the real problem with Nick is that he fucked up anything political that might've happened. allegedly some people were planning to run a bunch of candidates and try to primary some Republicans, that could potentially normalize some right-wing ideas since these people would be elected representatives and therefore mainstream and therefore could use their twitter accounts (once Elon makes it freeze peach) to push the overton window. but every time people came to Nick with ideas for 'AF Candidates', Nick told them no, and then he torpedo'd relations with the sitting congressmen that were at one point willing to be associated with Nick (Paul Gosar, MTG)

I watched both Casino and Nick's response and I definitely think that the Casino's depiction of events is closer to reality. there is no "movement"- it's just Nick, a handful of even more dysfunctional people that stream for audiences of 50 or so, and the 2000 or so that watch Nick. and the donors that rain hundreds of thousands of dollars on what they've been duped into thinking is a 'movement'
