In a rare stroke of intelligence Adult Swim finally does something worthwhile. Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Venture Bros, and Metalocalypse are all getting movies >The new Metalocalypse movie, from co-creators Brendon Small and Tommy Blancha, follows the power-hungry Tribunal as they unveil their secret and deadly “Falconback Project”. This is against a backdrop of a world which is growing embattled in chaos with the menacing Doomstar breaching the Earth’s atmosphere. Meanwhile, the mysterious and twisted dissent of a band member threatens the future of Dethklok. Picking up directly after the heroic rescue of Toki Wartooth: Can Dethklok choose between their egos and the greater good of the world to embark on a gauntlet of dangers that will try their very souls and finally write the song that will be their salvation? >In the The Venture Bros. movie, Doc’s latest invention will either bankrupt the Ventures or launch them to new heights, as Hank searches for himself, Dean searches for Hank, The Monarch searches for answers, and a mysterious woman from their pasts threatens to bring their entire world crashing down on them. >Aqua Teen Hunger Force will be a continuation of the hit animated series, whereby fans will find out what happens next with Frylock, Meatwad and Master Shake, who consider themselves crime fighters, but the truth is they never fight crime. https://archive.is/0ViSF
>>35556 Should've been: >Neither Of Us Will Be Virgin
>>35583 It's very good. On par with best episodes of the show and the best of all VB movies and specials. It manages to tie most things up and does not feel rushed. Doctor Morpheus is in it too as a part of the main cast. It's been two seasons since he got any meaningful time.
>>35583 Great film. Although by the end it becomes a set up for another season. I won't hold out much hope it's announced but they did make this movie in the first place so maybe it could happen.
>>35627 >>35632 Nice, I'll give it a watch I'm so fucking giddy for Metalocalypse as well.
>>35672 Starting.
Fun movie.
>>35674 Yeah, felt like a good ending, even if some of the plot elements were lost on me because I haven't seen the series.
>>35690 >I haven't seen the series. Then of course it's all lost on you. Go watch it. It's good. You shouldn't have watched the movie otherwise because none of the reveals mean anything to you.
>>12990 >Jack already killed human in the original series when bunch of mercenaries went after him and he didn't give damn. Name the episode, faggot. I bet they were either robots, or just involved in explosions or other off-screen deaths that could easily be interpreted as resulting in cartoon injury. >Jack already has love interest, childhood friend who is a noble Japanese girl, an actual fitting bride for the next Japan' Emperor. Baboon girl doesn't mesh with this just as much as Jack falling for genderbent Aku doesn't.
>>35695 He's talking about Jack and The Bounty Hunters. Jack seemingly killed them all except for the last lady.
>>34887 I know several local bands.
>>35696 In the end they're face down in the snow, but every time he delivers a sword blow to their bodies, there's a metal sound, implying he hits in areas with armor, even the African dude who's barely clothed where the slash clearly goes over his groin. You can argue it's meant to be up to interpretation since you couldn't get away with that on kids' television, but it's never definitely clear.
>>35006 >I loved seeing Enter Florpus Eh, I didn't love it. The bonding moment with Dib's dad felt out of character and it was really weird seeing Dib turn brown even though no time as passed in-universe just because Jhonen Vasquez self inserts as Dib and he turned brown when he got older.

>>34868 >>34885 >>34891 Venture Bros getting a good movie I can believe. But Metalocalypse? The network shat all over the creators and the creators hate them right the fuck back to the point of refusing to work with them. How did this come to be?
>>35701 >point of refusing to work with them. How did this come to be? That's where the monkey's paw comes in.
>>35701 >>35720 I had a dream about these posts where the monkey's paw wish of the Metalocalypse movie coming out was granted by Nathan Explosion not appearing in it and there being no drumming even though he's not the drummer.
I saw the new ATHF movie, it was alright. had nowhere near the edge it used to tho
If these do well, what do you think will get a movie next?
>>35767 Lucy daughter of the devil, Home movies, sealab 2021, and finally....Lol no none of these cause AS sucks ass for a living
>>35767 12 OZ Mouse
>>35776 Yeah thatd be cool.
>>35672 Streaming S1 of Metalocalypse.
>>35672 Streaming S2
>>35672 And S3 and S4 tonight. Army of the Doomstar is 4 days away.
>>35672 I got it. Streaming Doomstar Requiem right now first to catch up, then going for Army.

>>36208 That was excellent. Would have finished sooner if Lazzo wasn't such a dick but it is a great way to finish the series. There's a tribute to Jon Schnepp at the end, he helped direct half the eps of S1 and voiced Twinkletits. The music is more synthesizer heavy than other Dethklok works, I suspect an influence of the musicians that Brendon worked with, King Diamond and the like. The Song of Salvation is up there with The Galaxy for me, a highlight. The lore was also wrapped up a little bit. So Salacia comes from a different race, being called the Half-Man. That race is called the Krakish I think, meaning Mustakrakish the Lake Troll is of the same race but was put asleep under the lake in Finland before Dethklok woke him up. Falconback was a project to build a superconductor and connect it with a rocket to either launch Salacia up to the Doomstar to open the Portal to his world or use the Superconductor to move the Doomstar closer to earth. But yeah, glad the series is finished now. That was a decade's long waiting game to see whither they actually would. Dethklok goes on tour now till October, so look forward to that and the 2 albums, the movie soundtrack and Dethalbum 4 coming out.

>>36209 >>36211 I'll watch it tonight for sure
>>36214 YTS version and Dethalbum 4 are out. Army: 3bb978fd Dethalbum IV: 03ae2036
>>36234 Yo, new Murmaider. Songs are up on Youtube now.
>>36234 Thanks meng
Got around to Army of the Doomstar I think Doomstar Requiem was better but this was still pretty good, those 6 episodes they asked would have made a big difference, though they crammed everything they wanted in there so that was pretty cool. Everything related to Abigail still sucks, that meta talk right at the end was fun and heartwarming. It was a nice sendoff, I'm glad it was made and that we got a conclusion.
>>36262 Truly what I had been waiting a decade for.

>>36263 I just hope that's the case with Venture Bros', considering they pulled out the show from HBO Max so you'll have to stick with Hulu, both sites never had the Christmas Special and the mockumentary episode by the way: Must be some risqué jokes that nobody noticed.
