating circumstances, perhaps family issues, their PC bricks, they go off to uni, a wide range of things, as people move on. One that is semi common is they end up having a kid and that becomes their time sink, as real life should always come first. The 4th is they die, this happens, though normally one of their friends online knows them well enough to make a blog post about it. 5th is they get found out by someone irl and it gets nasty. I have seen this several times, and the result is a gallery nuke, its more common with artists as their shit is easy to repost but it does happen with writers. This is most common with younger creators who live with their parents or are more social. off the top of my head, this is the main cause, but it's a shame, as good writers are hard to find. I just know my gallery won't get nuked if i ever step away, as its not like i can purge over 1000 items off the internet, as they have been reposted to too many sites now.
>>69509 consider how much he wrote, his stories could probably be compiled into several books. very dedicated, he also finish them in reasonable time. a far cry from how most vore writers and artists I seen making their own series, they usually abandon them or finish them after years. Sibon13 wrote more in a year than most of them do in a decade.
>>69525 >got comments daily of "BRUH WTF IS THIS KYS" those are just throw away comments, irl equivalent of hearing people say "WTF is this shit, can't believe I paid for it" regarding music, movies or games. don't pay them any mind. they are probably normies who accidentally sees this stuff, then lash out. If it really annoys you tell them to fuck off, won't stop it, but you get to vent a little.
I was gonna use waynack machine but it seems busted half the time
I don’t think I’ve posted a story since, like, 2016. Or 2019, I don’t remember which.
>>69491 I know what you mean! Jacknoname was a brilliant writer! I thought their stories were so damn good, and I was really looking forward to the next story in his school assignment series when I checked back and saw all his stories just gone. Was really disappointing to see. He had a couple other good stories set in his own "voress" universe which were really good, I remember vaguely one about a a guy whose mom has like eaten his past few girlfriends or something and the story ends with him blowing up on her and on a sort of sad note but I liked the super casualness of the vore in his stories. I hope Jack's doing alright, I think about them ever so often when I wish I could reread the school assignment stories.
They haven't nuked their profile, and you can still read their work, but for me when I saw this thread I think Wierdost on Eka. They were like one of the first writers I started following when I made an account on eka and I blame them for my love of more emotional masochist vore xD They had great stories and they were writing this series called Pleasure Inside about a mic sized couple that just hit all the right notes for vore and with some believable characters and themes of trust and betrayal which made it all the better! I guess they had tried to get a Patreon going to make money from writing but i seem to have only saw a few stories where they said it was a commission because all of a sudden they went from posting regularly to suddenly nothing. Nothing on their blog about leaving/retiring so I guess they just didn't get much interest in commissions or their patreon which was a real shame! Same for Bunnywrites. Fuck she was good! Still hoping she pops up soon with another story. She had been prolific and then boom nothing.
