I'd say the best action cartoons are BTAS, STAS (only one bad episode!), BB if you don't count the bad episodes, Samurai Jack 1-4 (season 5 is bad fanfic and full of retcons for muh mature audience) and PPG I guess, as well maybe My Life as a Teenage Robot and perhaps Dexter's Laboratory. In my head he does, but I don't remember in the show, because the show does a good job making the fights seem natural, so it doesn't feel like he should have punched but didn't. I suppose there's a lot of shooting web in people's faces, but Spidey does that a lot anyway.

It's weird how the X-Men members in Claremont' run are older, yet act like teens (which is cringey, though nowhere near as cringey as the shitlib moralfagging) just as in the cartoon, whereas in Kirby's run they're younger but act a lot more mature. Cyclops in Kirby's run was the most developed and rounded character in what was wacky comic. I really like his personality there, being stoic, tragic and mature character. In contrast, Claremont' Cyclops is a faggy douchebag. I mean, both are cucks, but Claremont' one is the bigger cuck; I don't see Jean kissing Angel in Kirby's run (she probably goes out with Angel in attempt to make Scott jealous). It's such a huge shame Kirby didn't continue to work on X-Men, it's my favorite collab of him and hack Stan Lee, so much better than overrated Craptastic Four. Overall, I'll try to continue both watch and read 90's X-Men, I'll see how much I can endure. You're correct that Claremont is the one who added the politics to X-Men in the first place. Stan Lee claims he always intended the allegory, but that's bullshit and anyone who has read even a single issue of his X-Men can plainly see that. Still, Claremont is also responsible for many classic character and storylines. There is good with the bad. But given that we've seen where things went afterward, how things Claremont started got worse and worse over time, I understand why you may find it hard to read now. It's a shame, because he is the guy who created, if not literally then effectively, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and so many others. It should also be noted that many of his stories have nothing to do with politics, because he does tons of stuff where the X-Men just go to space and fight aliens or whatever, and those are some of his most acclaimed storylines, and some of the most acclaimed storylines in comics in general. Also, Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four is awesome. I don't know what you're on about. But I personally think Thor is Kirby's best work. He clearly was passionate about it and took many of its concepts to his Fourth World work with DC. But then DC didn't let him actually give that series an ending, so it ended up not being much different than his work on Thor. But Thor was awesome. Starts a bit weird and Kirby comes up with the mythology over time, slowly taking more and more stuff from actual Norse mythology and tying it in, and that's when it gets cool. If you like '60s comics and want stuff that's not proto-SJW propaganda, read stuff by Steve Ditko. Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, The Incredible Hulk (the first six issues are Kirby, then Ditko takes over for a long time), Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), The Question. Ditko is awesome.

With the success of X-Men '97, do you think there will be a Spider-Man '98 series, or would it be too expensive to make what may be a single season to explain a single scene at the end of X-Men '97? How long do you think the '94 series would have lasted if Arad and Loesch hadn't had their argument? Would 9/11 have caused it to lose popularity? Would the Animated Universe continue into the 00s as a whole, and the Avengers cartoon attempt to ape Batman Beyond? What would Marvel look like today?

In Batman Beyond in the two episode story, The Call, a Starro possessed Superman recruits Terry/New Batman to find a traitor in the Justice League. The traitor is Superman himself though, no one else suspected a traitor, and it's Terry that figures out it's Superman. Why did Starro bring him on in the first place then? Its reasoning for that decision was never explained as far as I saw.

He's seriously committed to Sonic Underground, but he's self-aware that what he makes is too offputting for the average person. You can see a progression in his techniques, direction, and writing (particularly around romance subplots) as time goes on, and his most recent work, a MLP series is a culmination of these separated from the legacy of his main series. Unfortunately, this new series is very popular, raking in over a hundred thousand views per episode.

It can be so funny that it's awesome, and so awesome that it's funny, and those things feed into each other and make the whole package better. It's legitimately the best Sonic cartoon or comic. It's hard to say where to start, since to go in the real order you'd have to watch the original 40 episodes of Sonic Underground, then read a bunch of old DeviantArt comics (some of which I assume are lost), and a bunch of videos, some of which have plots, some don't, and some which do have plots but seem non-canon but might still be important. It also helps to know other series like Zach Bell, The Doodlebops, the Star Wars prequel trilogy, and Lazy Town. But I digress. I suppose my actual recommendation would be to start with "The Official Documentary of Sonic Underground." A very short video I think is also very good for helping you understand the tone would be "Uncle Chuck AMV - It's My Life." But as for the actual episodes, it's tough, since there are very long arcs that build up in ways you might not expect, if you try to start at the beginning, you honestly might not get it. But the most viewed episode is "Sonic the Hedgehog gets stuck in a hole because he's fat." It's probably just the most viewed because the thumbnail makes it look like Sonic is about to get buttraped by Shrek. (It's not clickbait. It's just a regular frame from the episode.) Still, it's a great episode. They're all great, though. Once you're this far you can probably start watching just whatever random episode is recommended. Other favorites of mine include "Sonic meets Bartleby's parents," "Sonic Underground - The Polar Express," "Sonic the Hedgehog takes his boyfriend Bartleby to the Dollar Store," and "Sonic Underground - The Hedgehog Family Eats Out At The Chinese Buffet." But really I could go on all day. Every episode is great. I think most fans would agree that the actual peak of the series (so far) is "Sonic Underground The Movie: Battle With the Boys." It's a full length feature film and the culmination of at least five years of buildup. That said, it's highly enjoyable even if you didn't watch all the episodes that set up the various members of The Boys and precisely how they got to where they are. That adds something, but this is an excellent movie regardless. In a very auteur move, the second half of the film takes place in real time. Very impressive, especially for an animated film. After a few years, Tamers did what was essentially a sequel film, another full-length epic that was basically the culmination of a long arc, "Sonic Underground The Movie: World War 3." It's awesome, but it was hard to top Battle with the Boys. Personally, I remember being even more impressed with the following episode "Doctor Robotnik has had ENOUGH." But that was a particularly excellent episode that really drove the plot forward in some interesting ways. And yes, I know it sounds like I'm being sarcastic or ironic. I know that it sounds like I have to be bullshitting when I say that my favorites include Sonic taking his boyfriend to the dollar store, or his family going to the chinese buffet, or Uncle Chuck getting an ice cream truck. I know you don't believe me when I say that Battle With the Boys is legitimately the best Sonic movie by a wide margin. I'm not even joking. If you watch Battle with the Boys, you'll understand. It's legitimately awesome. It's hilarious as well, but it's also awesome. I'm not being the least bit insincere when I say that Tamers12345 is the greatest artist of our time. >>41391 Yeah this has really made me hate bronies more than ever before.
