Cartoons that don't deserve a thread Anonymous 09/20/2020 (Sun) 21:00:41 No. 5165
So, I'm watching through this early-2000's series called Alienators: Evolution Continues, and the entire show just feels...off for some reason. I cannot put my finger on why. The show comes across as generic in every way, but even saying that doesn't seem to classify the show properly. You can watch it here to see what I'm talking about: https://invidio.us/playlist?list=PLkLimRXN6NKyhCEvWdWl0Kmab6YefDh6h Has anyone else had this feeling about other series?
>>30693 >nearly /co/ was the beachhead for the tumblr invasion in the first place. It's been over a decade since 2011, and that's when shit really hit the fan there.

>>30694 >It's been over a decade since 2011
Is Miraculous worth watching?
>>30739 No, not even the porn.
>>30757 The only porn I've seen of this show has been either gay/trap porn of the sidekick catboy, or /bleached/ stuff with said catboy giving the hapa MC his superior Gallic seed.
>>30693 >Cuckchan /co/ has been /co/mblr for nearly a decade at this point, there are unhinged faggots on there that scream at anyone posting positive things about Smiling Friends of all things There been a thread on /co/ and /tv/ that last over 24 gourd bitching about how smiling friends is conservative Christian propaganda that shame porn artists and suffering from addiction. https://archive.ph/Y5gfO
Just finished off watch Xiaolin Showdown. How much did they screw up Chronicles?
>>5262 I remember finding out about that shit existing when Joe brought up how that inspired this short animation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKNirq8oXJU I think Joe went schizo a while ago. I don't really keep up with the personal life of content creators..
>>30739 >Is Miraculous worth watching? No, not at all. just go read some fan comics and shit and you will get something better.
>>31162 I honestly don't remember. I remember enjoying it as a kid but odds are it is just mediocre.
>>30739 >Is Miraculous worth watching? Only if you have a thing for flexible teen girls prancing around in latex.
>>32850 Oh my.

This one was pretty neat but there isn't that much to say about it. I had this idea of chaotic players interacting with other universes like DC or Star Trek for some reverse holodeck bullshit.
>>33024 That's getting too into some Kingdom Hearts deviantart shit.
>>33026 True.

>>33026 Chaotic but with superheroes as the secondary setting would probably be the better option. But I'm not sure what the hell would that look like besides a worst version of Parahumans or just some background bullshit the heroes don't really care about.
>>33115 It is not like the whole point is superheroes is to beat the shit out of one another, the Chaotic stuff is kind of redundant but its not like Perim was at peace.
>>33116 The point of superheros is to fight supervillains. This obsession with heroes fighting heroes is because of shit like Civil War.
>>33152 The point I was trying to make is that the main appeal is to see super humans fight one another. the game would be pretty redundant.
>>33157 No the game wouldn't be redundant. It'd still just be a fighting game but with super humans instead of monsters. It's just much less interesting.

>>33163 The Sci Fi stuff has more interesting possibilities.

I think watching this shit made me into the retard I am today.

Holy fuck, I just remembered this. I watched this because there was nothing else to watch on cable at that timeslot. It was around the same time I stopped watching TV altogether, so I guess I finally know why that happened.
>2020 thread goddam
>>33535 Man what the fuck was up with Mendoza? I recall some bits of it but none of the episodes made any relative sense.
>>33551 It's based on an one off Dark Horse adult comic and I'm pretty sure the creators were baked throughout most of it. They sold it off to CN Europe who launched it on Europe only for some reason at a really late timeslot for kids. Funnily enough, The Cramp Twins, which was by the same studio, actually did pretty well in Europe unlike Fat Dog.
>>33618 I remember both, actually, grew up on those cartoons. I can barely remember much of anything about either but I do remember Mendoza being this weird fucking thing where the humor made no sense but it was downright hypnotic.
>>33628 From what I remember the humor mostly consisted of Mendoza being a smug cunt and the kid being an awkward faggot.
>>33535 >Gadgetinis What in the blue fuck WERE they, anyway? Clones? Robots? Aliens impersonating an autistic cyborg?
>>33024 Chaotic a good card game ruined by 4kids. Cartoon weird too. It went from flash to traditional hand draw animation.
There were those weird low quality Italian toons like Huntik, Angel Friends, Beast Keeper. I am sure there were more
>>33656 Chibi clone robots as far as I know >>34009 This is an imageboard anon, post some images. I want to see how those shows look like.

>>34012 It's like a ripoff of every 2000s glorified ad cartoon like Winx and Pokemon. National toy producer trying to push their products maybe? Or trying to ripoff pic related maybe
>>34058 Huntik had toys, Beast keeper i think not. Also Angel Friends was based on an Italian comic. But All of Mondo TV productions are kind off low quality
